Ch. 83 - Timeskip

"....And so, even though Rose survived, she lost Jack in return." Inside a brightly lit hallway, Doflamingo was sitting on a chair while Hela was listening attentively on her throne.

"That's bullshit! The both of them could definitely fit inside that piece of wood!" Hela reacted violently as she stood up and angrily said.

"Well, that's how the story goes and besides, it's impossible for Jack to fit in because the wood wouldn't stay afloat if he force himself in." Doflamingo said as he raised his hands.

"Tch. If that was me, I would've cut that iceberg before it could even hit the ship!" Hela scoffed as she flicked her black hair.

"Too bad for you, it already happened." Doflamingo shrugged his shoulders and said.

"W-well, you got any more stories?" Hela looked anywhere besides his eyes, as she said that.

"Ah ah. Remember our deal. I'll tell you a story if you tell me a story of yours." Doflamingo waved his finger at her face and said with a teasing smile.

"Tsk. Let me think first...." Hela clicked her tongue and said before falling deep into thinking.

It's been a few years since he got stuck here along with Hela and from his view. It doesn't seem to be that bad. During these years he got to know more about Hela, especially about her past.

"I once heard Odin had an affair with a Frost Giantess." Hela said, making Doflamingo almost laugh his ass off.

"W-wait? A Frost Giant?" Doflamingo almost couldn't contain his laugh.

"A Giantess." Hela corrected him.

Doflamingo ignored what she said, instead tried to pry more about the sudden affair of Odin to none other than a Frost Giant! Who would've thought that Asgard's King would not only have an affair but to a Frost Giant at that!

"Please continue." Doflamingo then got 'serious' and gestured Hela to continue.

Hela just sighed and continued her story.

To be honest, Doflamingo got a bit disappointed, as from Hela's story, he could already tell that it was just a rumor probably created by his enemies to bring down his reputation.

Still though, it's a good one especially since Odin did indeed had a Frost Giant son, which is Loki.

Speaking of Odin.

'Has he perhaps noticed me now? Hel is part of his authority as the Godking of the nine realms. Well, if he did then he should've kicked me out of here 5 years ago but since nothing has happened to me yet, then either he didn't notice me or he already noticed me but something is preventing him from kicking me out. I think the answer is the latter, since Odin has lived for thousands of years as a God, he should have a pride as a God and he surely wouldn't allow a tresspasser to enter one of his territories.' Doflamingo thought to himself as he noticed that Hela was now done telling a story and is now probably waiting for his turn.

"Oh right. Ehem, I'll tell you the story of a man of focus, commitment and sheer fucking will!"

(Hela's PoV)

Doflamingo, such a mysterious man that I encountered.

At first, I thought he was like any other mortal, full of greediness and selfishness that won't hesitate to push others on a cliff just to get what they want.

But no, he's not like that. Instead of killing me and gaining the glory of killing the infamous Goddess of Death, he instead decided to stay in my prison just to have a chat and befriend me, a Goddess of Death, a cold blooded killer that won't hesitate to kill her own allies just to accomplish her goals.

Either he's an idiot or this is his way of courting a woman, because of if it is, then he has succeeded.

At first, I don't know what this feeling that I felt when he said those words to me. It's not like I haven't received men's courting me, in fact, thousands of men tried courting me but none of them succeeded. Why? Because I have a rule that only those who could beat me in a battle is worthy to be my man.

And guess what, no one succeeded, that is until Doflamingo came.

Yes, I'm in a weakened state at that time but that doesn't ignore the fact that he indeed beat me in a battle.

Now, he's someone I could call a worthy man to be my man but the problem is, will he accept me? For all I know, he probably doesn't feel the same way.

'What are you thinking, Hela! You're supposed to not fear anything but a simple feeling called love is your weakness?' I can't help but curse myself.

I have fought many battles without an ounce of fear, but when it comes to love, I'm suddenly wavering as if some kind of girl teenager in love.

