12 Arthur vs Maze Dragon

Vanessa was looking to the dragon with terrified eyes. She wasn't expecting the dragon to come to their scouting location, it couldn't be happening.

Vanessa was the youngest child of the king. While her siblings was running from achievement to achievement, she was the only one to stay behind.

She wanted to gain a war, make a name as a commander to show the people that she is a great ruler.

But right now, the dragon was destroying all of her dreams. She won't be able to win the war if the dragon was still standing in the sky.

Vanessa knew many things about the dragons, she could make a plan and attack to the dragon.

Maze Dragon was bigger than other dragons. Nobody knew nothing about the Maze Dragon. But the dragon was always learning something about the people.

One of the Forgotten Masters wrote,

"The Dragon of the Maze, a powerful dragon which only aims for collecting gold and information."

This was the Maze Dragon and fighting was really hard if you didn't know anything about the dragon.

Vanessa realized one person who was standing at the ground and looking to the dragon. He was bleeding and tired.

Vanessa was shocked. Who was that man? Why was he standing right there and looking to the dragon? Was he lost his mind?

Suddenly the dragon started diving to the ground, Vanessa thought to save the man. But he was too far from them.

The dragon attacked and flew again. At the place that got hit by the fire breath of the Maze Dragon, there was nothing but the man left. He was still standing and looking to the sky. Aurora,

"Is that a joke? Is that guy standing against the Maze Dragon?"

Barney,

"If he know how to fight this won't be a problem. But there are too few people in the maze that can stand against this power."

Aurora,

"My princess we should retreat. If our enemy attacks to our lands, Commander Richard will need our help."

Vanessa didn't approve Aurora this time, "What do you mean Aurora? Can't you see one of my people is being attacked by the dragon? How could I claim to be the queen, if I let that man to be hit by the dragon?"

Barney started shouting,

"Are you mad? Even your father would've run if he faced with that monster!"

Vanessa spoke with a confidence, "I'm not my father."

Vanessa got off her horse and started running. She was lightening the surface that she is passing like a queen that is defending her country, like a legend that is running for bravery and the courage. She took a stance while running, prepared her sword and saw the dragon coming towards her. So that was it, whether she was going to be a legend or lose the fight.

She was ready to jump and use her magic to attack the dragon that is coming towards her. She started shouting,

"Come to me dragon! Come and face with the power of the Westonia family! I'll show you the true power of my people."

The Maze Dragon prepared to use the fire breath while Vanessa was preparing her strike.

Arthur,

"I'm your enemy, nobody else is."

He suddenly appeared in front of Vanessa and jumped just like Vanessa planned to attack the dragon.

He was thanking to Elizabeth for giving this magical sword that collects opponent's magic and reuses it against the enemy.

At first he got hit hard, the dragon wasn't fighting seriously. He still didn't know if the dragon is serious or not.

The dragon was laughing to him always and was speaking about how weak he is. Arthur was trying to understand the swords working style.

He was remembering nothing. But his fighting experience was living in movements. He was feeling that something is missing in his movements. But he wasn't sure what it is.

The Dragon,

"Is that all you got Arthur? Attacking to me from up."

Arthur,

"Of course not."

Arthur used magical sword's power to push himself to the dragon. He wasn't knowing how he is using the sword. Surely he was using it by his instincts.

Arthur prepared his sword for landing a hit to the dragon. His speed was enough right know to land a hit, he was feeling that. But on the other hand his mind didn't know what he is doing.

Vanessa saw a big fire magic spelled in front of her, at the top of the dragon. She first thought the dragon attacked to the man. But it was the man who attacked.

Vanessa couldn't believe to her eyes. Who was that guy? Why was he going so far?

Vanessa,

"What are you doing? You didn't even have an armor or a powerful sword. You don't have a chance. Get out my way and I will..."

"Getting out from your way? This is my battle, don't interfere. It is not the sword what makes us warriors."

"What? Are you a poet or something? What a fancy words are they."

Arthur thought on his mind,

"What am I telling, what am I doing? This is a fucking fire breathing dragon. Do I even a chance against it?"

While he was thinking the dragon shouted,

"You arrogant humans have a time to talk! So you have a word Arthur don't you? If you have time to talk, the fight is over."

"You damn dragon, do you believe you can get me down?"

"Hahaha! Even she doesn't believe you to win."

"Why do I care her words? But I'll tell you something. Sometimes talking made for gaining some time. You are an idiot."

"Come at me than you fool! Come and see the difference between our powers!"

Arthur noticed Vanessa moving towards the dragon. Wasn't she listening him?

Vanessa used her sword to attack but realized the dragon changed location. She had to make a new plan to attack.

But while she was thinking all these dragon breathed fire to her. She blocked it and used her magic to land a hit on the dragon.

The Maze Dragon was angered more.

Arthur,

"Shouldn't you be looking for me?"

Arthur was on the back of the dragon, there was no way for dragon to stop the attack. Arthur used the magical sword to land a hit before jumping and attacking to the dragon again.

After getting hit by two times, dragon breathed fire to Arthur.

Before the dragon breathed the fire to Arthur, Arthur used magical sword to push himself back.

Arthur used the magical sword's last magic to countering it with a new fire breath.

Arthur was getting wounded and his magical sword was reaching to it's limits.

The Dragon,

"Will you give up and beg for mercy?"

"The Dragon, I don't know what you are or who you are. But there is one thing, I'm feeling that I must clash with you right here, right now."

"It looks like our feelings are same. Hahaha!"

The Maze Dragon spelled a magic,

"Dragon's Magic, Golden Fire Breath of the Maze Dragon."

He breathed a fire that is more powerful, more lighter than the other fires that he breathed before.

Arthur took a stance with an instinct, blocked the attack. There was a big sound of a blast followed by a dust cloud. The dragon hit Arthur with a magic that even the dragon didn't used for a long time.

Aurora,

"Did the dragon used a magic? Who is that guy? Why the dragon is fighting so much? And also the dragon is talking with him. This is something unusual."

After the dust is being faded away, Arthur was lying on the ground and his sword was broken.

Vanessa shouted,

"Let him go!"

The Dragon looked to Vanessa, she wasn't expecting the dragon to talk with her but the dragon,

"Where is your newest enemy, the attackers of the Westios and burglars of my treasury?"

Vanessa was shocked,

"What are you telling me?"

"Don't waste my time Princess Vanessa, tell me where they are."

The Maze Dragon was knowing her. She was feeling so proud.

"Don't you hear me? Tell me where they are."

"Why did you fought with him?"

The Maze Dragon,

"You are making me angry! Tell me their location. Their commander have something that belongs to me."

As Vanessa told the details the Maze Dragon flew,

The Dragon,

"It's been a long time. We will meet again Arthur."
