1 Chapter One

Phoenix Pavilion.

Like a newborn baby, she had regained her inner-conscience suddenly, unsure who or where she was.

A sense of suffocation lasted for a full thirty seconds before Li Xiang found herself able to breathe again.

The pressure from the darkness caused her to be unable to wake up, as her thoughts were chaotically muddled.

Where was this? Why can't I see anything?

Panicking, her breathing became rapid.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

A hazy sound came from the distant, causing her eyes to swirl around frantically.

Someone…anyone, help me!

The feeling of suffocation enveloped her again, causing the beeping sound to become louder until –

Li Xiang flashed her eyes open to find herself in a dimly-lit room, the constant sound of beeping seemed to be coming from beside her.

Her thoughts were still chaotic; however, time seemed to have halted when her gaze met those of chilling ones above.

Her breathing hitched, and her body recoiled instinctively before shivering violently.

Who is he? Why do I feel terrified and nauseous?

Fu Yun coldly stared down at the beautiful woman who had curled herself up away from him. The dark clouds that flashed across his handsome phoenix eyes caused Li Xiang, who was petrified to have difficulty breathing.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

The beeping sound became even more chaotic, as Li Xiang felt her vision blurring, her head was pulsing in pain.

Whoever this man is, someone, please get him away from me!

As Li Xiang internally begged, her vision became even fuzzier, she felt sick.

'Master Fu!' An elderly man shouted before the door of the room was slammed open. 'Please don't agitate the Madam!' He was followed in by two others.

They had rushed in after receiving a notification through Doctor Mo's phone that the heartrate of Madame Fu had become frighteningly chaotic, they knew they shouldn't have left the Master alone with the Madame.

'Fu bastard what are you doing to my big sister?!' A stunning young man who seemed to be a foreigner shouted angrily as he rushed over to Fu Yun, intending to beat the man up.

'Young Master Li, please stop.' A lean man who had a phone and papers in his hand used his body to stop the advancement of Li Lei.

'Assistant Chen, unless you don't want your body crippled, I suggest you don't protect that dog master of yours!' The young man, Li Lei, angrily shouted as he pushed Chen Fai aside, preparing to beat that dog, Fu Yun, up.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Accompanying the madhouse in the room was the heart rate monitor.

Please stop, stop.

Li Xiang whimpered, as she clutched her head that felt like someone had stabbed a scorching hot rod through it.

Finally, the pain was too much, and she couldn't bear with it anymore, fainting instantly.

Fu Yun who had been silently staring at the small figure all this time closed his eyes slowly before inhaling. 'Li Lei if you don't want the Li Company to go bankrupt by tomorrow then scram out of here.'

His voice was rigid and cold, causing the actions of those in the room to pause.

Li Lei looked at Fu Yun as if he heard some kind of century-old joke. 'You bastard, are you mentally retarded? I, your dad am taking my big sister back home today!'

Fu Yun opened his eyes and turned his attention away from Li Xiang who was being nursed by Doctor Mo, glancing at Li Lei he coldly said. 'Li Lei, don't test my patience.'

Li Lei gritted his teeth, he didn't fear Fu Yun this demon, but the power behind Fu Yun was something he couldn't contend with just yet! Li Lei clenched his fist, feeling the urge to destroy everything. His attention turned to his angelic elder sister, who was lying in bed, hooked up to several cable drips.

He failed as a younger brother, he couldn't even protect his sister from dangers and this wild man!

Li Lei controlled his breathing before turning around and walked to the door. 'Fu Yun, one day, I'll take my big sister away from you, damn bastard.' He spat out before leaving through the open door.

Bang!

The sound of the front door downstairs was slam shut as Li Lei angrily left Phoenix Pavilion.

The three men who were left in the room were silent as they stared at the haggard young woman on the bed.

Assistant Chen sighed, he guilty looked at his Madame. When she wakes up later, will Madame be able to handle it? If it hadn't been because of all the servants misunderstanding and Master being stubborn driving her to the edge, she wouldn't have…

When she wakes up, all the servants will make sure to make it up to her, although he doubts making up to her will be of any use.

Fu Yun, who had been silent, turned towards the door and left. 'Did you get all those involved?'

Assistant Chen followed his Master out of the room, gently closing the door behind him. 'Master, the Green Dragon Division has captured them all, they're waiting down at the Underground Chamber.'

Hearing this, Fu Yun turned around and headed downstairs before going outside, where he strolled through the stunning rose garden before entering the forest.

Finally, after twenty minutes he arrived at a cave doorway, taking out a black card he swiped the card reader beside the entrance, causing the massive doors to open.

The cave was well lit, as Fu Yun made his way down the stairs. The instant he walked through the door, the stench of blood engulfed his being as screams and wails followed by the chanting of denial echoed through the Underground Chamber.

Chen Fai looked down at his phone, 'Master, I just received news from the White Tiger Division, Mei Ning has left the country and had made contact with the Crimson Serpent Gang in Italy.'

'The Crimson Serpent Gang?' Fu Yun's eyes narrowed dangerously.

'Even outside flies dare meddle, I want them gone.' He spat out the order.

Those who hurt Li Xiang should just all go die.
