1 New Life, The Force and The Perks of Being Rich

Opening my eyes, I saw what looked to an expansive room filled with toys of all sorts. Yet those didn't catch my eyes gaze as I turned to look downward to my hands.

They were the hands of a child.

'So it worked...' I remarked mentally, unsure how to take this news that I hadn't been dreaming when I met the ice cold Goddess who directed me to spin a wheel for ''a chance to life once again, in a new world''.

A small amount of memories flooded into my head, causing me to wince slightly at the hangover-like sensation that caused a pounding in my head and my stomach to turn nauseas.

This new body of mine belonged to the 5-year-old Arthur Belmond, second born son to Duke Jonathon Belmond of House Belmond - A house based out of the UK.

The aristocratic house this boy belonged to was...unfathomably rich. Rich enough to be even supersede the Stark family and it's weapon's business, Stark Industries. How did it do this? By also being a dealer of weapons of mass destructions. But it also turned it's eyes toward medical advancements as well, which is what really allowed it to beat Stark Industries. Public opinion of Belmond Incorporated is obviously much higher because of the medical advancements.

From the memories I've gained Arthur, I'm pretty sure my second wish is in full effect - to be born into a house filled with resources. This included money, money, and uh, more money. Though I didn't actually vocally wish for it - it was something I got by spinning the wheel of fortune look-alike - it was a brilliant wish to get nonetheless.

Why? Because I don't want to waste my time building a company from the ground up. It's better to have a company pre-built for you.

Plus, if you couldn't already tell by me mentioning Stark Industries, I'm in the MCU. And what's more important than personal wealth? That's right! Personal power and strength. You can be the richest man alive but you could still get killed quite quickly (and very brutally) by a giant green man who likes to shout 'Smash'.

'So, money is sorted for now. What I have to do now is to work on my personal power,' I noted mentally before crossing my legs and closing my eyes. I was about to try and make use of my third wish.

I'd meditated before in my previous life, so I copy pasted the principles over and just sat there, calmly breathing as I tried to clear my mind and stretch my mind outwards to make a connection with something I knew would be there.

It was faint at first...but I felt something. A freshness that wasn't there before, a crispness to the surroundings that had suddenly been made available to me. Yet I continued stretching, urging a connection with whatever I'd just felt. But I didn't force it, nor did I rush it. I took it calm and steady, casually but determinedly pushing for a connection.

I don't know how long it took but before long, I felt connected to something. Something that was all around me and present in just about everything living that was around me. Suddenly I could feel the servants and maids walking passed my room, the bugs and spiders hiding in the corners of my room or under my bed. I felt an intrinsic connection to the world around me.

It was like I'd been freed of shackles I hadn't even known I was wearing.

A stream of a cool energy began to be apparent inside of me, coming from all around me as it entered my body and began to circulate through it. I felt slightly empowered by this but most of all, I felt my connection to whatever it was grow stronger.

'My third wish has also come into effect,' I grinned as I stopped my meditation and opened my eyes. The room around me looked...brighter. Clearer, with more color and sharpness.

My third wish I'd gotten from that wheel? ''Be born with an unmatched affinity for the Force''. My first wish gained was ''Be born in the MCU'', while my second was the aforementioned being born into a rich family with near-boundless resources. I gained two more wishes, one of which I could already feel being implemented.

Unlike the pounding headache brought on by this body's memories, the addition of neutral memories from an outside source didn't feel like anything. One minute I felt like there was nothing new in my mind, and then the next minute I had all this new information at my fingertips.

Lightsaber combat forms, unarmed combat forms*, ways to use the Force - both the light side and the dark side - and ways to train my connection to the force. I had it all in my mind, like I owned a personal library of knowledge that was only for me and open whenever I needed to look at it. The perfect counterpart to my new affinity for the Force.

(*A/N - Most Lightsaber forms can be used as unarmed forms because it wasn't exactly unlikely that a Jedi would be disarmed when up against another Jedi or a Sith. Because of this, unarmed combat is trained just as much as Lightsaber combat.)

