PAINS OF LOSS PART 2

Sydney's pov...........

I can't believe that Axel really left to sleep somewhere else, well he was stuck with me forever.

I walked downstairs to see all the workers lined up and Hunter pacing in front of them.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes "What happened".

Cary shrugged "No one knows".

Hunter stopped pacing and faced the workers "Who was in charge of my laundries yesterday".

"M......Me........Me.........Me sir" one of the maid stammered looking at the ground.

"Where are my clothes" He asked studying her.

"Am so sorry sir, the rain fell and all your clothes got wet and I couldn't bring them like that......Am so sorry.....It won't happen.......... She could not finish her sentence because Hunter broke her neck with his hands and she fell lifeless to the ground.

He frowned "Go dump her body somewhere and what are the rest of you still standing here for".

And in less than a second, the whole room was empty of the workers.

"You shouldn't have killed that maid Hunter, she was innocent" Queen Selena stated.

He cocked his head and stared at her "Oh really".

"Yes".

She looked at Axel for support but Axel didn't even seem fazed meaning Axel agreed with what Hunter just did.

Just then the door opened and two muscular men entered dragging a young man with them and then also entered a very young boy of about six and he was held back by an elderly woman, the boy must be the son of the young man.

"My lord, this is the man who stole your goods" one of the muscular guard explained. I thought they were addressing Axel but Hunter sat on a sofa and cocked his head "So you are the stupid human who had the audacity to steal from me".

The man shivered "Am sorry my lord".

"Keep your sorry to yourself, am going to give you two minutes, if you give me a reasonable reason of why you stole from me then I'll spare your life but if not..........

"Am sorry my lord, it was never my intention to steal from you but we were hungry and after my wife died...........

Hunter suddenly appeared at the man's back, put his hands through his chest and brought out the man's heart "You should have just gone straight to the point not wasting my precious time" and he squeezed the man's heart till there was nothing left of it and the man fell lifeless to the ground.

"You Bastard" The young boy screamed rushing towards Hunter but the old woman held him back.

Hunter turned to face the boy frowning "What did you just say".

The boy broke down in tears "You're a Bastard, you killed my innocent father. I was sick and that's why he went to steal......... Just so he could cater for me when we have nothing, we have all become poor since the supernatural took over our country".

Hunter smirked "You know for a six years old, you sure do have a lot of guts".

The old woman bowed to Hunter, the boy still in her hands "Please pardon my grandson my lord, his little and immature".

Axel nodded understandably "He really is alright".

The boy frowned "Don't apologise to him Amar, what do you expect from him, his a beast and that's the only reason why he lost his wife". And in less than a second, Hunter had his hands on the boy's neck.

"I don't care if you are still a child, I'll kill you" The boy whimpered as Hunter tightened his grip on his neck.

What the boy said was not right Yes but I could not help but feel pity for the boy, he was only saying these things because of what just happened.

Axel walked up to Hunter "Hunter drop the boy".

Hunter stared at the boy in his hands before he dropped him and went back to his sofa.

Axel helped the old woman up and wiped her tears "Please don't cry woman".

The boy ran into the hands of his grandma "GRANDMA" he wailed.

The woman patted him as she wept too "Ohh my grandson, don't cry...... you'll be okay".and I felt my heart bleed for the both of them.

Axel took the old woman hands and put a very huge bundle of money in them "Take these and use it to take care of you and your grandson".

The woman attempted to kneel but Axel stopped her "Thank you so much sir".

"No need to thank me".

The boy hugged Axel which surprised both Axel and the old woman "Thank you sir, you are not bad like the other one".

Axel smiled "That guy is my best friend kiddo".

"His not nice sir, you're the nice one".

Axel chuckled "I wish that were true, his the nice one kid while am usually the BIG BAD WOLF......his just not in a good mood today".

"Thanks again sir" and they left.

I never would have thought that Axel was capable of doing such a nice thing.

Axel faced Hunter and scowled at him "And what was that just now Hunter".

Hunter looked at him unfazed "What was what".

"You were going to kill that small kid if I don't stop you".

"Of course, wasn't it obvious".

"But his just a kid Hunter".

Hunter frowned deeply "A kid who had the audacity to insult my Alia".

Axel sighed "I agree that he was wrong for insulting your mate but you also murdered his father".

"So you're trying to say that I was at the wrong for killing his father".

"Yes, that is exactly what am saying".

Hunter bit his lips "Nice.... Really nice".

"Look Hunter, I know you are still mourning Alia but going on a killing spree won't solve your problem, it won't bring Alia back".

He cocked his head "So it was alright for you to go on a killing spree".

"That was different and I regret what I did every day of my life, I still do not I don't want you to end up like me, I don't want you to regret what you have done and what you will do cause of grief". He sighed and scrubbed his face "I completely understand how you feel Hunter".

Hunter shook his head "No you don't, don't say things like that.....your mate was not pregnant when she died".

Axel nodded "Yes I totally agree that Silvar wasn't pregnant when she died but that doesn't mean that I don't understand the pain that you are passing through, I really do".

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING AXEL,.....YOU WERE NOT THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF YOUR MATE AND HER UNBORN CHILD".

Axel remained calm and nodded "Ohh so this is what all these is about....You killing Alia.....You been a murderer.....You been responsible for the death of Alia and your unborn child" and Hunter pinned Axel to the wall, his fist raised and ready to deliver a blow to his own bestfriend.

"Hunter" Queen mother scolded.

Axel grinned "Come on Hunter, hit me....hit me if it makes you feel any better, hit me if stops you from been a murderer".

Hunter tightened his grip on Axel's neck "SHUT UP".

Axel grinned "Even if I shut up it won't change a thing you know, it won't stop you from been a M.U.R.D.E.R.E.R".

"SHUT UP AXEL" Hunter screamed and he suddenly broke down in tears "Just shut up already.......stop saying such terrible things....it hurts you know......I didn't kill them on purpose, I didn't even know she was pregnant".

Axel frowned but still nodded "Exactly, you had no choice Hunter, it's high time you realized that" and he removed Hunter's grip from his shirt.

Hunter stared at his hands for a while before he placed them on his face, his eyes wide opened "Everytime I sleep, I see her.....I see them.....and it keeps reminding me of the fact that I killed them.....that I was responsible for their death and it hurts.....it hurts a lot knowing that I killed them....I just want the pain I keep feeling to stop.....I want to stop seeing them in my dreams".

"Unless you accept the fact that you were not the responsible for their death, then the pain will never stop and you won't stop seeing them in your dreams.....instead Hunter you will end up going completely insane and do you know, if you go insane then I'll too.........my life is useless without you and it hurts a lot when I see you in such pains.....I can't bear to Loss you Hunter, I can't" and he left upstairs.

Queen Selena attempted to go console Hunter but he stopped her "Am sorry Selena, am really sorry but I.....I really need to be alone now" and he also left upstairs.
