20 SYDNEY HAS TO SAVE THEM

Sydney's pov..........

I kept having this strange premonition that something terrible was happening back in Axel's home. But if something was really wrong,then Hunter would have definitely told me when he last visited...... Maybe I was just overthinking things or I was just missing them. Just then,I heard a knock on my door and I rushed to open it.

"Hunter....." But my smile faded when I realized that it wasn't Hunter at the door.

A very familiar figure stood in front of me and frowned at me "Why does it seem like you are not happy to see us?".

"Seems like she was not expecting us but someone else" The male added coming in view from behind the feminine figure.

I grabbed the both of my wonderful twin cousins Kia and Kiera on their neck for a big hug "Don't be so silly the both of you....am overjoyed to see you".

Kai raised his brows uncertain "Well then....I guess we were wrong" And they fully entered the house.

Now for a formal introduction:Kai and Kiera were both hybrids,Kia was a half vampire and a half Jinn while Kiera was a half vampire and a half Soothsayer{pretty combination huh!}. Kai was strict,clever,serious and straightforward while Kiera was sweet,childish,sincere and fun to be around.

"You guys didn't tell me that you were coming over" I scolded.

Kai sat comfortably on one of the couches,crossing his legs "Well what can I say,we wanted to surprise you".

Kiera beamed happily "Yes and looks like it worked".

I sat on the arm of the couch Kiera was sitted "So you guys finally decided to come spend summer holiday with us here huh?".

Kai dropped the flower vase he was busy admiring "Yeah,and we also came here to attend your wedding ceremony".

My smile suddenly fell "Ohh...yeah,my wedding".

Kiera also stopped smiling "What happened....you don't look so happy about it".

I quickly shook my head and masked my unhappiness "No.....No,am thrilled".

"So what's the name of your soon to be vampire groom" Kai suddenly asked.

"Beck.....why do you ask".

He took a bite from a red apple that was now in his hands "Nothing".

Kiera frowned "Come on Kai,stop teasing the poor girl".

Kai raised his arms innocently "I was not teasing her Kiera,but I can't help but wonder.....Sydney heard a knock on her door,we were actually the ones knocking but she did not know that. I expected her to call Beck's name when she opened the door because a female vampire should always be excited to see her soon-to-be vampire spouse but instead.....Sydney ended up calling another guy's name,HUNTER,I think that was the name....and I can't help but wonder who he is".

I quickly shook my head "No it's not what you think....Hunter is just a good friend of mine".

Kai leaned back on his couch and closed his eyes "Good friend huh!...how nice" He teased.

My cheeks flushed red out of embarrassment "He already has a mate Kai and he is an Omega".

Kai opened his eyes and puffed "A werewolf you say.....such pathetic creatures".

I snapped at him "They are not pathetic at all....they are sweet and nice creatures with a very kind heart".

Kiera shifted till she was very close to me "Come on,tell us who he is".

I raised my brows "What....what do you mean".

She grinned "Ohh come on princess,am not a fool.....You have an eye for one of the creatures of the night so spill it out".

I sighed and mingled with my fingers "His name is Alpha Axel".

The half eaten apple in Kai's hand fell and his eyes widened "Wait.....What....do you mean to say you are in love with the Alpha Lord Axel".

I nodded "Yeah".

He stared at me for a while before he leaned back on his couch and picked up a fresh red apple to eat "Wow....babe that's bongas".

I looked at him surprised "Bonga?....I thought you were gonna tell me that am crazy and scold me against such".

He smirked and used his tongue to trace his very sharp vampire canines "You're crazy cousin,but what can I do...." He shrugged "It's your choice after all.... Beck head is definately gonna end up on a stake" And he chuckled lightly.

Kiera shook her head at her brother's choice of words "What he is trying to say is that he is not a fan of Beck boy and neither am i....if you really love someone else then go for it before it becomes too late".

I scrubbed my face with my palm "That's the problem Kiera...he doesn't love me....he doesn't want me either".

She leaned forward "We're listening".

So I told them the whole story,everything and I did not bother to omit any single details because I knew that I could trust them with my whole life and soul.

Kiera put her hands on her chin thinking deeply before she smiled "Well there might be something we can do to change the mentality of your Alpha".

Just then, a bright light shone in the room and when the light went out,there stood Hunter,Sia and a strange looking girl that I have ever seen in my life.

I ran to hug him "HUNTERRR!!!! I knew you would come back".

"Hello Sydney" He replied so coldly that I couldn't help but be surprised.

Kiera walked up to meet him smiling so suspiciously "Hello Hunter".

Hunter raised his brows "Hello...and you are....

"Kiera,Sydney's cousin".

Hunter nodded "Okay... it's nice to meet you Kiera".

She suddenly hugged him tightly "There is no need to be so formal about it, you're Sydney's friend and am her cousin....so let's just get to know each other more".

He released himself from her grip and composed himself "Su...sure".

"You know,I remember telling you that he already has a mate" I went over to whisper to her.

She grinned "So what, I have no problem with been his mistress".

I chuckled under my breath "Hunter won't even glance your way Kiera".

She frowned "Why is that...am I not beautiful enough".

"You are beautiful Kiera but compared to Hunter's mate....

She puffed "Well,we will just have to see about that".

I walked up to Sia to hug her but she held her palm up to stop me "Don't...I only came here because of Hunter so don't think even for a second that I have forgiven you".

I bit my lips and nodded "Okay".

Kai got up from his couch and walked up to Hunter "So you are Hunter huh".

Hunter nodded "Yeah and I guess you are the twin of Kiera right".

Kai smirked "Clever!, I've heard a lot about you from my cousin Sydney...by the way am Kai".

Hunter cocked his head "Ahh...that must mean that i am very good" He stretched forth his hand for a handshake "It's nice meeting you Kai".

Kaistared at the stretched palmand for a minute,I thought he was gonna reject the gesture cause he so hated other supernatural beings....but he accepted Hunter's handshake and smiled "The pleasure is mine".

Hunter turned to face the girl I said I had never seen in my life "Penelope,you can leave now,we will take it from here and find out way home.....but thank you for your help".

"Sure" And she disappeared.

I raised my brows "Why did you need another witch'shelp...what of Sue and Alia?".

Hunter face fell "Well...well...you see...".

I stopped smiling and frowned "Hunter what's wrong...why do you look so off, what happened".

"I think it will be better if you saw it yourself Sydney......Sia..".

Sia grumbled "Do I really have to".

He frowned at her "Do you want Sue to be fine or not".

She rolled her eyes "Alright....fine".

She walked up to me and put her thumb on my forehead "Compose yourself".

And then I saw it all..... Jude leaving a party thrown in the house with a very familiar face,and the I saw Cary,Sue,Alia and Julia collapse in the main room and then I saw the familiar face again accepting the blame for what happened to them.

I stumbled back after Sia removed her thumb from my forehead and I shook my head in almost shock "No... it's not possible....She can't....No she can't".

Hunter stared at me strangely "What happened Sydney,why do you look so frightened....Do you happen to know her".

I gulped and managed to speak "Yes I know her,her name is Circe... and she is terrible, she's also a hybrid,a murderer and she deserve to die a very shameful death".
