Noah's Mutant Ability [EDITED]

The next week, Noah could be seen in front of X-mansion. Portals really made traveling easier. He was welcomed by Logan's indifference. Logan directed him to the medical bay, where he could get a check-up and knew more about his ability. What he was confident about was that his own elemental manipulation did not come from his x-gene as it came from the marks on his soul.

In the medical bay, Dr. Hank was already there waiting for him. He introduced himself as the one responsible for the health of the residents at the X-mansion. "I've heard about you, Noah. I'm Hank McCoy."

"It's nice to finally meet a renowned biochemist such as yourself, Doctor. Should we proceed?"

"Of course! This way, please," Dr. Hank directed Noah. "If you don't mind, I'll need to strap a few wires on your body. And you need to perform a test for me to be able to get data about your ability."

Noah had no problem with that. Dr. Hank proceeded to strap a couple of wires onto Noah's upper half. He then asks Noah to do a strength test which involved a big hydraulic press, speed test, and reaction speed test.

Noah himself was quite curious about his exact strength. First, he would try it with only his physical strength and only then would he use his chi.

The results were astounding. Without the support of chi, he managed to lift about 200 kg, ran 15 m/s at his maximum speed. However, strengthened with his chi, all his results were doubled. His chi managed to increase 100% of his overall strength. His own physical strength was already beyond amazing as he managed to achieve such a result at only 13 years old and without any super strength powers. This was all the result of his chi strengthening and accommodating his body over time. Even without actively using his chi, his strength would increase. For the reaction speed test, he totally nailed it. With his powerful soul and enhanced perception, the test was absolutely easy.

Back to Dr. Hank, with the data he managed to collect from Noah, he finally could deduce Noah's mutant ability or abilities. He was shocked by the end results.

"Noah, you possess a powerful ability," Dr. Hank said in a serious tone. "Your ability is nullification. From the data I've collected, you could render a mutant's ability useless. Moreover, this ability can still be improved."

Noah was joyful that he possessed such a powerful ability. However, he heard from Dr. Hank that he at the same time also possessed high-speed regeneration like Logan. Dr. Hank said that perhaps it came together with the nullification ability.

Both of them were awesome. He felt it. He felt his mutant regeneration was kicking in. He felt like he had become an immortal. With this ability, he could practice harder and harsher as his ability would help him repair his muscles and strengthen it. Noah's body had already reached the olympic standard but still was not enough to become superhuman. His physical strength was nothing impossible for anyone to achieve as long as they trained hard. It had been hard for him to increase his strength lately. He wanted to get a super soldier serum to get a peak superhuman body which could withstand all of his abilities. He was strong. But his body had become a major restrain in releasing all of his power. He already had a plan and he needed to execute it before the invasion happened.

He had seen how regeneration worked in Logan, the Wolverine. He felt like his regeneration was about the same level as Logan.

However, the nullification power was a new concept for him but he thought that the nullification power had a lot of potential to be developed even though for now he only managed to cancel out a mutant's ability at zero range and for a limited time. First, he wanted to develop the range as zero range practically was no use to him as he needed to be in constant contact with his target. Secondly, an increase over the quantity of his target would be pretty handy. Lastly, he wished that the nullification power in the future could also cancel out every sort of thing like magic, technology and even energy like his chi.

After he confirmed his abilities with Dr. Hank. He had a pressing matter to discuss with Charles over a certain someone.

"Can I talk with Charles?" Dr. Hank kindly showed the way to the principal office. He knocked the door and Noah came in after he had the permission. It's called respect.

"Please, have a seat."

Noah asked Charles, "What's the name of the redhead that came with you the other day?"

"Her name is Jean. Has she done anything to you?"

"It's not that. I sense a powerful entity residing in her, Charles. And your mental blocks are restricting it. She doesn't seem to know about it."

Charles was shocked to hear that Noah could sense that being, "I planned to wait until she is ready and her mental power has matured enough before I tell her about this matter."

"It'll be too late by then."

Charles seemed confused by Noah's statement.

"That being inside Jean originated from fire. I also possessed similar control over fire. That's why I could sense it. That being is overflowed by vitality and lifeforce. But your mental blocks are corroding it over time, filling it with the power of destruction instead. You need to remove your mental blocks now before it gets even worse."

Charles was beyond anxious when he heard his help was actually worsening the situation. Well, he didn't have a close connection to fire like Noah did.

He called Jean using his telepathy and ordered her to come to the office immediately. When she arrived, Charles wasted no time as he told her truth without hiding anything. Jean was angry at him but as Charles had always been responsible for her, she tried to calm down.

Before Noah left, he gave her advice for when Charles removed the mental blocks, "Make peace with it. It was part of you. Learn to accept it with an open heart. Don't seek control over it."

That however, was not Noah's last visit.

During his next visit, Noah was brought to the danger room, where young mutants could be seen training there. Danger room was an efficient tool to use to train teamwork and prepare them for any possible situation.

There were five young mutants who were probably the students taught by Logan, Ororo and Charles. There were Scott, Jean, Kurt, Kitty, and Rogue. They had just finished their simulation.

They were keeping their eyes out on the newbie, Noah.

Kitty excitedly said, "Are you new?"

Charles kindly replied for me, "No, he is just a visitor for the day. But he is a powerful mutant."

The five of them looked at me with disbelief as I was younger than all of them. Scott Summer still did not believe that Noah was stronger than him. And Jean was confident that she had a chance as she a powerful psychokinesis use and added to that she had bonded a little with Phoenix.

All of them had a challenging look on their face. Charles, "Noah, do you want to give the danger room a try."

"Why not?" Noah was excited for a challenge. He was bored sparring with masters of the mystic arts only. He also wanted to try on his nullification ability on mutants.
