2 <Chapter 2

The Past Week....

Over this week I have shut myself inside the apartment luckily it was stocked with food so I didn't need to go out, I didn't plan to leave until they taught me this entire week. I also got in touch with someone to help me invest in stocks, while goblins were helpful I wasn't going to go to them until I made it into the magical world so for now I didn't invest fully.

With being the Master Of Death I was taking everything in like a fish took to water, it only took the entire week for me to master most thing, though some will take a little longer. I started with Helga first who I chose while the rest started to looking around the apartment, they mainly got sucked into watching Tv watching shows and learning more about the muggle world.

[Helga's Classes]

Well when she started to teach me I didn't think it would be on magical and non-magical cooking too, I didn't know what she was really known for so it was surprising. To be honest I didn't know what any of them were known for since I was only a fan of the movies and Fanfictions I didn't have a deep understanding of them all the much.

She was also teaching me Charms seeing as she was the best out of the four, even Merlin said that he wouldn't be compared to her since she spent so much time on them. I just took it in strides though since they were all willing to teach me then I was going to be the best student they ever taught, I planned to be better than Merlin too. Not that anyone would know.

"Okay first off to do Charms you need strong intent behind them and pronounce them correctly. No one has ever become good at Charms without dedication to the mastery of training as hard as you can in them, be prepared to learn as much as I can teach you." She got really stern when she went into her teaching mode, but she still gave off the motherly vibes.

"Seeing as you are a young strapping young man then you need to also need to learn to cook, don't expect your wife to do everything for you. Understood?!" she practically glared while she was saying this to me.

She was right my looks were good but I was a scrawny person since this body had no work out or anything going on with it. I had sliver-gray hair and deep electric blue eyes, a sharp jaw with pale skin that stood out even if I was in a crowd of models.

"Alright well let us begin then." She said clapping her hands happily while giving me a warm smile again. After that it was like being at boot-camp with her drilling into me different Charms, she wasn't going to teach me magical cooking until I mastered all the Charms she wanted me to.

That is when we learn I had a photographic memory and could master things even only after learning them once, it took half a day to get through most of the Charms she had planned. We were both surprised when we learned this but it just made he more excited to be able to teach me more, and since I no longer needed sleep then I stayed up through the night learning.

When the other found us we were in my kitchen the place a mess, it was like this on repeat we would make it a mess then clean it right back before it turned out like this again. Thankfully there was a Charm that allowed food to stay fresh for up to three months, I learned every meal she knew then she learned some from me that she didn't know.

She was the first to learn my secret but didn't tell the others since she wasn't allowed unless I let her, she was amazed that I came from the future basically but was sad about me dying. She hugged me for a straight thirty minutes crying her eyes out, it was weird to see a ghost crying but since she had a corporal body she was able to do it.

This was the first time that I have felt the love of a motherly figure and I ended up hugging her back, she smiled stroking my and we went back to learning together. By the end of the second day she had nothing left to teach me and decided it was time to change out with the next person.

[Rowena Classes]

Since the guys were so caught up in muggle advancements Rowena was the next person to teach me about anything, she rolled her eyes at them when they played dumb. She was way stricter than Helga was, she looked at me with cold eyes as she changed the spare room into a classroom for her to teach me properly.

"I have noticed that along with teaching you don't have any knowledge of etiquette so I will also be teaching you in that too." She starting writing on the board, "Runes they are some of the most complicated but useful parts of magic that you will come across, I will be spending however long it takes for you to master them here with you."

"Umm will there be any breaks, not that I need sleep but it would be nice just to do the act of it." I said raising my hand quickly when she glared at me for speaking.

"No from now until you can right every Rune perfectly and without mistake then you will be sitting right there mastering it all." She said while glaring at me, "After that you will learn Herbology, Potions, and Astrology. But from what I learn from that TV you might be more advanced then me at Astrology so we will skip that one, hopefully you can teach me some things."

"Yes ma'am!" I said saluting her as she went into all the knowledge she had of Runes.

This was different than learning Charms since while they are used with a lot of hand movement and intent, Runes required me to learn how to write and read them without blowing up. My magic was pure so I was able to make even the simplest Rune stronger but it was also harder for me to write them with enough patience not to blow them up.

