Dreya

She moved back in fright, "who are you?" she asked.

"my name is Dreya. Your father sent me to rescue you."

"my father?"

"Yes, Mr Dustin Shields."

"He sent you to rescue me?"

"Yes, he is very worried about you."

"How did you suddenly appear out of nowhere?" Ava asked

"I am a witch." Dreya answered. 

"Like Evena?"

"Yes, like Evena. We have to leave before the wards are reinforced." Dreya told her, his voice carried a tinge of urgency.

"But, I can't just leave."

Dreya looked at her like she was a fool.

"If you remain here, you will be punished severely or worse even killed." he told her.

Ava was conflicted, what if Ryder changed his mind and believed her and by that time she was already gone? But what if Ryder didn't believe her and she was punished?

Dreya bent down to meet her eyes,"Ava, please trust me, your life is in danger."

"How do I trust you?" she asked.
