new shop

the priest could read what was displayed but had no idea what it meant the only notable thing for him was the skill resource production which was a rare and high-grade skill that slowed one to convert magic into materials such as gold and other metals this alone was quite impressive. though all holders of the skill were required to be under the control of the government. so as per requirement he used the holy spell healing slumber. a spell that puts the target to sleep while healing and protecting them till the priest that cast it let them go or he died.

Angus when he first saw his class and skills was overwhelmed by joy so much so that he did not see the priest casting his spell until he feels into the most comfortable sleep he had in this life.

Angus was in this state for two months as he had to wait for the capital to receive the message and send for him. during this time of his disappearance, no one looked for him or even thought of him they only vaguely remembered the useless brat of his family.

when he was finally awakened he was amid several official-looking figures.

good day, mister Angus as you have been granted a skill that is deemed crucial to the kingdom you have been transported to the capital. but do not fret as you have skills of craftsmen you will not be forced as a soldier for our glorious kingdom instead you shall be gifted a small shop and workspace to make and peddle your wares though you will be required to give a certain amount of material as rent each year and a large discount should the kingdom be of need of your wares. know if you would follow me we shall proceed to your accommodations and workshop.

this happened so fast at one second I finished my ceremony the next I was at the capital which was a month's travel away. as I try to wrap my head around how sudden this all was me and the official arrived at where I would be staying. as I entered the shop I tried to settle down the shop wasn't anything special it looked like your average weapons store but without the wares, there was a large workshop to the right which was thankfully large enough for me to assemble small mechs which I'm gonna have to sell before I can renovate the place to accommodate mechs of other sizes. there was also a small room in the back next to a kitchen where I would live. the first thing I had to do before getting to work was to remove all the useless weapon and armor stands so that once I build a mech I can store it since even the smallest mech would be twice the size of an adult man.
