67 Ch. 62 - A mysterious old woman

"Please! Kill me!"

"I don't want it anymore! Please stop!"

"Mama? Where are you? I'm scared."

Doflamingo could heard countless cries as he walked across the hallway with prisons full of miserable people.

"I can't stand this. This is too inhumane." Doflamingo shook his head before his finger twitched and countless sharp strings was produced and slashed all the prison locks, freeing the prisoners.

"You all are free, now go and leave! This place isn't safe anymore." Doflamingo yelled at them. At first, some were reluctant to go out of their prisons, thinking that this was a test and if they failed it they would be tortured once again.

However, when one person went out and glaced at Doflamingo in fear, he immediately said.

"I-I-Is it really safe?" The teen's legs were shaking up in fear and malnutrition as Doflamingo could clearly see the teen's bones and ribs.

"Yes, now go." Doflamingo said then hinted towards the entrance where he entered.

The teen nodded his head and despite his malnourished body, his adrenaline is forcing his body to escape and run away as far from the place as possible.

As soon as he left, others soon followed and started making a run for it as if they're all some kind of chickens that were freed.

Some thanked Doflamingo for his kindness while the rest just either ignored him or just gave him a thankful nod before scurrying off.

"I may be bad sometimes and seems to look like a villain, but I'm not Doflamingo. I don't like seeing innocent people suffer without any wrongdoings. I have my own morals and values, and just because I inherited Doflamingo's body doesn't mean that I would literally copy everything from him." Doflamingo muttered to himself as he already sensed the exact location of the Maximoff Siblings earlier which is the reason why there are two rooms left that aren't sliced by his strings.

*Knock* x2

"Hello? Anyone here?" Doflamingo walked up to the door where Pietro resides and knocked on the metallic door.

Inside the room, Pietro kept quiet as he was afraid that this is some kind of test or something.

"Look, Hydra's gone and I'm with your mother, we're here to save you and your sister." Doflamingo said which caused Wanda who was listening next door beam in excitement.

"Really? You're here to save us?" Wanda asked loudly which caused Pietro to yell at her back.

"Wanda! We're not supposed to make a noise!" Pietro scratched his head.

"Oh, sorry." Wanda realized her mistake and immediately apologized as she hoped that the bad guy didn't hear her.

"He's lying anyway, there's no way mother will save us. She's already dead along with dad." Pietro then teared up a little as he now remembered his painful past that he tried so hard to forget.

"You're wrong. I'm with your real mother." As soon as Doflamingo said that, his hand pierced through the metallic door, shocking Pietro.

"My name is Doflamingo, you can call me Doffy. Nice to meet you." The pierced hand then offers a hand shake to Doflamingo as he introduced himself.

"Who are you, freak?!" Pietro was shocked at what he just saw and unconsciously called him a freak due to his nature, he's just a kid after all.

"Hey, don't call me a freak, it hurts my feelings. Besides, you'll be a freak too in the future." Doflamingo said to him while he muttered the last sentence, though It was still heard by Pietro.

"What do you mean by that?" Pietro yelled at him, though he feels weird about Doflamingo as he seemed to be so different than the other guys in the facility that would always give him either a disgusted look or a cold shoulder.

However, Doflamingo seems to be more of an ongoing easy and carefree person, he doesn't reek of a Hydra Agent like the others in the facility.

"By the way, is what you said true? You're here to save me and my sister?" Pietro hesitantly asked him as Doflamingo replied.

"Of course yes! Besides, if I really have ill intentions to you and your sister then the both of you would probably be dead by now." Doflamingo explained as he finally decided to stop taking his time and directly pulled the door out of its hinches, shocking Pietro once again by his incredible show of strength.

"How did you do that? Are you Superman or something?" If earlier Pietro was freaked out by him but as a kid he adapts quite quickly to situations that fascinated his curiousity as a child, so he was now amazed by this instesd.

"Just some training. And no, I'm not Superman, though I know someone who is very similar to him." Doflamingo said as he remembers a certain person in the Eternals that literally looks like a carbon-copy of Superman from next door.

"Training? Does that mean I could also get this strong?!" Pietro's eyes were shining as he excitedly looked at Xyrus.

Xyrus was reluctant to refuse him, especially his cute expression so he gave in and nodded his head.

"Yes you could get as strong as me, but not now. Anyways, how old are you?" Doflamingo said then deliberately changed the topic, hoping that Pietro would forget about this.

