Ch. 111 - [Title at the end of chapter]

Doflamingo's mind immediately ran at full speed, trying to make a good reason for this.

It didn't take him a long time before eventually making up a good and reasonable lie.

"It's actually the wedding ring of my parents, specifically my mother, I want to use it as Hela's wedding ring." Doflamingo said with a loving smile on his face while Charles nodded his head knowingly.

'I can't believe that worked.' Doflamingo said to himself while at the same time, he praised himself for being such a good liar and an actor.

"Ah, youth." Charles murmured and before they knew it they finally arrived at the Cerebro.

"It may take quite a long time so you could just entertain yourself there." Charles said before wearing the helmet of the Cerebro and stared at the blank space in front of him.

Meanwhile, Doflamingo found a small bench on the side and sat as he waited. If someone saw him right now, he looked like a kid who was sent to the Principal's office and is now waiting outside because his parents are talking with the Principal.

Doflamingo sensed someone entering the underground and it only took a few seconds before that person arrived.

"Mr. Doffy." It turns out to be Rogue who got bored in the awkward atmosphere in the guest room so she used an excuse of going to the bathroom to sneak outside and meet with her savior, Doflamingo.

"Rogue? What are you doing here?" Doflamingo asked.

"...I just want to thank you again." Rogue smiled and said as she sat beside him.

Rogue then proceeded to tell him about how she was before she became a Mutant and how she discovered it.

"How about you? You can manipulate and produce strings, right? When did you first awaken it?" Rogue then shifted the conversation to Doflamingo.

To be honest, Doflamingo doesn't know what to say, so as usual, he made up a story.

"It's actually not that complicated, I awakened it in the Orphanage without even suffering or bad happening to it. It's just like a pop and then there's my powers." Doflamingo said while Rogue chuckled.

If Doflamingo doesn't know that Rogue's intention for meeting him was really just thanking him, he'd thought that she was seducing him or something.

After having a few more minutes of conversation, Logan arrived along with Hela who cast a glare at Rogue which not only made her shiver but it also made Logan release his metallic claws and back away from Hela in fear.

Doflamingo knew that Hela was just being jealous so he walked towards her and pecked her lips.

Hela's previous intimidating glare immediately turned into something akin to a puppy, asking its owner for food.

Logan and Rogue were shocked at how Doflamingo managed to calm her down while Logan retracted his claws while whispering to himself.

"How do you even tame her?" Which was heard by Doflamingo.

"It's strength, Logan. Just strength." Doflamingo patted his shoulder while giving him a sagely nod.

Logan scoffed before walking away while gesturing for Rogue to follow him.

Rogue gave him one last bow of gratitude before scurrying off to follow Logan.

At the same time, the metallic circle door opens up and Charles comes rolling out with a smile on his face.

"I have found it, Mr. Doffy." Charles said before giving him the exact location of the ring and who are the current owners of the ring.

It turns out, because of its special metal, it was kept within a very sealed military facility where they're conducting research on the ring and how the ring is an indestructible item.

"However, at the same time, I also saw a lot of things there, Mr. Doffy." Charles bowed his head in sadness before proceeding to explain to him about the experiments and kidnappings of the mutants.

"You want me to rescue them at the same time?" Doflamingo asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes however, not quite but you don't have to worry. I'll send Ororo and Logan to come with you so you could leave the rescue mission to them, I'm just hoping that in case something happens to them, you would be there to assist them." Charles said as Doflamingo contemplated and doesn't feel like it's bad. Actually, there might be some day that he'll return here, so he might as well be in Charles's good grace and besides, it doesn't hurt to help the poor mutants right?

Furthermore, since he's here, then he might as well build a good reputation for himself just in case he comes back here.

"It's not a problem for me." Doflamingo smiled and agreed, Hela also smiled in excitement as it means that a fight will occur soon.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Doffy! Please consider this as my gratitude to you." Charles said as he gave him a small USB.

"It contains some kind of machine, I tried asking Magneto about it but he said that it's garbage and it's not valuable to him anymore. However, I could see that there might be something interesting about this machine. So I thought, maybe this would be enough to compensate you." Charles explained and Doflamingo accepted the USB with a moment of hesitation.