'No. I will confess my feelings for him. It doesn't matter what his answer is. But if he dared to reject me then I'll surely kill him no matter what.' I haughtily said as I stood up suddenly, making Doflamingo stop running his mouth as he was telling me a story about a man named John Wick.

(3rd PoV)

"Hela? What's going on? Did you perhaps not like the story?" Doflamingo tilted his head and asked.

"I..." Suddenly, Hela feels like the words that she's supposed to utter suddenly got stuck inside her throat.

'A-Am I tripping or did he just got more handsome?' Hela thought to herself as a blush suddenly crepts up to her cheek.

"Hmm?" Doflamingo hummed, gesturing for her to continue what she's about to say.

"Y-You're my husband from now on!" Without noticing, Hela released the pent up feelings inside her as she yelled in front of his face, not knowing that what she said is far from what she's supposed to say.

"What?" Doflamingo's face turned blank as Hela's eyes got wide when she finally realized what she just said.

'What did I just say?' Hela gulped, and can't help but saw the world suddenly spinning before she fell on the ground, unconscious.

"What happened? I think I just saw her eyes spinning." Doflamingo said while wiped his eye before looking back at her again, as if wanting to confirm if he's just hallucinating or not.

'Isn't this the marvel world? How did anime logic got in here?!' Doflamingo yelled to himself inside his mind as he watched Hela's unconscious body and can't help but remember what she said to him earlier.

'What does she mean by becoming her husband? Does she want to role play or something?' Doflamingo wondered as he placed his fingers on his chin while contemplating by himself, not knowing that the readers are probably cursing him and the author for being too fucking dense.

'I should ask her when she wakes up. But now, I should probably place her to something warm. She'll catch a cold if she sleeps on the ground.' Doflamingo sarcastically said as he used his abilities to conjure a mattress and princess carried Hela before placing her down on the mattress.

As he did so, he can't help but stare at her sleeping face.

'Goddess of Death or not, she's still a very beautiful woman. Someone I definitely don't have a chance with.' Doflamingo said to himself with a shake of his head.

As Doflamingo stood up and was about to go into some corner to practice his skills, he suddenly received an influx of information from the Ring of Authority.

"Finally! It's finally done! Now, I could get out of here!" Doflamingo almost kneeled and cry as he analyzed the extra knowledge that he received.

According to the Ring of Authority, he has now gained full control over the dimension Hel, meaning he could do whatever he wanted here and if he wants, he could even unseal Hela here and bring her with him to earth but he would still have to ask her about it. It leave a bad taste in his mouth of he brought back a girl to his home without her permission.

Anyways, putting that aside, Doflamingo could now teleport here whenever he wants with ease and not only that, he could already cast some spells on teb dimension to make sure that no one peeks into it or forcefully enters it. As the new owner of the dimension, Doflamingo would definitely not allow anyone to enter. After all, he's already considering it as an extra base of his that could be used in case the Sanctuary base is discovered or destroyed by a natural phenomenon or some Celestial decided to come and destroy all humans.

This is the Marvel world, you never know what will happen next especially since his butterfly effect on this world is so strong that Doflamingo could barely trace the timeline by now if he's basing on the movies.

As Doflamingo was absorbing the Knowledge that he received.

Odin from Asgard finally received a good news from Heimdall.

"How is it Heimdall, did you succeed in gaining back access to the dimension." Odin expectantly asked. Because it uses too much of Odin force to peek daily on the dimension, he decided to ask his trusted man, Heimdall to keep watch on the dimension.

"I have a bad news and a good news. The good news is that the fog that we always saw has been lifted." Heimdall saluted and reported.

"What did you saw?" Odin asked.

"That's the problem. Even with he fog gone, I still can't see anything inside, only pure darkness. Perhaps something has happened there that we have no knowledge of." Heimdall said, making Odin contemplate before finally making a decision.

"Prepare my Sleipnir, I'm going there myself. If Hela has indeed escaped, then this will be bad." Odin stood up and said, majestically.
