THE SEIZE

She dragged him to her direction and pointed her hands towards the end of the hallway, she whispered "the chemistry lab".

Both now moved with an excessively careful gesture.

The couple whirled their selves moving opposite from one another in response to the foot-pound heard ascending the stair. They hid at the door space in front of two opposite rooms.

Tori looked and noticed she was in front of one of the saferooms for an emergency. She was highly relieved and excited, she had found her haven, so she called Mac in a whisper tone to inquire if he had the same notice but he didn't.

The men which began to move closer to them tilting to the side where Mac was, Mac noticed a tracking device in their possession and saw it pointing towards him, he quickly took out his phone in the quest to turn off the location , but to his utmost surprise he had his phone hacked already, since there was no time to decrypt the phone, he gently dropped the phone on the tile without making noise.

He turned towards Tori telling her to lock the door, she was in the room already, she trusted him and knew he had a plan, as she removed her I.D card from the surface of the lock, the vertical reinforced iron moved horizontally to merge with the other end of the door frame, with it making no sound, at about 2fts to close up completely, Mac hopped through the hallway that had parted them, before the kidnappers could pull their triggers, he already had himself in the room, as he entered through the door frame he almost had himself closed up which cost him a cut on his pinkies, he finally got in, giving them a long-lasting relieve.

"Hey I know you have a lot of WH's to say but, can I borrow your phone" She gave him her phone and she texted his mom and Ena, warning them not to call him and ensuring his safety.

As soon as he was done, he handed the phone over back to her, "what is wrong" she asked in a calm voice. "my dad came over last night" he said "really" she exclaimed. "yes, I saw him earlier on the bus, but I was thinking *time travel*"

"How sure are you?" she asked turning her face opposite his to see his expression, he was drowned in all sort of expression except the positive ones. "I figured it out when mom scolded him, she sent him away".

Their moment was interrupted by the heavy bang heard from the door. "I'm the target", Mac spoke in an undetectable voice. "My phone was hacked and tracked, I dropped it off outside, they've figured that I was the one who escaped here."

Both of them stood up, looking for something they could improvise to a defensive weapon in the empty room but they couldn't find any piece of useful material. Before they could give up on their search, the banging was stopped.

A few minutes later, the door opened on its own accord following the Principal's announcement of tranquility.

Mac's eyes were fixed on the spot he left his phone, he met the spot as he had expected 'empty', they joined the crowd that gushed into the hallway that joyfully obeyed the Principal dismissal of the school for a week. Tori grabbed her backpack from her locker, the pair moves down the hallway towards the stair in unison with other students, most of them going to meet their parents in front of the school.

Mac and Tori moved against the direction of the press to the open road. They strolled down to the bus stop.

"How are you taking it," Tori asked. "What?" He replied "your presumed dad", "you mean my dad, I don't know about that, I just don't feel the need for him to come into my life".

He took a deep sigh and sat on the iron bench under the shed at the stop. She sat near him having the instinct that he didn't mean what he said.

All that raced through his mind was the cause of the incident, he could not find an answer to the recurring questions that their answers seem to pose a threat to his existence.

Tori's bus arrived first, she held his hand "I'll be leaving, take care of yourself" she spoke softly.

As he was about few steps away from his house, a van halted by his side, and some men leaped off the van.

His vision began to blur, as well as the ground began to doubt the safety of his stance. He was dragged gently into the waiting van. His hands were locked in a fixed position so as his legs were, his mouth was denied its right to move by a black masking tape, by the men who seem to have completed the safe task of bringing him into the black van.

They zoomed off going in the direction of the city's heart. They had all sort of tools in the van, ranging from torture knives to elimination guns. Mac was placed in the center sit which seem to be an unfortunate space secured for any of their victims. They had been hired by the terrorist group which has become a hot chase by the FBI special division that is headed by Drew to bring Mac safe and untouched, so at least for this while he was not being tortured.

The group of men was distracted by Mac fidgeting action, which led them to infuse another dose of chloroform that could shut him up till they arrive.

Ville saw the news at her office, describing the scene of Lucas High after the unpleasant occurrence.

The reporter had spoken to some of the students and parents which declared the event obnoxious and bothersome. This cost her a heartbeat.

She raised her phone off the table to her convenient view wanting to call Mac before she saw Tori's message, she read it and immediately called her. Tori's voice spoke at the other end, "Afternoon ma'am", Ville replied with an increasingly paced tone. "How has your day been?", in the shortest possible time that she could not have expected a reply, she asked "How is Mac?", Tori had her time to reply to this. "He's fine, he should be at home already, although I left him at the bus stop". "That's okay" Ville replied. I'll call the home line.

"And why would he have instructed me not to call?" she asked, "He had his phone tracked and stolen during the incident, he said something about being the target, but we got through it, after all, thank God". Tori responded, "Do have a good evening, bye" Ville ended.

She paced around her office as if she had heard a detrimental news, she knew something was wrong with Mac but she couldn't explain the feeling even to herself. She had called the home line but sadly, no one was there to pick up the phone.

