4 Chapter 4 : Planting cabbages.

After a bit of thinking, Eren decided to return the Hay seeds back inside the barn as he doesn't need them yet.

' What would I need an animal fodder for? ' he thought.

Eren then looked at the other plant seeds available, although he didn't want to buy seeds from here yet for some reasons, he doesn't have a choice.

He needs to upgrade this farm system of his as soon as possible and one of the way to do so, was to plant crops.

Eren saw that there's only 5 plant seeds he can buy for now as the others are still locked and blackened. He can only choose among the five available plant seeds which are Cabbage, Radish, Carrot, Bok Choy and Hay.

Eren choose to buy Cabbage seeds because it is the vegetable that he was familiar with since he used to eat them a lot in his past life.

Also, when he scrolled around the original Eren's memories, he found out that there's also Cabbages inside the Wall of Rose. It means that he can also sell them outside if he wanted.

Eren then spent 150 gold to buy a bag of Cabbage's seed which can be planted in the 10 fields of land he currently has.

As Eren finalized his purchase, the mechanical voice came once again..

[ You bought Cabbage seeds one bag, can be planted, can be brought outside, plants ten fields. Do you want to plant them now? Yes/No ]

Eren clicked the 'Yes' icon then the bag of seeds flew out of his hands. What happened next was so magical that even Eren can't help but to be amazed by the scene.

When the seed bag in his hand flew out, immediately followed by the shovel in the ground also moving on its own!

The shovel made small holes in the ground, and the seed bag tossed out a seed to fall inside, after which the bucket immediately flew up and poured water in the hole, followed by the shovel covering up the small hole, then digging a new hole, spilling seed, watering, burying, as if several people were working with a clear division of labor and a tacit cooperation, dealing with all the work together without any need for Eren to lift a hand.

Seeing all of that, Eren can't help but be happy because with this Spatial Farm, he can live like a landlord.

He didn't even need to have a land outside because he can take this Spatial Farm anywhere he goes.

At anytime he want!

Eren knows a lot of features that can still be unlocked when he level up the Farm. He also planned to go out of the wall after the 3 Years Training and join the Survey Corps or earlier.

That will be dependent to the circumstances.

Eren isn't afraid of going out of the walls and meet the titans because even if he saw one, he can just go inside his Spatial Farm with just a thought and the Titans can't do anything to him anymore.

He is also not afraid to be stranded because he also has tons of food and water inside his farm that will last forever!

But the real reason why Eren wanted to go outside the wall was to capture and tame titans. This are his future unblockable soldiers.

" Marleyans, wait for your grandpa Eren to come. "

" Hahahahaha! "

Yes!

That's right. The Spatial Farm also has that function. Anything or anyone that entered the Spatial Farm will be tamed by the system without failure.

The only thing is that, Eren can't forcefully put anyone that was capable of thinking so Eren was planning to use himself as a bait to lure the Titans inside and tame them.

As for the people that will go inside the Spatial Farm, the Farm System won't forcefully control them or erased their reasonings to become a puppet like being.

It will only influenced them so they won't betray Eren no matter what. They will have a feeling inside them that will keep on telling them that betraying Eren isn't a good thing and that following him is the best choice.

They can still think freely and decide to do things on their own too.

When Eren looked back at the ten fields he planted his Cabbage's seeds, he saw that they had germinated and sprouts can now be seen.

Plants really do grow ten fold faster inside this space and it will only become faster and faster as his level goes up.

Eren remembered that the owner of this farm in the novel he read before can harvest 3 to 4 times in a single day. How heaven defying was that? It will be faster and faster as his level goes up.

After asking the farm system to once again water the plants, Eren decided to go out of the space and wait for Mikasa and Armin's return.

One... two... twenty-six.... thirty one..

Eren in his past life almost never work out his body so he remained quite skinny.

But in this world, he has to do so because he knows just how dangerous this dangerous this world was. Even though he has plenty of cheats at his disposal, Eren didn't want to slack off. He wanted to be top the Cadet Training and graduate as the best Soldier.

He already has cheats so he only need to strengthen his body so why would he still slack off? That wasn't his style.

