"So he died from that attack and now, I replaced him."

Jomel learned that Francis often heard of them and seen them in the distance. The one who killed is from a special family called the Grimo clan.

They were believed to a Muscled Gorillas, a human species with the appearance of a strange beast, with steel-like skin and deep abyssal black-colored hair.

After they were teleported to the lower realm, they developed into humans with the same features, but with greater strength.

Their physical power and senses are superior to those of an average human, and they regard them as the world's greatest race.

It's not surprising that Francis died on the spot; even a young Grimo will pick a fight with an entire pack of wolves soul-beast on the same level.

"It's normal to die from those superhuman clans," Jomel said with clarity and thought this guy from the Grimo clan was sent here to climb up to the top on his own.

"Someone must have been scheming against him and he knew it too so he didn't have any mercy." He muttered while calculating every possible reason.

Francis's heartbreaking moments struck a tender place in Jomel's heart.

Untalented and unpopular people were still on the receiving end, even in his past life.

The average people were always ignored, but when they received an achievement, that's the time when women; friends, who seldomly meet them; and relatives swarm around him like a bug attracted to the light of the flame.

"Sigh, shit happens but it's okay"

Jomel eventually, gave up on having thoughtful thoughts inside his head, life is hard and shit happens, it's better to live your life to the fullest.

That's what he believes in. Evil or Good? He gave up on believing all of that.

Sometimes he'd be kind, good, and sometimes he's been bad.

Is he neutral? He did not know; He likes the freedom of it and the alienation of the path of good and evil.

Jomel Ruhong couldn't relate to how Francis and his little beanie felt when their parents abandoned them.

His parents in his last life are not that brutal to leave a child and a lass alone to die by the curse of this world.

They hated each other a great deal, not caring for their son and daughter.

He would love to step on their bones if he had been given a chance.

If young Francis had not aged enough, they would have died because of the chaotic explosion of will energy within their body.

Jomel Ruhong lets out a breath.

A lot of question is running through his head, a lot of depressing things, like those beast's types or energy types or something, and a lot more...

Suddenly,

Jomel groaned.

Ughh

His vision has returned to blindness, but he is still conscious.

"Can you tell me who you are?" jomel heard a voice, the shadow makes a faint soft voice. "How come you're inside my body?"

"Afraid to tell, that even, I, do not know," Jomel was felt a cold breeze at first but eventually he replied calmly.

Jomel recognized him—he is the former owner of this body, Francis.

He is in a precarious condition because, according to Jomel's recollection of Francis' memory, there is a specter form of a soul beast in this world, created by the negative energy of the dead.

"I do not know," Jomel replied without emotion. But what he didn't know is that when he said those words, there is a trigger inside Francis, activating some of his memories.

A flashback...

"Older Brother, I'm afraid I do not know about anything about this," the little bean-bean pouted sweetly.

They're in a video game where if he plays, he'll get a toy for her. He does not know what this game is about, but he asks his younger sister if she knows anything about it.

But she, too, has no clue. They lost a penny for it, which made him a bit depressed. Little Beanie realized her older brother's condition and attempted to speak.

"Brother, I'm-."

"I'm great, bean; you're so cute, my little bean-bean; thank you." Francis listened to his younger sister softly and respectfully.

"Thank you's should end, good buddy! Offer more hugs; it's no joke to suggest the Beanie lives on naps and affection." Beanie's expression was a combination of anger and cuteness when she said this.

"Thank you's sound disconnected," she added with a slightly sad voice, being low and slow.

"So cute, my bean-bean, come here hug-hug, older brother," Francis said cheerfully as he hugged his little sister.

Although Beanie is being held by his older brother and she keeps hugging her older brother, she is thanking him nonstop in her adorable voice.

"You are the daisy in the meadow, the fresh dew of day, the wispy clouds on a fine day, older brother, you are innocent and kind."

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Francis couldn't stop smiling at his adorable sister's shenanigans.

There are two playings peacefully on the street in the gray skies of the lower realm, their eyes adding wholesomeness to the surroundings.

While eating candies in the corner, little Beanie said quietly, "I wish we could stay like this forever brother, and you are my forever brother, my kind-kind brother."

"Yes, bean-bean, I will always be your brother; I will never abandon you." 'Like father and mother,' he said, while he is smiling bitterly.

Noticing that his mood was slow again, beanie suddenly said "Brother, pat me, pat me..." She smiled when she said this.

Francis smiled at this...

He stroked her little head, which made her smile.

Francis' thoughts were cut short when

Shhzz

Francis's spirit body was weakening, his right arm cracked and slowly fading.

He said quietly to Jomel, with a touch of regret, "Please find my little sister- you don't have to take vengeance on our parents." He knew he was going to die.

"I'm not sure if you'll listen to my message, but please I beg of you- If you can find her, tell her I love her always," he said sadly, with a teardrop falling from his eyes, "from the very bottom of my heart."

"That's all I have to say, thank you."

...

"That's it, thank you very much, buddy." Everything clicked in Jomel's head and heart.

Previously vigilant and fearful, he felt sorrow when the original owner of the body spoke those words.

He knew it was full of grief and sorrow.

Since he was like that in a previous life-

When Jomel Ruhong died, he felt free, as if he could reach his little sister.

His little sister died of sickness, and he did not know what it was because his parents had never told him, but he had some kind of idea about it. He adored her to where he would go to the moon for her.

Whenever he was exhausted from cooking—which he enjoys—he would go to her and listen to her sing a lullaby to help him sleep soundly.

He remembers it all, the true beauty of life.

He didn't leave his bed for six months after she died.

Jomel, who was once a vibrant person, had become a zombie-like person who was unconcerned about anything in the universe.

In his daily life, he had lost inspiration.

He's just read webcomics, manga, and games, but he's always confused.

He misses her and feels sad without her.

He remembered her last words to him.

"That's all, thank you so much, brother."

He stopped paying to Francis and said, "Huong, my little sister Huong..." with grief and despair.

Jomel Ruhong spoke unhurriedly and lifelessly a minute later, "Why don't you take this body of yours back?"

Their position is awkward, both had a lively expression, and sand paints coldly their expression like ice, both of them look like they are dead.

Sshhzz

Francis's body had a sign of shattering and crumbling, but he responded to Jomel's questions, "How I wish I could, but now I'm fading..."

"So please find her and remind her that her brother loves her very much." That was the last warm smile made by Francis as his face contorted and revealed a menacing smile.
