18 Duel of Arthur and Andrew

Announcer of the arena started announcing the start of the duel that the people waiting for, "The people of the Westonia! Welcome to the duel of the two champions. One has stood against the Maze Dragon with a great courage and other one is the successful young knight of the Kingdom of Westonia. Today they will clash in the arena and the history will just remember the one who wins."

The audience started to cheer on the champions, the duel was about to begin.

Vanessa trained Arthur until the duel and Arthur started to regain his fighting experience.

But it wasn't just the fight experience that Arthur needs against Andrew.

Andrew was also a great magic user. That's why most of the people were believing that Andrew would win.

The arena was really huge with the audience circling it through. Royal family and some nobles were sitting in the best location of the arena.

But some of the nobles were not together with the royal family. They were the ones who was collecting the bets from all over the arena.

Knights of the Westonia on the other hand were everywhere in the arena. The people were excited to see the duel. This was just like the golden ages of the Westonia.

When the king entered to the arena, his servants announced him and all the people started to cheer on him.

The king Oliver stopped next to his arena throne and started speaking,

"The great people of the Westonia! Today is the day, that two warriors will fight to win. Today is the day, Kingdom of Westonia will see who is better once again. As the king of the Westonia, I order you to start the duel!"

The people started to cheer and shout for the duel to begun.

While the king was greeting his people, Vanessa was waiting two warriors to come out and show themselves,

"Idiots! They are really idiots."

She was really angry for both Arthur and Andrew for their meaningless fight.

Aurora started speaking,

"My lady, please don't get angry. We didn't even see the duel."

Vanessa angered even more, "Yes we didn't even see that! They will fight for what? This is nonsense! There is no point for them to be fighting!"

Barney started talking quickly to change the topic, "What a sunny day isn't it?"

Vanessa looked to Barney with a growing fire in her eyes.

Barney,

"Princess, I'm sorry."

After that, they heard the opening sound of the arena gates.

Andrew was the first one to enter to the arena. He looked to the audience and greet them with his looks.

Andrew was so popular between the knights but right now he became popular in the all Westonia.

Andrew's first goal was achieved and he had only one goal left, winning against the Arthur.

Andrew saw Arthur in front of him.

Andrew wasn't expecting to see Arthur, "You didn't run away."

"Why would I?"

Andrew started mocking with Arthur, "Do you really believe that you are in my level? If you are thinking like that you are going to learn a lesson that day."

Arthur spoke, "You speak a lot Andrew."

Andrew stopped speaking and waited for the duel to start.

Commander Richard started speaking,

"The people of Westonia! It is time for the duel to begin. It is time for two warriors to clash and for one of them to win! Andrew from the house of Iron Castle and Arthur from the Gold River start!"

Andrew started moving quickly after the commander spoke and prepared his sword to attack to the Arthur.

On the other hand Arthur was expecting a fast attack from Andrew. He took stance for blocking it.

Andrew passed near Arthur really fast that a small dust cloud appeared in the arena.

Andrew didn't look back and just stayed where he is before talking with Arthur.

Arthur was standing but with a cut in his arm.

Andrew shouted with a great excitement, "Do you understand me know Arthur? This is the difference between us."

Arthur turned to Andrew and spoke, "There are a lot of differences between us."

Andrew turned to the Arthur and started shouting,

"That's because I'm better than you!"

Arthur was disappointed to see Andrew didn't understand anything about the duel, "You don't understand me don't you?"

Andrew didn't even listen to him. He spelled a magic,

"Let my sword be my powerful ally in the battle, let my magic to be heard by my enemy. Iron Knight's magic, Glorious Sword."

Andrew attacked with his magic through the Arthur while Arthur was expecting him to attack.

That time Andrew wasn't fast and Arthur were knowing where he was gonna attack. He knew it, because he left an opening for Andrew to attack.

Andrew felt for it and attacked to him. Arthur easily blocked him with his sword. He couldn't believe to his eyes, that sword was too similar.

After clashing for a minute, Arthur pushed Andrew back.

Andrew looked to the royal family's lodge and shouted,

"Did you give your sword to that guy?"

Nobody talked from the lodge,

"Vanessa I'm telling to you! Did you give your sword to that freak?"

Arthur was angered this time, "Watch your words Andrew!"

Andrew started to become more furious, "How dare you talk? Maybe I should give you a lesson."

"You were going to give an another one, did you forget that easily?"

"Shut up! This is not acceptable for you to use a royal family member's sword."

The king spoke,

"It is my sword Andrew."

Andrew was shocked,

"Your majesty, why did you do that?"

"He is the one who talked with the dragon. Arthur proved himself as a powerful candidate for becoming a powerful knight of Westonia. You never asked what will happen if you loose did you Arthur? If you loose to the Andrew, you will join to Westonia's knights and serve to the kingdom."

Andrew shouted,

"You used me!"

"I'm the king, are you shouting to me? Finish this duel Andrew. If you are believing that you are stronger than him it must be easy for you. But maybe you are a weakling who doesn't even win against a man that doesn't remember any magic at all."

Andrew was angry. He tried to be the best knight for all this time but he was realizing that he was just a pawn in the chessboard.

Arthur spoke,

"Do you understand me know? He played with both of us."

Andrew shouted,

"Shut up! I'm not done yet. I will win this duel and prove that I'm going to be the best knight."

"Do you even believe to that you idiot? You don't become the best by winning duels, you become the best by earning it."

"Shut the fuck up!"

Andrew was angry, he wasn't thinking well.

Andrew,

"I'm going to prove that. I'm going to prove that I'm stronger than you. I'm going to prove that I'm…"

"That's enough, if you want to show you are better than me, come at me!"

Andrew looked to Arthur. This was the first time Andrew seriously listened Arthur.

Andrew took a stance for his sword not to be seen by Arthur. Andrew was going to take Arthur's fighting style seriously this time. He was preparing two spells, the first one was for clashing with him.

He started running towards Arthur and he used a magic,

"Knight's Bravery."

Andrew started moving faster and clashing even faster than that.

Arthur was trying to block the attacks and looking for an opening but it was impossible for him to do that.

While they were fighting with each other audience were excited and the people were shouting and cheering on them.

Andrew was attacking to Arthur even the Arthur was blocking the incoming attack.

He was using different techniques to attack Arthur, sometimes he was just swinging his sword with a right stance and sometimes he was spinning and jumping

After ten minutes Arthur was tired and he was wounded a lot.

Arthur,

"You really are a great knight."

Andrew,

"You are still standing. I wasn't expecting that. But since you surprised me before, I thought that you can do the same again. I have a gift for you Arthur."

Andrew used his second magic.

After that the ground blasted and a big dust cloud appeared.

The audience stopped shouting and waited for outcome of the battle.

Andrew was standing and he just used one of his most powerful magics.

Vanessa shouted to his father,

"Why did you do that? I was going to convince him for being my knight. It is your fault."

She was angry and her powerful magic could be felt from every people in the lodge.

The king was going to spoke but Andrew shouted,

"Did you see that my king! I told you that I'm better! I will be the best…"

Andrew stopped talking because he felt a magic in the arena.

While the dust cloud was going away from the arena, he saw someone coming towards him.

It was Arthur, and he remembered how to use his magic after seeing the magic of Andrew.