Just like that, Eren manage to do 100 push ups and 100 sit ups before Mikasa and Armin returned.

He can't help but admire the original Eren a bit for having a quite strong body. Maybe it's because of how he always get into fights with other kids or maybe because there's almost no pollution in this world so people here are quite healthy. If only not for the food shortage.

After another hour, Mikasa and Armin finally returned. They are carrying 3 pieces of bread and a container that has a drinking water inside.

Armin was happy because they managed to get another bread for Eren after discussing with the guards. It's a good thing that one of the guards who was distributing food was used to be their neighbor when they are still living inside the Wall of Maria. He recognized Armin and Mikasa and asked why Eren didn't come with them.

Armin told him that Eren collapsed last night and was still unconscious so he didn't manage to come to take food and when the guard heard that, he took another piece of bread and gave it to Armin who then happily accepted it.

After Armin and Mikasa arrived, they found Eren sweating heavily and was currently lying on the floor while breathing heavily.

The both of them got worried especially Mikasa who swiftly went beside Eren, helping him to get up.

" What happened, Eren? Why are you sweating like this? Are you okay? " Mikasa asked in a slight panic.

Armin was also trying to figure out why Eren was like this. Mikasa already told him that Eren woke up before she left and was lying in bed.

With the help of Mikasa, Eren slowly got up. Seeing the sincere concerns on their faces brought a wry smile on his face.

' I am really blessed to have two good friends .' He thought.

" I'm fine. I'm just doing some minor exercise." Eren said to both Mikasa and Armin.

His words made both Mikasa and Armin to not know whether to laugh or cry or be angry.

Eren just passed out last night but now he's already doing minor exercise? And how can a minor exercise make you sweat so heavily and gasped for breath?

" Eren you must take rest today, we can't afford it if something happened to you. " Mikasa adviced.

" Mikasa is right, Eren. It's better for you to rest first, we still don't know why you passed out last night. Here's your share of food. " Armin added as he handed a piece of bread to Eren.

After hearing what they said, Eren can't help but feel touch inside. He nodded at Armin to tell that he understands before looking at Mikasa who was standing beside him while trying her best to not cry.

Eren took out a piece of clean cloth in his pocket before gently wipes the corner of Mikasa's eyes which made her shocked.

Mikasa didn't manage to react for awhile because of Eren's action.

" Alright. I understand Mikasa so don't worry about me okay? I promise not to do something that will be harmful to me. And besides, I need to do this because there's only a year left before the start of the Cadet Training so I need to be prepared if I wanted to get a good remarks. " Eren said.

" You.. you really wish to join them? "

" Yes. "

" Then I'll join to. " Mikasa said seriously, her tone alone says there's no place for discussion.

Eren knows this already so he didn't bother stopping this stubborn girl. " Sure. I'll be counting on you, Mikasa. "

His answer brought a genuine smile on Mikasa's youthful beautiful face.

" I.. I'll go too. " Armin said timidly.

" You sure? " Eren asked.

' It seems like his dream of seeing the ocean hasn't changed yet. Eren thought to himself.

Armin just nodded his head and didn't speak any further.

" Okay it's decided then. We will join the training after a year but before that, we need to start training our bodies from tomorrow onwards especially you Armin. Let's eat for now. " Eren said as he grabbed his bread before taking a bite.

Armin and Mikasa nodded at him before also taking a bite on their bread.

The bread taste like nothing. It's really bad especially for Eren who had tasted the modern day bread. It's quite hard for him to swallow it but he still did because he didn't have a choice and he was hungry. The cabbages he planted hasn't matured yet so he can't eat them yet .

" This bread taste so bad. I'll make you eat vegetables tomorrow so bear with it for now. " Eren said as he tried to flush the bread to his throat with water.

" Vegetables? But they are expensive and there's no work available that we can do so where do we get the money? " Armin can't help but asked when he heard what Eren said.

Mikasa also look at Eren and wait for him to answer.

" Just wait for it tomorrow. I have a way. And don't worry because I won't steal it. Haha. " Eren said to them when he saw their doubtful expressions.
