51 Chapter 51 The most unexpected news

Back in Blue City, Graham was sleeping when he saw a woman with waist length wavy blonde hair. She was in a long red dress standing with her back facing him. The dress hugged her petite figure showing all her curves. She slowly turned to look at him but before he could see her face, he was woken up by the doctor telling him that it was time for his therapy. It had been two months since Graham was undergoing his therapy and by now he could stand on his own and take a few steps without any support. He had asked his family to leave the hospital and let him take care of himself. They would just visit him to check how he was.

Unknown to him, his mother was already making wedding preparations.

After the session, Vikram arrived and asked," How are you feeling?" "Good. Did you get the evidence?" asked Graham. "Yes everything is set. He doesn't know anything yet," he said. "That's good," said Graham. "Are you ready to face the world?" asked Vikram. "Of course. Is it going to be big?" asked Graham. "Absolutely. Your mother is preparing something big. She's planning to make a proper engagement for you two on that ball," he said. Vikram had taken time and explained everything about Graham's past life to him excluding Ciara and Luna. He didn't want to offend his mother so didn't hint on either of them.

In the evening, Ciara came to visit him. She was very excited when she heard the news about their engagement at the grand ball that the Cullens have prepared to announce his come back. She found him staring at the ceiling and he appeared to be in deep thoughts. She came and pecked his lips then pulled away immediately. He looked at her expressionlessly. "How are you? I missed you so much," she said. "Am good. Why are you here?" he asked. "I missed you of course. Anyway I came to deliver the good news to you. We are having a proper engagement on your welcoming party and after a week we shall get married," she said. "I'm not getting married until I regain my memory Ciara," he said. Ciara was dumbfounded,"W-why? We don't know when it will return. That can wait Graham." "No. I'm not getting married unless I'm sure." Ciara took a deep breath to calm herself down before saying," Okay. We shall postpone the wedding then. We shall wait after the engagement." "The engagement shall have to wait too." "What?" she whispered and her eyes glistened with tears. "I need time to be sure," he said and she stood up in rage. "What are you not sure about?" she yelled. His eyes narrowed and he said," Hey watch your tone."

She realized that she was going to lose her cool. She grabbed her handbag and stormed out of the room. Just when she thought that she finally had him. She immediately drove to the Cullen mansion to report him to his mother. On reaching, she narrated each and everything that happened. Rebecca had expected this to happen. She said," Don't worry, I have a plan." Ciara raised her eyebrows in question. She whispered something to her and she nodded while grinning widely. "Don't worry. After that, he will have to agree." The next days, Rebecca was busy with the preparations of Graham's party. She couldn't wait to tell the world that her son was okay now. She wanted everything to be perfect.

On the other side of Sun City, Luna was also in preparation of Dylan's second birthday. She had decided to celebrate his birthday with the kids in the orphanage where she grew. Though it was a small thing, she wanted it to be perfect for him. She was shopping a lot of things especially for him. After three months, she was done with everything and were only waiting for the day. Only a few weeks were remaining.

Finally, Dylan's birthday reached. Early in the morning, she was packing their bags in a hurry to leave for the orphanage. They were running late and they had a lot of things to do. Dylan was already dressed sitting on the couch waiting for them. Bella came out from her room dressed and walked towards the TV to switch it off so that she and Dylan could head outside when a certain news heading caught her attention. "THE LEGENDARY GRAHAM CULLEN FINALLY COMES BACK TO LIFE. THE CULLENS ORGANISE A GRAND BALL TO CELEBRATE AND WELCOME HIM." Bella could not believe what she saw but all she heard next was a sound of glasses shattering on the floor and turned only to find Luna standing right behind her staring at the television rooted in her place with her hands trembling. It seemed Luna was holding a flower vase when she saw that heading on the screen. She had received the most unexpected news of her life.
