The man brought the child to his house near a cliff.

Bo Chong is the man who get the child from the dark forest.

He is a doctor, he doesn't have a family with him. He only live with his own, reading books and making various medicine.

The people near the village goes to him if they have health problems.

He gave them free medicine and free consultation, only the villagers give him some live chicken, pork, vegetables or any thing that they can give in exchange.

The villagers truly loves him because of that.

At noon Chu Mei started to open her eyes.

She felt so hungry. (She's not yet awake)

Chu Mei got up and she saw that she's not in the forest.

She can faintly smell different herbs in her surroundings.

Someone goes inside the room. "Your already awake, what do you feel?"- the man asked but Chu Mei also asked, "Who are you?"

"I'm the one who saw you in the dark forest."-he said while smiling to her.

Chu Mei bowed her head, "Thank you for saving me" -she's not looking into him.

"No, no, I didn't save you, I just get you out over there because you fainted" - he said earnestly.

He asked again, "Why are you in the dark forest, where are your family?"

There is mist in child eyes, " I don't have no one by my side, and someone almost killed me". - in that she started sobbing. ' It is okay right I should play my role' she thought.

She looks up to the man and said, "Can I live here Mister, I promise I'll be good" -she said with pleading eyes. 'Do I look disgusting' she premand herself.

"I am also in my own, you can live here as long as you want but you should behave and you'll study with me"- the man said while looking to Chu Mei's eyes.

"Tha-thats alright with me, thank you! My name is Chu Mei can you be my brother?"- she said while feeling nervous.

"Hahahaha, you have wits, yes little Mei, I can be your brother"- he said while smiling.

Chu Mei interjected, "Brother I'm a girl and I wanted to be a boy"- she said shyly. 'I'll have my Oscar award for this.' -she thought.

"No, no it's not a big problem, what you said is right it's better for you to be a boy, for you to have a good life, to be safe and you can go to many places."- he said in slow manner.

"Thank you, brother...." -Mei said beaming.

"Bo Chong, call me Brother Chong" -Chong said awkwardly.

" Alright brother Chong you can call me brother Xi" -Mei beamed to Chong.

"Welcome to my home brother Xi" - Chong said happily.
