14 Completing the first Quest
Night time is here, Deimos races in between trees looking for a demon lion. Her eyes adjusted to the dark, scanning the surroundings. She almost missed it but luckily she spotted a demon lion. Not even trying to hide her presence apart from her invisibility she dashes over to the beast and gives it a high five on the forehead.
Slamming directly into the creature's skull at full force, it's head slams into the ground. Deimos removes her invisibility allowing the demon lion to see her, she takes a step backwards with a smirk on her face.
Looking at the demon lion which is petrified out of fear she loudly announces to the forest "Call for your friends buddy, see what they can do against me"
This demon lion whimpered and backed away into a tree. It couldn't understand the monster in front of it or it's taunts. But all it knew was that it felt a terrifying aura from this two legged thing. One that far outclassed itself.
Seeing this reaction from the creature Deimos realizes the title [Deimos Incarnation of Terror] must be affecting the creature. It was too scared to move once she displayed her power. Standing up after seeing this demon lion standing still like a statue hoping to go unnoticed, she keeps the creatures guard up with a mirage and invisibility slips onto its back and breaks its neck.

Pitiful state or not she needs to finish her quest. Ripping the light red crystal from the creature's corpse and storing it at her house, she once again goes searching for a demon lion. This time when she spots it she messes with it letting it back her into a corner to make it think it has a chance. Then she hurts it pretty badly, making it call for help.
Once it called out to other demon lions for help, Deimos ruthlessly slaughters it. After she killed it she made a mirage that looked like a party of 4 medieval fantasy adventurers killed it with great difficulty and they are trying to keep a party member alive.
After waiting for about 2-5 minutes around 4 demon lions assembled, looking around at the peculiar creatures which killed their pack member. Seeing they had trouble with only one demon lion they all circle around the creatures closing off any escape routes, and start to close in on them.
Deimos observed the demon lions getting Into a formation. They separated themselves making her job much easier. While they were getting into position, Deimos followed one of the demon lions. Right before the others attacked the group of mirages she sneak attacks and breaks its neck.

'One shot…. One kill' making a gun with her fingers and blowing imaginary smoke off the barrel she stays invisible and approaches the trio of demon lions.
After this she only needs three more kills! Swiftly dashing over, she kills another demon lion before it can react to the sound it heard. Deimos appears out of thin air on top of the demon lion's broken neck. With a glance the other demon lions let out a powerful roar and growl.

Both become terrified, but they persist because they still have another demon lion with them helping their confidence. Sticking together they stand their ground waiting for Deimos to attack. They noticed the mirages of humans disappeared. Not that they know what a human is.
The demon lions feel like something is off about the creature in front of them. Quickly Deimos dashes at the beasts and goes for a blow on the demon lion on the right. Both demon lions lunge to attack her.
Their attacks pass through her without making contact as the demon lion on the left gets its head slammed into the ground. Deimos, who intentionally made herself visible until she attacked. Where she would replace herself with a mirage and go for a different target. Swiftly makes her way on top of the left side demon lion.
She gets on its back after concussing it and she snaps this one's neck too. 'These monsters are too easy to kill.... I should find people sooner or later, or I could just train 24/7 for 10 years straight.... either works'

Thinking to herself while blitzing the final demon lion with 10 mirage clones of herself, she killed all 4 that came to aid the first one. She also killed the first one that was completely petrified with fear, which had to have had low willpower. Deimos only needed 2 more demon lion kills to finish her quest.

After prowling the area, she kills 2 more demon lions. Which are seemingly all the remaining ones in the area..... within a week she cleared out a pack of 12 demon lions. Removing all the crystals from each corpse she makes her way back to her home.

Putting all the crystals away she opens the System menu.

Leaving the achievement points for later, Deimos takes out the Weapon Upgrade card. After that she looks at the description and instructions. The card does exactly as it says, it upgrades the weapon in a random way at a random efficiency. Everything about it will get better though.
To use it she placed it on her gauntlets and imagined it upgrading them. The card melted into the gauntlets and they shrunk in size, to look kind of like a red glove covered in steel plates. Putting them on Deimos doesn't know how these are still called gauntlets.
Once on, she expects them to be hard to move in, but the metal both feels as hard as steel but incredibly flexible when worn. She makes a fist to get ready to punch with it, and out of nowhere in between the knuckles blades expand.
Deimos realizes that the weapon upgrade card isn't so simple. Checking the description of the upgraded bronze spiked gauntlets, they now have a different name. "Bladed Technosteel brawler gauntlets".
Deimos recalls them into her inventory, because she needs to cultivate now. Getting better at her cultivation technique is a must so now that she finished her quest and used one of the rewards , she needed to get training.
Deimos then sits down in a lotus position to cultivate, aligning the mind body and soul. According to the technique she needs to infuse her bones, daintain, and spirit with fate Qi all at once for the first layer. Issue being she has only ever manipulated direction and properties of Qi in the air.
She has some good experience with moving qi but she can't find any fate Qi in the area, but she knows it's there because it gathers around those with good luck. She knows it can only be sensed with immense concentration. That must be the reason why.
Concentrating on differentiating all the different types of qi in the air looking for fate qi.