Their were multiple time that she had to step in and correct something I was doing, Photographic memory didn't make me a genius when it came to writing everything perfectly. "Watch what you are doing!!! Are you trying to blow up this place!!!"

After an entire night she already knew my secret and was pushing me harder because of it, I caught Helga looking into the room more than once the sweet woman bringing me food. I smiled every time she did while Rowena complained that I didn't need to eat and learn properly, after being able to write it all perfectly she switched to Herbology.

This one was easier the only thing she made me do is be able to memorize magical plants and write her a thousand words paper on the uses of each one. This was honestly giving me hand cramps but I didn't give up on it and kept at it for the next day, I spent that entire time learning all I could about them.

Potions were easier she couldn't really teach me anything on how to work with them but she could teach me the correct way so that they would come out better Potions. I only made small potions but she did leave me with the knowledge on how to make more advanced ones some that even weren't in the movies that I watched.

After she was satisfied with everything she finally let me free and I didn't miss the small smile on her face, she reminded me of Snape just not so much of an ass as him though. "Very good, though you learned quicker than I thought you would this really really all that I can teach you, with more time you would be able to pass me in the subjects."

"Thanks I think I am going to take the day off and go get some of these herbs and ingredients. Can you tell the rest for me while I am gone?" I asked while putting away all my new journals in the room which she changed into a library type place, it also included books where I learned things from Helga.

[Free Time]

Since I left them alone I decided to go to Diagon Alley and visit the goblins so I could quickly get into the stock market, with an advantage I already knew where to put all my money. After stopping at the bank and withdrawing more than half my money I went to The Leaky Cauldron, this was my first time outside or into the magical world since coming here.

The place looked like a dive bar if anything, since I could remember how to access Diagon Alley without anyone's help thanks to the little knowledge I had I went to the alley myself. The place was underwhelming but after meeting the founders of Hogwarts and Merlin himself then it wasn't a surprise that it would be this way for me.

Walking along I felt some eyes on me since I was wearing muggle clothes but I wasn't the only one so I ignored them, I also happened to see Harry along with the rest of is friends.

(To lazy to see how he really did everything before fourth year started so it will go shopping, finals, then on to Hogwarts.)

Pausing a moment I walked over to them and stopping in front of Harry, it might seem weird but who cares, "Harry Potter...." I looked him over and he was a young Daniel, "Can I have a moment of you time please..... in private."

"Why should he go with you, you are just some weird person who stopped him randomly on the street." Before Harry could respond Hermione already stepped forward and interrupted.

I smiled at her slightly causing her to blush, "You are right beautifully lady, you are?"

"Hermione Granger and you?" She asked not willing to meet my eyes anymore.

"Teddy Marsh. I am sorry for not introducing myself before I spoke earlier but if I could have a moment of his time just right over there I will have him back to you real quick. You will even be able to see us." I said while pointing over to an empty part of the street, it was the only part of the place that didn't have someone walking by it.

Harry nodded making me smile and followed me over there since everyone could see us, "Well Harry it is nice to meet you."

"Umm what is this about?" He asked looking a little nervous.

"Ahh not to worry, I was just going to offer you something. You see I am bored at the moment but I like you so I am going to give you a little present. I can't tell you what but something is going to happen this year at the school that I will be there for, when that time comes I will give you a gift." I said smiling mysteriously at him.

"And what is that exactly?" he asked looking wearily at me.

"Good things come to those who wait Mr. Potter. That was all I had to say, plus I wanted to be mysterious and all. Enjoy your shopping Harry maybe we will meet at the Finals if I make it there." I said while waving and walking away.

Going further down the street I saw the big Ivory white building up ahead, I ignored the plaque out front and went inside it wasn't like I was going to steal from them. Going inside I saw all of the Goblins working and followed the desk that lead to the investment 'bankers', "Can I get some help please."

"What do you need Wizard?" The goblin asked looking up from the paperwork that it was messing with.

"Yes I was wondering what it would take for you to help me invest in some muggle companies."

"You only need to have a vault with us and we can get someone to manage you money. We deal with both Muggle and Magical companies but take 10% from the profit earned." The goblin said looking serious.

