Chapter 70 Helpless in my whole life

The next day, Luna woke up in Graham's embrace and she grinned widely. How she had been wishing to wake up like this every morning. She slowly detached from him not wanting to wake him up. She went to shower and after, went to Dylan's room but found him still sleeping.

Going to the kitchen, she started preparing breakfast when she heard her phone ringing. On checking, it was Bella. "Hey girl, how is our celebrity boyfriend?" asked Bella from the other side. Luna couldn't help but laugh at her jokes," He's fine but still sleeping. I wanted to call you earlier. I am going to Blue City today evening. Will you come by today, I miss you."

"You're moving to Blue City Luna? How could you?" she exclaimed. "No, not permanently. We are coming back next week. I'm waiting for you," she said and hung up.

A while later, Graham came out of the bedroom and went to Dylan's room. They came back together and sat at the dining table where Luna was organising breakfast.

"Good morning. How did you both sleep?" she asked them. "Good. Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" Graham asked. "I didn't want to disturb you." They began eating breakfast.

"When we come back, we are moving to my house," he said. "Why? Isn't this place fine?" she asked. "It's fine but I don't like seeing you do anything. The Villa can accommodate maids so it's favourable." "Okay. But Bella can come with us right?" "Of course. She is free to come." "Okay that's good. I will call Ethan and inform him about my resignation." Graham nodded in approval. After breakfast, Graham left with Dylan to go and check on his company that was in Sun City leaving Luna home. She called Ethan and explained to him about her resignation and he said," It's fine Luna. I knew that he couldn't let you work for me." "Thank for being understanding and being a great boss. Let me hope we are still friends." "Of course. He can't change that. At least not on my side."

By the time Luna called, Ethan was at office with Alex and he heard the whole conversation. When Ethan hung up, he said," It seems my suspicions were true. He knows." "What are you going to do now?" asked Alex. Ethan thought for a moment before saying," I don't know. I've never been this helpless in my whole life." Alex gave it a thought and said," I think he's not up to anything for now." "It doesn't make things better."

Bella reached and the two best friends hugged each other tightly before sitting at the couch. They had a lot of things to catch up on. "So tell me, where's our celebrity boyfriend?" "He went out with Dylan to check on some things. You have dark circles, you don't sleep well?" asked Luna worriedly "How can I sleep when Ethan sneaks in my room every night and gives me sleepless nights," complained Bella and Luna blushed hard. "So how did things turn out like this between you two?" asked Luna. Bella narrated each and everything that happened. "I'm so happy for you. You're officially dating!!!" exclaimed Luna. "Yeah I'm so happy. He treats me really well, I didn't know that he could be this sweet. I want to know each and everything that happened the moment you landed in Blue City."

It was Luna's turn to narrate all that happened in Blue City and how Graham found out about everything. Bella's mouth parted in disbelief.

"That b*tch Ciara. I'm so happy that her plan backfired on her. And I'm glad that you forgot that diary or else he wouldn't have found out."

"Yeah. And BTW we are going to move to Graham's house when we come back from Blue City. I want you to come with us." "Ohh. I will talk to Ethan about it. But I'll definitely come with you. But I'm really wondering something. Did you see the way Ethan and Graham glared at each other in the hospital?"

"Yes. They don't seem to be fond of each other. Graham even told me to resign from my job." Bella's eyes widened in disbelief before asking," How? Why did he do that?" "I don't know. He doesn't like me to work for him."

"Maybe because he's insecure. He might be jealous," said Bella. "I don't think so. He knows you two are dating." "Then ask him. I asked Ethan and he told me that he didn't have anything against him. I honestly wish they could get along. Just imagine how it could be when we go on vacation with our men. All so handsome and rich."

"I will ask him and see," said Luna.

The two friends talked about a number of things as Bella helped Luna in packing the things that they are taking with them.
