6 The beast: Part two

From a beast to a human, he was now standing in front of me. His body was fully naked, and I was fighting the urge to have my eyes roaming around his body. I decided to freeze my eyes in front of his which wasn't totally a good idea.

Well, his eyes were to most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, keen as a knife that was tearing away all the guard I was having. I was defenseless in front of his perfectness, still, I wasn't intending to show weakness.

I stand still like a solid rock waiting for what coming next while deep inside I was wondering if my end will be by the hand of such a gorgeous creature.

Giving to the fact that he killed all the guards that were guarding me, I concluded that I'm the next on his list.

Still, I was feeling safe by his side, like he's the one that could never hurt me. I never felt the same by anyone's side but for my father's, the one I truly love and respect. Now, I was feeling the same for a stranger beast that was enjoying killing my own people.

His next move was something I've never expected to happen. He got closer and closer toward me, then his breath got steady on the verge of my neck causing my breath to quicken. His warm lips moved from my neck to my ears as he whispered.

"Mine!"

One small word was the only thing he needed to turn my world upside down. Just by then, the same sound I've heard before started repeating.

The sound of his bones elongating and changing shape. I've watched his skin rupturing and tearing while getting covered with black fur, his teeth changing into fangs while claws replaced his fingers.

Gone the human that was standing before me, I was now facing his beast by now.

Well, his beast was as gorges as his human. I've always learned that vampires are the best-looking creature, never thought even for one second that I might meet such a gleaming shapeshifter.

My heart started tearing apart as I finally was able to notice what he was up to, he was leaving. I wanted to stop him, to ask him to stay even for one single moment, but I wasn't able to say any other word. I was out of speech, and I wasn't even acknowledging what was happening to me.

As the beast was running far away from me, my soul felts like leaving my body. I wasn't knowing what was happening to me, neither liking it.

I fell on my knees not being able to act strong anymore, tears started running out of my ears. Only then, when my gift decided to do me a favor

A gleaming light blinded me, as the set where I was setting wasn't the same anymore. I wasn't between vampire's bodies anymore. Instead, I was in a vast forest surrounded by the shiny beautiful sun.

In front of me, there was a cliff, in its headstand two young people holding each other's hands while facing me with their backs. I pulled myself closer while trying to take a look at the cute couple in front of me.

When I was near to both of them, the female turn to face me. To my surprise, the female was a different version of me, a freer version of me with different eye color.

I faced me, then smile at me while not leaving the man I was holding hand with. Afterward, I change to my vampire's eyes which weren't green anymore, instead, they were purple.

Well, this wasn't the only unusual thing about my vision, the man I was holding a hand-to-hand with was the same wolf boy with more mature features. My heart rejoices while I came to learn that I'll be meeting the wolf boy again.

When I was brought back to reality it was daytime, the corps of the dead vampires next to me were all turn into ashes. You might wonder why I'm not turning into ashes like any other vampire. Well, I'm a half human – half vampire, the reason I can enjoy the lights, unlike my kind.

I stood up trying to find my way down to the hidden part of the palace. On my way, I came to meet some human maid trying to clean the horror of the battle that had a place here the previous night. The poor humans need to clean all the mess before that the visitors came to view.

Though human calls it castle, the chambered is actually one of the few palaces occupied by us – vampires'. It is located in France, one of the human's favorite places to visit. Of course, it would, this palace has one of the fairest views you might ever encounter. Human even shot a film in here that I do recall was called "Ever After", or something like that.

When I reached our hidden part from the palace, and as I was ready to open the secret door to our underworld, my arm was grabbed by guess who? Aeron.

"Daytime walker?" He asked, and I pulled my arm from his grab before I answered him.

"I'm a half-vampire / half-human!"

"Interesting!" He added while I pushed through him as I get inside of the under palace. I've had a feeling that it was going to be the last time for me in here. My father wouldn't allow me to have another night after the last attack, he's very cautious when it comes to my security. After all, I'm his only offspring.

Lost in my thoughts I was when Aeron decided to speak again.

"What are you thinking about?"

Of course, I would've found his attemption of creating a conversation as a cute act, if of course, I wasn't about to face my death a while ago because of him leaving me alone.

After fighting against my demons, I ended up deciding to ignore his attemption.

"You know! You're way too old for such games, little Princess. I know I shouldn't have let you alone during the attack, still nothing happened to you. You're still fine, and good-looking."

His tone was a bit rude and much disrespectful causing me to snap at him.

"You better watch it when you speak to me, I'm not like the common vampires you're familiar with. I'm Tiana Dunkan, Princess of all vampires' including you, and soon to be you're Queen. You're disrespect won't be forgiving for the next time, add it to the fact of not being able to fully your duty of protecting a Royalty at all costs. All sorts of respect I used to have for you are gone, and it's only after one day of our meeting."

With that, I left him while moving right away toward my room.