Because what is potential power if you have no idea on how to realize and use it? Useless, is probably what I'd call it.

My last wish received from that wheel? I was a Mutant. I didn't know what power I would be awakening but I doubt it could be more useful than my connection and affinity with the Force. After all, the Force gives me a multitude of powers. Even if we don't talk about the utter destructive capability of a Jedi's/Sith Lord's Telekinesis, the Force can be used to push a person's body to superhuman levels. That in and of itself makes the Force a versatile power.

Still, I could only hope for a useful secondary power that would compliment my Force powers. At the very least, I hoped I didn't have a very visual mutation. After all, I'd like to live a life where I wasn't seen as an utter monster. At least, I wouldn't want to be an ugly monster.

Pushing those useless thoughts out of my head, I stood up and saw a toy not too far from me.

Deciding now was as good a time as any, I lifted a hand and focused on that connection I'd just made. I didn't try and force it to work but instead called on the Force to help me lift the toy car.

Within seconds, the impossible happened and the toy car slowly but steadily lifted off the ground. My eyes widened for but a second before I beckoned the toy over towards me and over it came, like some sort of invisible being was carrying it toward me.

When the toy car was in front of me, I just stared at it as it floated and spun slowly in front of me.

Grabbing the car, I felt the Force let go of the object as I stopped using it to. Instead, I called upon the Force and had it flow through my body before it pooled into my arm and hand. It felt somewhat uncomfortable but I ignored such feelings as I felt it empower my muscles and bones before finally, I gripped the toy.

The rigid plastic snapped when the sudden force pressed it inward and the inner machinery and engine of the toy car was also crushed and squashed like it was made of clay.

Looking at this display of power, I could only be enamored by it for a few moments before a burning ran up and down my arm. Like I'd touched a boiling hot stove, I dropped the crushed toy car and stopped channeling the Force into my arm.

The stubby arm I had was now inflamed and red, a pulsing ache coming from the bones inside and spreading to the muscles which seemed to cry in pain.

'...Maybe using the Force to empower my 5-year-old body wasn't the wisest of choices,' I thought as I nursed my arm with a small massage, trying to rub away the pain, 'I guess this is why Force users are usually pretty ripped. Though experience and technique would also probably lessen the effect of this backlash.'

Thinking about it, this was a lot like electricity running through a wire. The current would produce friction which would produce heat, and it seemed like the Force was similar. Running it through your body would produce a reaction which would build up until you reached your limit.

The stronger the body, the higher the limit.

I guess Yoda used those centuries to master his control over the Force so as to negate this Force friction but I don't really have centuries of time to train, do I?

'It's currently 1993, which means I have fifteen years until canon starts. Going off of logic, I probably have similar talent to Anakin - the wish did say ''unmatched affinity'' which is pretty much what Anakin had. So, I get to train from a younger age and for two years longer than Anakin had,' I put a hand on my chin, scratching at it as I thought, 'Plus, I have access to Grey Jedi teachings. I won't be learning one side of the Force while shunning the other - I'll be a lot like Mace Windu in that sense.'

Chuckling at the irony of being in a universe with someone who will no doubt look a lot like Mace Windu, I shook my head before laying out a training plan for myself in my head.

First, I needed a foundation. Before learning anything about Lightsaber combat, I need to know how to handle a saber. Or at the very least, a sword. So, I need a legitimate teacher to show me how to do so. The same goes for unarmed combat - I need a teacher to give me the foundations necessary for me to breeze through my training when it comes to Grey Jedi martial arts.

'So, what I'm gonna do is use the biggest advantage I currently have,' I thought before giving a shout, "Sebastian! Come here!" my immature and high-pitched voice was a bit shrill to my somewhat keener senses but I ignored it when I heard the door opening.

A tall and broad middle-aged man poked his head and upper body around the door, "Yes, Master Arthur?"

'What was my biggest advantage right now?' I restrained a smirk, 'Well, obviously that would be the utterly absurd amount of money at my disposal.'