"I'm 11 years old while my sister is 10. How about you mister, how old are you?" Pietro answered his question and asked in return.

"Would you believe me if I said that I'm only 20?" Doflamingo said as he walked out of the room and prepared himself to do the same to Wanda's prison door.

"20?! You look 30!" Pietro pointed at him and refused what he said. Doflamingo's eyes twitched as he stopped in his tracks and faces Pietro before grabbing his entire head.

"Boy, are you telling me that I'm old?" Doflamingo smiled and said threateningly.

"Gulp, N-no mister. I was just joking, hehe." Pietro gulped his saliva in fear as he felt like Doflamingo's stare could kill him in seconds if he continued what he just said.

"Good, you're a good boy." Doflamingo's scary expression suddenly disappeared as if it never existed. After patting Pietro's head, he proceeded to smash Wanda's door without hesitation.

"Kyaaaahhh!" Wanda was unprepared and shock, which is why she squealed.

"Wanda!" Pietro came running inside and immediately hugged his sister as if they've never seen each other for ages.

"I'm glad you're fine. I think this guy could be trusted, let's leave this hell." Pietro patted her shoulders and said to her as Wanda was too distracted to think, so she could only nod at her brother's words.

"That's good. It's time to meet your mothe-." Doflamingo was about to finish his sentence when a red energy wave suddenly blasted everything around them, including Doflamingo and the Maximoff siblings.

Doflamingo only stepped back a little however, the Maximoff siblings were on the ground, unconscious, obviously due to the suddenly energy wave just now.

'That was Chaos Magic. Did something happen to Natalya?' Doflamingo said to himself as he grew worried for his friend, not noticing that both Pietro and Wanda's bodies were glowing in red before disappearing.

Doflamingo spreads his senses and found out that Natalya seems to be exhausted by now, probably due to that move that she just did and what confuses Doflamingo was that there was also another person in front of Wanda and Doflamingo could tell that this person's energy is beaming in light.

'This looks familiar. Wait, isn't this Chi? I remember Master Ye teaching me about all kinds of Chi's.' Doflamingo said to himself as there's only two group of people that could use Qi in the entire MCU.

'It's either the Ten Rings or The Hand. My bet would be on the Hand as I've never had any grudges with the Ten Rings, in fact, I've never even met them. Though there's a chance that they already know about me, after all, I control the entire Underground now and Wenwu is probably eyeing me now.' Doflamingo remarked as he went out of the room and proceeded to go to Natalya's location now, of course without forgetting to transfer both Pietro and Wanda back to the Medical Room in his secret base.

'I should probably think of a name for my secret base, calling it secret base is too bland and boring.' Doflamingo said before finally arriving at his destination.

He was met with various bodies clad in black lying on the ground, probably dead as Doflamingo sensed that they weren't breathing anymore.

Aside the dead bodies, the surroundings were full of cracks and destruction as in the middle of it all was a haggard and tired Natalya while in front of her is an old woman that looks a bit familiar to Doflamingo, though he can't recall the old woman.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Doflamingo voiced out, which caused the fight to come in an abrupt stop as Natalya sighed in relief when she heard a familiar voice.

"My child-." Just as Natalya was about to ask, Doflamingo answered her question.

"They're fine now, I portaled them to the Medical Room in the secret base. You can rest now." Doflamingo assured her and just when he finished saying the last sentence, Natalya fell unconscious with a small smile formed in her lips.

Of course, as a gentleman, Doflamingo wouldn't just let her fall in the stone-cold floor so he catched her body and slowly laid her down on the ground and kept her away from the bloodied battlefield.

"You must be the infamous Joker. Although I didn't expect to meet you here but my visit here is a godsend as I met a woman with so much wasted potential. That Qi of hers is so wild, strong, so chaotic. So much raw power and if it was in my hands I would surely be able to use it to it's full potential." The old man's eyes were full of greed as she started at Natalya's unconscious body like some kind of predator.

"Who are you and why are you here?" Doflamingo used his body to get in between Natalya and the Old woman as he asked her.

"I hope you won't mind me taking her away from you. Though it's not like you could refuse." The old woman chuckled and smirked as she disrespectfully ignored his question.

"Don't worry, I won't refuse. Because you won't be able to take her away from me!" Doflamingo then glared at the old woman as his Conqueror's Haki bursts out of his body, causing the surroundings to shake.
