150 Chapter 150: Fighting the Troll (Edited)

Originally, Snape wanted to continue scaring Ron, but Fish suddenly appeared and interrupted his plan.

He pouted regretfully, then ignored Ron, who was still doubting his life, and headed for the next room.

Since he couldn't scare Ron, Snape wasn't going to waste too much time here, after all, the Troll was the most dangerous of all the levels.

Though he had gorged Harry on Trolls through his Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons, the Potter boy was as brainless a Gryffindor as his hated father, and God knows how much of what he had been taught he had mastered.

"Come on, Ron, you weren't dreaming."

Dumbledore smiled as he kept Ron from beating himself up in his sleep.

"It's a bit complicated, I'll explain it all later, for now, just follow us and see what Harry does next."

Ron, who still hadn't fully recovered, looked at Dumbledore with a confused expression, not knowing how to react.

At that moment, Professor McGonagall's cold, stern voice rang in his ears.

"Do you want to be expelled for running in a prohibited area and breaking school rules during curfew?"

Instantly, the sense of reality that Ron lacked came over him.

His face paled, his lips trembled slightly, and he looked at Professor McGonagall with a look of horror.

Professor McGonagall stared at Ron for a moment, until she felt her breath catch and was about to faint again, when a faint smile appeared on her face.

"But in the interest of defying the odds, I won't punish you this time... Good move."

Professor McGonagall smiled and nodded to Ron, before leading Fish into the next room.

"Minerva, that's not fair nya!"(●ΦДΦ●)

Fish protested in exasperation, "Why did you pinch me when I snuck in?"

"Because they came to stop the bad guys from stealing the Philosopher's Stone, and you came to have fun!" Said Professor McGonagall.

"No, it's not! Fish is here to fight the bad guys too!" Fish protested.

"No lies!" Said Professor McGonagall.

"You like lying, Minerva! That's not true! Fish doesn't lie!" Fish grumbled.

"Come on," Dumbledore patted Ron, who was starting to get confused again, "Don't you want to see if Harry and Hermione finally get the Philosopher's Stone?"

"Professor Dumbledore, what's going on here?"

Ron followed Dumbledore, his face complicated, he still didn't know exactly what was going on, but at least he understood that his and Harry's every move was in the hands of the professors.

It made him feel like a fool.

Dumbledore could easily see what Ron was thinking, and said softly, "You're doing very well, it's just that your preconceptions about Professor Snape are so deep that you've overlooked some details, and of course, Severus has some problems of his own, which you can't entirely blame."

As they spoke, they entered the room where the Troll was, Harry and Hermione were still fighting him Troll, while Snape and Professor McGonagall stood watching in the doorway.

Fish, who was standing next to Professor McGonagall, looked at the Troll in disgust.

Although Dumbledore had applied a spell to block the stench, Fish had put on an extra bubble head spell, which made him look a bit odd.

Without much thought, Ron went straight to Fish's side.

"Redhead Number Four, would you like a bubble head spell?" asked Fish, waving his wand in his hand.

"Uh... no, thanks."

Ron shook his head as he sniffed, not really smelling anything, and was about to ask Fish if he could find out more about what had happened when Snape's annoyed sneer suddenly sounded from the side.

"You know you're fighting a Troll, and you're taking so long to prepare for it... Miss Know-it-all is barely passable in theory, but she's a disaster in practice. As for our savior... hehe."

"As first-year students, I think you're both doing very well."

Professor McGonagall looked at Snape in disgust, defending her students.

Ron glared at Snape with the same look, "That's because I wasn't there! The plan we started with, I would get the Troll's attention, Harry would interfere and then Hermione would deliver the final blow, now that I've disappeared, of course they have to adjust the plan!"

Snape glanced slightly at Ron, gave him a derisive snort and looked away, not bothering to argue with him.

Ignored, Ron gritted his teeth, but he had hardly dared to contradict Snape in the heat of the moment, and now that his senses had returned, he could only silently cheer Harry and Hermione on.

