35 Opening Up

The Misfit Toys had prepared a feast that morning for breakfast. Most of them hadn't eaten anything the day before so they all were drooling as Lyra and Orion brought out plate after plate of food. Once everything was ready the guild dug in like wild animals.

Zed was the most surprised. He had been being fed and given water by them as a captive but it didn't compare to how good this food tasted and the drinks were simply heavenly. It was clear to him that they had been giving him the absolute basics before. He didn't hold himself back and joined in as they all destroyed the food before them.

Once the group had eaten their fill Mikax leaned back in his chair. "Now that everyone is done we can get started with the real work. Before that, though all non-guild members must leave as what I'm about to disclose will be private."
