"May I sell this Sun Bone?"

"That would be 4000 Sol…"

"Eh?"

I was able to sell the Sun Bone, and it cost only 4000 sol. I thought it would be higher than I expected but that's really unfortunate.

That doesn't matter for now. What I need is food, and I am starving to death not eating in one day.

But anyway, now that my problem is gone, I can finally relax for a little bit longer.

While resting, I read the guidebook and the information of this kingdom. In this book, there's history, map, and kingdom's rule.

In history, it is said that this kingdom was established 2300 years ago. The name of this nation is Vesperum. The Kingdom of Vesperum is ruled by the current king named Lux Vesperum III. He was crowned twenty years ago and he is the 72nd king.

There are many things I can read, but I don't really care about its history, what I really care is obtaining that spirit magic stone.

This Spirit Magic Stone is located in the Demon Forest, and I am still miles away before I reach that place. If I only have horse, it would have been easy for me to get there.

Right now, I am currently finding a place where I could buy protective gear that has enchantment.

This clothing that I am wearing is actually enchanted.

I am wearing a white skirt and shirt with black linings, on my feet, I am wearing a black boots and white socks.

Its enchantment is: "Force Resistance" – resists any force attacks, "Fire Resistance" – resists fire attacks and other flame related, and "Healing" – heals my injury by 5% each hour. On my foot, its enchantment is: "Swift" – running speed is increased by 10%.

Few hours of finding, I finally found the store. They sell magnificint armors and sword and shield. But those aren't what I am finding for.

I asked the seller if they have enchanted clothings.

"Can I ask for something? Do you have an enchanted clothing, you can measure my body if you want."

"Yes we have, but we don't need to measure your body. The enchanted clothing you ask for costs 2000 Sol. The enchantments are: 40% Damage Resistance, 30% Attack Damage, and 10% Healing each hour."

This set of clothing is brilliantly designed. It also has a coat enchanted with additional 10% damage resistance, no wonder it's very expensive.

"Okay, I'll take that."

"Thank you, you can change inside, come on here."

The seller said that there is actually much more powerful clothing that costs 15000 Sol. Its price is crazy and I guess it has powerful enchantments.

After buying what I need, I went outside and prepare for my next travel, it would take me a two days before I reach the other gate.

Since it's not the right time yet, it's actually night time. I might as well stay and sleep at tavern for the rest of the night.

This night, there's celebration that is happening just a few meters away from this tavern. I can hear their loud voices and I cannot sleep because of it.

Because of loud noises, I decided to get up and go outside to see what's going on there.

I walked outside in the middle of a night to see what those noises were all about.

And when I get there…

They dance, sing, with the fire on their hand. They also putting their talent on the show. They have incredible magical powers when I saw the brightness color of their eyes.

"I wish… I have magic." Unconsciously said.

By using magic, they were able to create amazing display on the sky. It's like a fireworks but they don't make explosive sounds, instead they can draw like a real artist upon the sky.

Since they were celebrating, I stayed there longer and watch the celebration until they finish.

The celebration lasts until before the sun rises. I fell asleep, and I can't remember when.

But the joy of having magical powers makes me jealous, I was shedding a tear while watching those people who uses magic for happiness. But that doesn't mean I feel down. I can still obtain a magical powers from a spirit magic stone.

My motivation arises after all of that, I go back to the tavern to get my belongings and continue my journey.

As I said, it will take two days before I reach the other gate of this kingdom. But I really want to get there faster by using a vehicle which could only take half a day before I reach that gate on the other side.

With that on mind, I ask the owner of the tavern if there is a public transportation.

She told me that there is, and it is located just a few distance away from this place. She told which direction or path I should walk until I reach the public transportation.

And when I get there, there are bunch of carriage and horses waiting for the commuter.

I chose to ride with horse only, 'cause I think it's much faster if I went for that.

The fare costs 200 Sol from this place to the other gate.

Before I decided to go with the horse, something had happened. Some people from supreme government came to see the situation in this place.

They were doing some inspections and confiscation.

People who tries to increase the minimum fare will get arrested. People who put their deadly weapons out will be confiscated and arrested. People who don't follow the sense of equity, the license will be taken away.

For now, it seems, there's no crime detected.

"Well, I guess it's good then."

But for some reason, I feel odd about the atmosphere they created. It seems this people are staring furiously to the people who did the tour of duty. Not that I care honestly. But unfortunately, after they left, the people who were all inspected suddenly bring there mood down.

"Well, sorry kid… You have to come next time."

"Wha… what?!"

Well, that's that. This is really weird, I wonder why they started to act like that. Now I came here just for nothing.

"Damn!"

"I guess there's no choice but to wait for them to come back."