She got into her car at the park and zoomed off but she decided to give it one more try, someone picked and said "Hello Tamil", she almost felt relieved until she recalled what she heard "Where is Mac" she yelled. "There is an issue" Drew replied, "What!, what is happening? where is he?" Ville responded, "He's been kidnapped", "By who?", "It's classified", "You don't get to tell me what's classified or not when it comes to my kids, but that work of yours aside, I want to know where Mac is" she had gotten to their alley when she hanged up and drove speedily to house the before the front of their house.

Two SUV, FBI vehicles were parked directly in front of it. Drew and Tamil simultaneously turned the knob of the main entrance door. They looked at each other for a few seconds before Tamil broke the silence "Don't for a second think you're leaving without me" she blared, "This is not safe, you should know that right" he looked at her as if what he just said should convince her, but the look he got back totally contradicted his thought. "Mac is not safe wherever he is, do you really think I'm gonna sit here and let you do your hero thing, no that's not happening" she shook her head, and swung it towards the SUV saying, "shall we, before its too late". She bent down carelessly and slid a letter below the door, then she locked the door and left.

They got into the SUV, and immediately, the other FBI agents who had stood at the scene of the incident aforetime got into it. Tamil's heart pace continually increased as they were drawing nearer to wherever they were going.

********************

The warehouse was empty and filled with obscurity, there was one inner room which looks like it has been reserved for their gang leader alone, the area was a wide space with a chair in the center of the hall, the hall likewise had two large entrance one which they got through now and the other to the adjacent of it.

Mac got his black mask off his face and the masking tape on his mouth with the help of a gang member. He could not grin or speak yet, he was still comatose.

A masculine voice spoke from the inner room in the dark spaced hall, "Good job", "Yes Sir" another replied.

Their computer geek came rushing into the room, with a bewildered and dire look. "We are under surveillance by the FBI, " he said. "How could you let this happen?" the gang leader said, the question is "How much time do we have left", the gang leader imitated the question after him before he finished saying it as if it was now a habit.

43,42,41,40.....the geek counted leaving the room already, he knew what he should do, he ordered the other guys to transfer Mac into a SUV, 32,31.....kept blaring in his head as he tried all means possible to get themselves out of the warehouse as soon as possible, as soon as they were all set and prepared to leave, he counted"5,4,3...".

The second after the gangs' SUV had left the building through the back gate, did the FBI arrive. They barged in carelessly and the FBI agents automatically swung into action.

"You should be safe in here, please don't go any trouble" Drew said as he was about to leave the vehicle. She hesitantly nodded her head in support of his opinion.

The FBI agents tattled into their coms. "Clear" as they pointed their torches taking every detail into consideration.

Ryan, their tech guy who had continually tracked the kidnappers van, moved towards it a little bit looking at the device he had in his hand, which signaled he had arrived what he has been tracking, he immediately slid the device into one of his navy blue FBI printed wide jacket pocket and cocked his gun, he walked with the best steadiness that could save him from being killed for the while being.

He paraded the van ready to shoot, all he could see was void, so he took a little step ahead and into the van he went, he noticed some drops of blood on the centered chair. He thought it was from the gangs torturing Mac, so he went back to the SUV, retrieved some syringe and took the blood sample, they tested the DNA sample which matched with Drew's confirming Mac's presence.

They quickly called off the search and with the help of a Bio-blood tracking system, they were able to follow Mac's abductors.

********************

By the time Drew and his FBI crew with Ville got to the abductor's second abode, the abductors were rested assured they were not being followed.

The FBI agents quietly for down from their vehicle, and splitted themselves into rows of two's, they surveyed the sides of the building, all reducing their heights below the window's slab.

Two sets of them barged into the opposite leaving no escape route for the kidnappers, the gang leader swiftly fixed his gun on Mac's head, this freezes Mac, and Drew who was just about to enter, the leader ordered them not to move or he'd shoot, meanwhile all the agents except Drew had one gang member standing beside them.

Drew was prepared for anything, so he tactically lowered his gun to the floor, kicked it away, surrendered. Then he persuaded the gang leader to take him in, in exchange for Mac, the gang leader complied and stood Mac up. Two gang members then moved towards Drew to lock his limbs, at about the time Mac got to Drew's side Drew said: "run in 3.....2.....1". Drew immediately withdrew his hands from those who were still trying to lock it up. He raised his hands towards their ankle and broke it. Mac ran faster than he'd ever run. Then the scene broke, everyone to his opponent, while Drew faced their leader.

Mac managed to escape, he looked left and right then followed the route through which connected to the main road. Before he got to the end of the road, he sighted Ville, which brought his heart's pace back to its normal state, they hugged each other tightly and settled in the vehicle waiting for the rest.

In little or no time, the FBI agents marched the culprits down to their vehicle, they already had a backup from the state headquarters

Drew volunteered to take Ville and Mac home, but Ville refused the offer and decided to take the taxi when they got to their house did Mac ask the question that he already had the answer to.
