Run! Drew! Run!

The lovely American craftsman bungalow was out of words, words which were far away from what it was used to being described as earlier.

The door looked like it were a piece of perforated paper.

The WDPD were at the scene, some were placing plastic yellow number short stands at every important part of the scene that needs to be taken into consideration, some were taping yellow police tapes, at restricted places of the scene, some were taking pictures, while others were either questionnaire or forensic scientist.

Mac was definitely confused, everything happened in a flash, he could hardly take it in at the moment.

Drew was in his FBI jacket, he and Michelle were taking note of every detail, even those that the WDPD wouldn't take note of.

Ena was shot at her midriff, she was bleeding profusely and the bullet had damaged her pancreas and also busted through the wall of her stomach, the paramedic's fan who had come to her rescue, rolled the paramedic trolley along the route to their van.

Mac could not cease to rotate his wet eyeballs all around the scene, the gloom that fogged his thoughts, he didn't know what to think, do, say, or where to go, he was completely in the dark.

He turned his view, now focusing on the van. Him not aware of his surroundings, he ran towards the trolley that kept bumping up caused by the speed of which the trolley was moved by the attendants, immediately Ena was received into the van, treatment continued. Mac hurried in, sat on the bench, held her hands, and prayed unto God not to take her, he held her hands and silently vowed not to leave her hands until she'd recover.

The surgery unit received Ena in and begun surgery. Mac kept praying, he was blank of other options, he paced around the hallway which Ena was.

Ville had earlier been taken, she had ordered that Mac stayed with Ena, before she became comatose.

Drew came into the hallway where Ena's ward was "Hey I'm sorry I had to leave, how is she doing" he said, "she's not fine", he looked up as he answered, looking flushed. Drew knew what he should do, but it seems what he was about to do was going to be either chaotic or just the opposite.

He moved closer to Mac, with an expression of "everything will be fine".

Mac held Drew tight in his warm embrace, that was the only comforting thing that could happen to him right now, and that was the best thing Drew had ever done to him, he judged.

"she's in surgery" Mac whispered as he sobbed on Drew's shoulder.

He crept his hand along Mac's cheek to his cold hands, he wrapped it tightly into his. He then lead him to the bench that was fixed along the alleyway, sat him down, before he could let any shadow of word, pass through his contemplating lips, his mind had shuffled, a million times, putting what he could say together and giving all reasons why he shouldn't say same, the best phrase he could come up with was rather also judged, "everything will be fine" Mac looked at Drew with a face more, helping than earlier, "it sure would", dropped his head and wove his fingers upon each other.

"you're with the FBI," he asked without returning his head, "yes, and that's more assurance, I'll get those who are behind this".

Mac's phone rang, "hope you're alright, it's in the news" Tori asked. "I'm fine but Mum and Ena are in hospital care. When will you be discharged" "Tomorrow" "you'll make it for school then" "yeah I should, but it'll be during the history class" "alright".

Michelle tendered the warrant to the bartender, during the same space of time Mac searched around for Peter Henderson an associate to the iirhabiun group and also responsible for last night mishap.

As he moved his head slowly through the crowd of people that continuously danced to each bit of noise that blared around the confined room, a male figure noticed him then hurriedly began making through the crowd. Mac noticed the movement and immediately, drifted his hands towards his gun, he did not cease tracing Peter during the process.

Peter used all his senses, his sense of direction, precision, which made it more difficult to get to him.

As he got to the stairway before Mac or Michelle could even do the same, he started shooting upwards where they were to pass, the bullet striking the iron balusters very hard that meant danger.

Mac sat lonely in the pool of noise, that curled him up in his own thought, although it seems to disturb him, he later formed a blind barrier, making him shut up whatever irrelevancies that tried to get in.

Tori stepped in almost immediately Mac turned away from the doorpost, history class was already over, and Mac has been expecting her since then. Tori tapped him at his back, and sat, "are you a ghost, nobody's seeing you" Mac asked, "I doubt if they noticed I wasn't around", someone waved at her from the end of the class, that was when there was a hunk of relief that lasted on Mac's face like laughter.

"I'll be going for checkup weekly," Tori said

"Everything will be fine, that's what he said", "you talked with him", "he was the only one there when there was no one else", "the moment would surely break some tear, I can tell", "of course it did".

Furiosity blinded Drew's eyes, he kept shooting sporadically at the car that they raced behind, then precisely shot at the tire. Mac already knew what Peter's reaction will be.

Like it was a choreography, they both let off from the vehicle they were, then Michelle followed suit.

After long minutes of chasing and shooting in the butcher shop, Drew tried to predict Peter's next move since that what seems to be the only solution to getting Peter. He took the time to focus on the next door lock and shot as fast as he could when Peter laid his hands on it.

As Peter got into the slaughter room, he found a safe place to hide, the moment Drew and Michelle entered, they formed a-180 degree gun line, Peter forced his other hand to shoot Drew his fundus.

At the same light of time, Michelle shot at where the attack came from, then from her coms, she said, "officer down, I repeat officer down".

Ena was out of surgery and Ville out of the coma, everything seems just fine until Ville started to shake really bad on her bed. Mac pressed the red button just below her as hard as he felt, the pain of losing her, the doctor came rushing in.
