16 King of the Maze

Kingdom of Westonia's history was always been successful. Also kingdom was one of the oldest kingdoms in the maze.

At the first times when the maze constructed, the Westonia dynasty founded their new kingdom and invited other dynasties to their kingdom.

After the Age of Construction, at the Age of Masters, Westonia started to grow its lands. This was due to their successful travelers and knights in the arena.

Age of Masters brought Westonia a golden age, increasing their wealth and power. Westonia was powerful and was able to claim the title "King of the Maze".

Many kings and kingdoms tried to achieve this title. But the masters didn't accept these claims and stopped every war in the maze about this title.

But the Age of Masters ended 100 years ago and a new age begun, Age of Kingdoms. The kingdoms started to claim more lands and started to train more units for war.

King of the Westonia was trying to bring the kingdom back to its golden age. King was thinking that the title King of the Maze could help them.

The king always wanted that title. But he never achieved this until his daughter brought a man who stood up against the Maze Dragon.

King was thinking the opportunities about the man who was in the clash of the Gold River and just after that who clashed with Maze Dragon. There was something interesting about this guy.

King asked to Edward,

"Who is that guy Edward?"

Edward answered, "Sir, I don't know it well. I just met with him at the Gold River merchants guild."

King was wanting to learn more about him, "So, he is from the Gold River."

Edward started to talk about the rumors he heard, "Well, I thought he is from Gold River. But then I heard something about him. Probably you heard it too."

"What is that?"

"As the people talk, some travelers found him near Gold River. I believe in a old castle."

The king was more interested now, "Old castle near Gold River? It is the first castle founded in the Maze."

"Really? I wasn't knowing that. Sorry about that."

The king asked the Arthur's words to Edward, "That guy told me that he doesn't remember anything."

"I don't know anything about it. He only knows his name." Edward answered.

"But there is something, isn't it?"

Edward told the most accurate information that he had, "Maze Dragon told his name. I don't know if the dragon heard from me or not."

The king looked to the Edward and, "Edward your family is in debt I believe."

Edward didn't want to talk, but not answering the king was disrespectful, "Yes, sir..."

He couldn't finish his words, he remembered how hard it was for them. "I have an opportunity for you."

Edward looked to the kings eyes, "I'm listening you sir."

The king turned his back and looked to Kingdom of Westonia's capital city. The city was huge and the wealth of the city could be seen from everywhere. Kingdom of Westonia's most powerful and important city was shining with it's houses, guilds, castles and palace of the King.

The king, "First of all, you won't tell anything to anyone."

"I won't"

"You have to go to the Dragon's Castle together with Arthur."

The king continued the talk with Edward while Arthur was trying to find something that fits well to him,

"Princess Vanessa, I can't find a good looking armor."

Vanessa was happy after these words, she smiled, "Did you just tell me princess?"

Arthur looked to Vanessa and, "You are really beautiful when you smile."

Vanessa froze and couldn't say anything.

Arthur,

"My Princess, are you okey?"

Vanessa understood that he was mocking with her, "Are you joking?"

Arthur answered, "Who knows?"

Vanessa was going to talk but then the shop's owner came next to them,

"Princess Vanessa, it's a pleasure to see you there. How can we help?"

Vanessa showed Arthur and, "This guy likes nothing. Show him something."

The owner understood the situation quickly, "Is that how desperate you are. But don't loose your hope. I have something really special for you sir..."

Arthur,

"Arthur."

Shop's owner wanted them to follow him, "Come with me please sir Arthur."

Shop's owner showed them an armor but Arthur didn't even look to it. He was looking to the sword in the wall,

"What is this?"

"It is a sword from the ancient war. It is a great masterpiece."

"Ancient war?"

"Yes when the kingdoms and empires clashed with each other a lot. I don't know anything about the ancient war but it was really destroying for the empires."

Vanessa,

"We are keeping them to remember our history."

Shop's owner,

"It is the sword of King Alfred, the King of the Maze."

Arthur was shocked to see the same patterns on the sword and on the iron door he first saw.
