Lunch incident

As usual, I sat at my lunch table close to the trash cans, where no one bothers me. As I was eating an apple, I saw Erika approaching me with a devious grin on her face. When I looked up at her, she poured a carton of milk over my head. In my mind, I wondered, "why'd she come over here to do this?" "Why the sudden change in routine?" Of course, I didn't say this out loud, not knowing how'd she react. Suddenly, everyone in the cafeteria started laughing and mocking my expression of surprise on my face. I could feel tears in my eyes. I ran as quickly as I could to get out of there.