He would check this USB when he got back home, he'll let Alice scan it for any viruses or something.

After keeping the USB in his pocket, Charles offered them a ride on their personal jet however, Doflamingo refused as he could just portal in the location. He knew that he would be asked some questions by Ororo and Logan if he and Hela stayed on that jet throughout the journey.

It only took Doflamingo 5 seconds to arrive at the locations and what he saw made him a bit disappointed.

Well, he's actually expecting a surprise attack after all, a military facility should always be cautious for Mutant attacks and must make countermeasures for it.

However, when Doflamingo and Hela arrived, they both saw shit!

He could sense that the patrol guards are either sleeping or playing a card game to pass time.

"Tsk tsk. Just because they're in the military, they thought that no one would attack them." Doflamingo shook his head in disappointment as he gestured for Hela to take down all the guards as quietly as possible.

"Don't worry, leave it to me!" Hela licked her lips and said before rushing towards the walls of the facility.

Doflamingo gulped and couldn't help but feel like Hela won't do as he asked?

*Boom!*

It turns out he was right as Hela immediately smashed herself into the compound and countless bullets immediately came pouring on her body.

Unfortunately, both cold and hot weapons couldn't damage her anymore. Perhaps if she faced a nuke head on, then there's a chance of her getting injured.

*Bam!*

Grenades soon followed after the bullets as Hela didn't even bother to dodge and just shot several knives at the soldiers, either killing them instantly or just injuring them.

"Hmm, this would hurt my image to Charles a little bit. Sigh, oh well I'll just leave it be." Doflamingo sighed it himself before speaking as he came walking through the hole that Hela made when she smashed herself inside.

After a few minutes of strolling, all the patrol guards are finally out.

"Ladies first." Arriving at a metallic door that leads to the underground of the facility, Doflamingo flamboyantly gave her the way and said the almighty 2 words.

'Now that I think about it? I think I heard it somewhere that says that the reason why men let women walk first and which made the word Ladies First invented, was because they want to check their asses. Now, it's not like I'm against it or something but the word Ladies First should always be implemented in all kinds of situations.

A kidnapper wants to kidnap someone?

Ladies first!

Someone is dying of cancer?

Ladies first!

A killer picking on who he should kill?

Ladies first!

This would be perhaps the perfect example of a Gentlemen.

Now, it's not like he's against women or something but Doflamingo heard that some women actually think that they don't need men and that men are useless.

Sorry to say this but almost 99% of all the inventions including the game changing inventions were invented by men!

*Bang!*

"M-monster!" A soldier raised his handgun before shooting at Hela however, it did no effect on her except for tickling her.

"This is getting boring." Hela sighed in sadness as Doflamingo looked around and sensed that Logan and Ororo had already arrived at the facility and not only that, they also had some new companions.

"I wonder who it is?" Doflamingo raised a question to himself as he searched around before eventually stumbling upon a room where he saw a familiar looking ring resting on a small pillow that screams royalty!

"Let's go Hela, we got what we wanted here." Doflamingo said as he grabbed the ring and after taking a quick look into it, he puts it into his pocket and just when he was about to conjure a portal to leave, a voice made them stop.

"Ah, look at that! A blonde-haired dude and a black-haired babe, channeling their inner grim reapers! Talk about a killer couple! They've got quite the romantic date going on, surrounded by a bouquet of corpses. Love really does bring people together, huh? But hey, at least they're in good company! It's like a twisted version of Romeo and Juliet, with a lot more blood and guts. Maybe they should consider a double homicide wedding ceremony, complete with matching body bags instead of rings! Oh, the possibilities are endless! But hey, I gotta hand it to them, they sure know how to make a statement. Nothing says 'relationship goals' like leaving a trail of destruction in your wake! I wonder if they're taking applications for a third wheel? Because I'm game for some romantic carnage! Time to crash this party and inject a little Deadpool-style chaos! Woo-hoo!"

When they turned to look at the source of the voice, they saw a guy in a red suit with 2 katanas on his back.

When Doflamingo heard what the man in front of him said, his face twitched as he already knew who the person in front of him was!
