30 Chapter 30: Trial of Lone Tigers

“Don’t… move…” Montez quietly mumbled to Mason while keeping his eyes on the menacing feline stalking them both. Mason felt his heart beating thunderously as the tiger slowly pranced across the tree branch. The predator’s huge, alluring yellow placed the teen in a trance as the animal licked his lips. Montez slowly looked around for something to help fend himself and Mason, until something obvious dawned on him. “Mason… the tree! Take it down!” he urged his friend through his gritted teeth.

The claws came out, and the carnivore sprung on the attack. He roared as he sprung from the tree and on top of Montez. “Ah! HELP!” Montez yelled as the powerful tiger pressed all its might down on top of him and bared its fangs at him. He felt its claws pressing onto his chest as droll poured out of its mouth and all over his face. The gadget master had no weapons or devices to save him in this predicament. But luckily, he had a new superpowered friend to aid him.
