Mammon chuckled and slowly approached the woman. He was simply taking his time. He knew that no one could stop him. On this planet, he is the strongest.

"Niña! Leave! Take Lemar with you!"

Miriam screamed and glared at Niña. She was determined to sacrifice herself.

"But--!"

"Just go!"

Niña bit her lip and grabbed Lemar who was bawling.

"No! Mama, I want to be with you! Mama!"

Lemar started struggling as he realized that his mother was in danger. He began kicking Niña with his small feet and tried to approach his mother.

However, Niña was stronger and she easily caught him. She turned around. Biting her lip till it bleed, she started running away.

"Mammaaaa!!"

He cried and extended his hand. His face was covered in tears.

Miriam averted her gaze, she was weakly sobbing. She did not want to look at her son because she knew that she would break apart. She was holding her tears and glared at the Demon Lord.

She stood up and summoned her bow. She started firing toward the Demon Lord. Of course she won't back down without a fight.

She showered Mammon with hundreds of arrows.

However, Mammon yawned. He fought countless archers and he was already immune to them. The arrows never penetrate his skin.

He walked forward as he deflected the arrows with his hands. These things would never hurt him.

"You should have used something unique, that's the best way to injure me."

Mammon said one of his secrets. Simply because he knew that Miriam would die here.

Any blunt weapon or blade would not work on him, because he fought countless warriors.

"My Greed makes my body adapt to any situation."

He muttered and grabbed the woman's neck.

Miriam gasped for air as the Demon Lord slowly squeezed her neck.

"Let's see how long you can last."

He smiled. He was interested to see what expression would she have before dying.

Miriam's face was turning red as she started kicking the air. She tried to scratch Mammon's face but even her fingernails could not graze his eyes. As if Mammon is indestructible.

Miriam was slowly dying. She was trying to breathe air but she could not. Her vision was getting blurry.

Suddenly, Mammon screamed in pain as something struck his eyes.

He dropped Miriam to the ground and the woman hurriedly gasped for air. She was coughing her lungs out.

She glanced and found Mammon screaming in pain as he rubbed his eyes desperately.

He said.

His eyes started bleeding. He could not see and the pain was striking him. This was the first time that someone hurt him like this. He didn't have any immunity against this kind of attack.

"Argh!"

He grunted and slammed his head into the ground. He kept doing this to ease the pain.

Miriam was confused. She turned around. Her eyes widened when she realized that Lemar was standing from afar. Niña was next to him, she could not leave her behind.

Lemar's eyes were bleeding and the color of his eyes turned pure white.

"Mama..."

He muttered before falling asleep. He was in deep pain just like Mammon. This was the first time he used his ability and he suffered from the consequences of attacking a higher being.

"Honey!"

Miriam immediately ran and grabbed her son. It was fortunate that Lemar was just sleeping. She sighed in relief but the tears did not stop rolling.

"Miriam, we have to leave. The Demon Lord will heal his wounds."

Niña said and carried Miriam and Lemar.

"Thank you Niña."

"It's not me, Lemar kept crying and I can't stop him."

"Hm."

Miriam nodded and wiped her tears. She could not believe that Lemar would push himself just to save her. She caressed his face.

Niña started sprinting away. She had to take distance away from Mammon.

Furthermore, he was using another Item. This Item was a treasure he obtained after killing a Titan God, it could make someone slower once hit.

Mammon successfully kicked Niña in the abdomen and she stumbled.

Miriam was worried but the Demon Lord was not the type to stop.

Mammon immediately approached them and stomped them. Niña took out her daggers and threw them onto his face.

He was not affected and aimed his feet at Lemar who was currently trembling.

Princess Belle was carrying Kaya who was coughing blood. The Princess' ruby was weakly glowing until the light vanished.
