Max Miller, a sixteen-year-old freshman at McDavis High school. He comes from an average family with loving parents Suzie a nurse at the hospital his mother and Smith his dad an office worker and even though their family is average they're happy with what they have. Max has spiky rebellious black hair and yellow eyes quite the unusual color though it has a certain charm to it and he would've been considered a handsome and popular guy if you ask someone who doesn't know him but he isn't why you ask, well,

"Come ooooon seriously NOT THE CLIFF HANGER AGAIN aaarrgghh, I should probably look for another novel to read" says our dear MC max as he was walking on the side of the streets about to cross it while he was checking his phone but while he's like that he didn't notice a truck coming from the other side of the road.

Thankfully though the truck driver honked at him so he didn't get ran over but out of fright of the loudness of the honk of the truck he threw his phone on the road and by instinct he went after it and picked it up but before he can celebrate the fact that the screen didn't crack he saw the frightened face of the driver and the truck a meter away from him that was when everything went black.