"Alright well here is a list of the Companies that I want to invest in and I would like to open a Vault here." I said handing over the piece of paper with the company names that I already had in mind, "As for the money take what is need to open my account then invest with the remaining money based off that piece of paper."

I trusted them a lot more than a muggle accountant who would most likely steal my money when it came down to it, everyone was always looking for profit no matter what. The reason I trusted the goblins was because even with their greed for money they still had morals about stealing from the people who bank with them.

After we were finished I exchanged some money for galleons and went to shop for some books and ingredients, by the time I made it around to every shop I was out of money. Seeing that the sun was going down I went home and found all four of them sitting around the TV watching something about WW2, I still haven't seen in differences in the world yet.

If there was one then it didn't deal with any other movies since I didn't see any other movie characters around or any different companies that I would find in them.

[Godric Classes]

After eating and a light nap I dragged Godric away from the TV and into a room which he made into an arena, "Well boy I will be teaching you all about battle magic and how to use it in a battle, there are always dangers lurking even when you don't know. So from me I will teach you Dueling along with how to use a sword."

"Great!" This was something I was excited about since I did know about the pending war coming and didn't want to get caught slipping when something happened.

Without warning he shot off spells to me while telling me what they were and how to use them, I was learning to Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge. Wait was that a wrench! Looking behind me it was one but how the hell did it get there and why was he shooting it at me, that movie wasn't even out yet.

He laughed and continued to chase me while teaching and throwing spells at me, he wanted me to learn on the fly and not rely on my mind alone. Anything can happen is what he said while chasing me, he also wasn't going to let me go until I could hit him with one spell and keep him down.

This lasted for a day and a half before I was able to corner him and actually win, without even waiting for me to rest even a little he threw a sword at me and it began. There was no rest and when Helga tried to bring me some food he locked the door with a spell he made himself and told her not to come back until his lesson was over.

After learning my secret he was pushing me to the limits since I didn't need the rest or food, but they were still things I enjoyed so I wasn't going to give them up on any account. We didn't stop until that night, luckily it was easier for me to learn sword play then it was to learn battle magic and Dueling.

I dropped to my ass and ate all the food Helga brought me when his lessons were over.

[Merlin Classes]

His were easier than the rest well for me at least there was only one thing that was actually hard for me to accomplish which was Apparition, the rest were a lot easier. His classes were Transfiguration, Apparition, DADA, and Enchantments, two of the four were easier thanks to my previous classes.

Enchantments were another form of Runes but a little more complicated so it wasn't that hard for me to get them down, it was surprisingly the Goblin language used on them. DADA was a lot easier after learning Battle Magic from Godric since he helped me learn some Dark Arts while we were at it, that made me know how to counter them.

As for the last two Transfiguration was hard but also simple the more I got the hang of it, it helped that I had books on it and Merlin helping me with mistakes in them. After a couple of hours my only problem was making them into actual living things which wasn't possible in the first place but I could make a desk into a pig in seconds.

Apparition was harder and actually sacred me some, I couldn't die but having a missing leg or something from doing this it was a real scare since I didn't know if my limbs grew back. After a whole day I was finally able to get it but not after losing an arm twice and a leg three times, though luckily they grew back in the same places seconds later.

"Well you have learned everything I can teach you in these, all you need to do now is register in the ministry and you are set." Merlin said smiling at me as we walked out of the room.

But I looked at him like he was an idiot, "What do you mean I don't want o be apart of this backward society, I am heading straight to do everything I wanted to do." The week was already coming to and end while it didn't matter to me I was still wanting to stay on schedule.

[All Together Now]

"Well the last thing I would recommend is mind arts but since I can't even get into you head it seems that you already have a natural mastery over that." Godric said while stroking his beard.

"Yes, the only thing you can do now is go after more knowledge on your own, that is how a true Wizard advances." Rowena said actually giving me a real smile for the first time.

"Alright well you guys have two options here, 1) stay and enjoy more TV or two go back to the other side I am going to be out a couple of days doing my own thing." I said while opening the window and taking the letter sent from the owl that was from Gringotts. It was from my new account manager Griphook who wanted to talk about my new investments, they were already yielding results from what the letter said.

"I am sure you already know the answer to that." Helga said with a smile on her face.

"Alright well then I will see you all again when I get back from my errands." I said waving at them as I Apparated to Diagon alley.