In fact, the plan they had started with was a good one, as Trolls were powerful creatures, but a bit dumb and slow to react.

If the plan worked, it wouldn't even take three of them, one to lure and one to cast the spell, to get rid of the Troll.

But a plan is just a plan.

When confronted with the ten-foot tall, ugly, smelly Troll, Hermione's mind went blank, and although Harry still had some courage left, he had completely forgotten about the plan they had made....

But Hermione, dazed, was quickly roused by Harry's urgent cry and, raising her wand in her hand, shouted at the Troll's feet, "(incarcerous)!"

A thick rope flew from the tip of Hermione's wand and wrapped around the Troll's ankles, although the rope broke almost as soon as it wrapped around the ankles, it accomplished its mission of tripping the Troll.

"Trolls are powerful, but stupid, and their thick skin can withstand some of the weaker spells, especially for beginners like us, so don't try to do direct damage to a Troll with a spell, but try to do indirect damage..... "

Hermione repeated what Snape had taught her in class, as her mind raced, remembering the battle plan they had devised earlier.

As the stumbling Troll tried to get up again, Harry waved his wand quickly, casting the (Locomotor Mortis) spell on its legs.

"(Locomotor Mortis)! (Locomotor Mortis)! (Locomotor Mortis)!"

But to little avail.

It was only when Hermione turned a stone into a mouse that the Troll's attention was diverted, otherwise Harry would have been chased around the room again.

Snape, who had been mocking Hermione's performance, had calmed down, but after seeing Harry's poor performance, he let out another scornful sneer.

"Hmph! I wonder what this idiot has been listening to in class"

"... Trolls are slow to react, it's because their pain nerves aren't very well developed, so most of the wounds they inflict, Trolls don't care much about.... Harry, don't use a spell that acts directly on him."

Hermione continued speaking, lowering her voice to remind Harry.

"Then what should I use?!" shouted Harry, and got the Troll chasing the mouse to turn its attention back to him.

To Fish, who was very good at fighting, Harry was behaving like one of those silly chickens that used to give away their position by squawking when they were just hunting.

The kitten didn't want to save his companions' faces and burst out laughing.

"Nya, hahaha! Minerva, Scarhead is so stupid!"╭(●`●)╯

Fish tugged on Professor McGonagall's sleeve, laughing loudly.

Beside his, Ron covered his face, as a bystander, he could calmly analyze it, and naturally, he found Harry's behavior a bit stupid, too stupid for him to refute Snape's ridiculousness.

"As absolute representatives of developed limbs and a simple mind, trolls have a small brain capacity, and their stupid heads are their greatest weakness. This isn't just in terms of IQ, but they can easily faint if their heads are hit hard.... that's it!"

Hermione finally got to the solution Snape had "sent" them and remembered the plan she had come up with.

She waved her wand and shouted at the huge wooden stick in the Troll's hands that was chasing Harry, "Wingardium Leviosa!"

Suddenly, the stick came loose from the Troll, soared into the air and then fell sharply, hitting its owner in the head with a thud.

The Troll swung in place and fell face down on the floor with a thud that shook the entire room.

"Well done! Hermione!"

Ron raised his fist in the air and jumped up to cheer her loudly, even though she couldn't hear him now.

"Hmph! You don't have that much time to memorize texts when you're up against me, a dark wizard who wants to steal the Philosopher's Stone."

The corner of Snape's mouth twisted slightly and he continued to sneer, causing Ron to glare at him again.

"It's already a big job, I didn't have the confidence to take on a Troll in my first year."

Professor McGonagall was quite pleased and smiled in praise.

As a result, Fish was a little jealous, tugging at the hem of Professor McGonagall's coat, "If these guys didn't stink, Fish could have beaten them any time!" (ˇˇ)

To prove his point, he added, "Even the big spiders in the Forbidden Forest are no match for Fish!"

Then Professor McGonagall grabbed him by the ear and shouted at the top of her lungs, "When did you run off to provoke the Acromantulas?!"

"Minerva, I was wrong nya!"∑(●QДQ●)
