Sharplodon moved toward Yuki, she couldn't do anything but to let what would happen next. Meanwhile Max just could do something less in the water. He felt disappointing, but he hadn't give up yet.

At a very close range, suddenly Sharplodon turned its direction. Its turning movement made such a bursting wave that slammed Yuki who in very inches distance close to it. After that the Sharplodon seemed to be in pain as it moved uncontrollably. It moved so much that it made messed in the sea with its huge body size. Max who saw it, quickly put his blades away to his belt and swam up to the surface. While he was swimming to the surface, he kept watching on what had happened to Sharplodon.

It started to calming and after a few seconds it stopped moving, something came out from its mouth. That was something blue was coming out from Sharplodon's mouth. Max saw it like a person, but when Max tried to watch carefully, that blue thing came back to Sharplodon's mouth. And then Sharplodon moved again. It saw Max and moved toward him slowly. When it came closer to Max, it stopped on its way. Then it opened its mouth and something came out from its mouth again. It was human body who wore blue suit, white boots and gloves, and a blue helmet with reversed triangle shape as it vision glass in black color. After it came out, it seemed to see Max nearby, then it quickly grabbed him as it swam in upper rates speed even one of its hand pulling Max out of the sea.

"Hei, are you alright?", the sound of man heard by Max when they two were up of the surface.

"Emm... That's such a centric swimwear you have woren... Haha..", that blue suit man talked to Max about Max' suit.

"Ah! It's not a swimwear, eh.. you know.. I just think that your su-..", Max had not finished his words but that blue suit man cut his word.

"Oh! Don't be afraid! I will not harm you! I used to be a lifeguard after all", that blue suit man explained.

" Ah, that's not the issue here, but...", Max hadn't finished his words.

" Oh, I'll be right back!", that blue suit man back into the water immediately.

In the water, that blue suit man immediately dived toward the Sharplodon which did nothing there. He moved so fast that in a second, he was already in front of the Sharplodon. He punched it on its head in that extraordinary speed. That punch drove it away so much that pushed it away to the bottom of the sea. That giant thing, the Sharplodon crushed the sea floor.

"Woow! That was even stronger than I've thought", he was so excited to talked to himself.

Seeing the Sharplodon didn't move in several minutes, he decided to return to Max place. So that, he swam to the surface. He couldn't find Max around, but then he saw two people whos stood up on some floating ice rather far from there. Then he swam toward there. And in a few seconds he arrived there, Max and Yuki noticed him.

" Hei! Are you two alright?", that man was quickly asking they two after a second he came on that ice break.

"Yeah, we are, aren't we?", Max answered his question as looked at Yuki's way.

"Oh, yes... I'm fine", Yuki replied.

"Don't worry! I used to be a life guard, I'll save you all.. haha..", that man laughed.

" Yeah, you have said so before..", Max spoke back to him as he opened his helmet.

"Oh, right..", that man was opening his helmet as well.

"Let me introduce myself then.., I'm a lifeguard from Sunrefer Co.. You can call me Philip", that man, Philip, introduced himself.

"I'm Max, ehh.. I come from touring ship..", Max was introducing himself maybe.

" Woow, you're a costomer! I'm sorry for the inconveniences...", Philip was apologizing as he thought that he was an employee of the Sunrefer Co..

"Wait, do you get separated from the group? Are you really alright, sir?", Philip looked some kind of panic on his face.

"Ah, it's okay, I'm alright, don't worry..", Max tried to calm Philip down.

" Excuse me, are you the warrior of the sea?", Yuki asked Philip politely.

" Ah, me? Warrior of the sea? What are you talking about? And.. emm.. are you the guest of the touring ship too?", Philip was rather confused cause of that words.

"Oh, no, I'm not, I am Yuki from water elemental tribe", said Yuki politely.

" Water elemental tribe?", Philip got even confused by that.

" You say you gonna break your customs tribe politeness, aren't you?", Max teased Yuki and made her felt irritated.

"You shut it!", Yuki was annoyed with Max.

" Ahaha... Oh, right, you also say something about warrior of the sea earlier, you mean this guy is that one?", Max continued his words.

" Hei! Hei! Hold up! What are you doing in here anyway?", Philip asked another question.

" Oh, about that.. ehmm..", Max was looking for reasons.

" I come here to hunt the Sharplodon, it's that giant shark that said had thread the people on this site", Yuki explained.

" Oh, that's called Sharplodon", Philip confirmed.

" Right! What's happening to the Sharplodon? Have you finished it?", Max asked Philip about Sharplodon.

" I punched it to the bottom of the sea, then it didn't move anymore. I don't know if it has killed or not", Philip explained the things.

" It won't be dead by that! Unless you cut it, it will stay alive! But that will also be tough since it has very hard skin", Yuki gave her knowledge about the Sharplodon.

" I see, that's why even Naga sword can't cut it!", Max seemed disappointed.

" But then, if you say it will be dead when it cut. Then it has been cut before, right? Then there is the way to cut it no matter what", Philip figured something.

" Oh, I get your point!", Max was thinking.

" I've been told the warrior of the sea is the one who can do that, but since long times ago, their presents are no longer be known", Yuki continued with such a story.

" Now then, Philip, you are a warrior of the sea, aren't you?", Suddenly Max asked Philip the question.

" Warrior of the sea? Me? Like I've said, I don't know what are you talking about", Philip were so confused.

" You are the most suit figure to be looked like! See! Blue warrior suit, ability to swim fast, strong under the water and so", Max intended to facade.

" Like I said, I don't  have idea about it. To tell the truth, I just get this power recently", Philip reacted to Max opinion.

" Recently? You mean just now?", Max asked for confirmation.

" Yeah, when I was inside Sharplodon and-..", Philip was going to start his story but Yuki interfered.

"Wait! You are the person who swim toward Sharplodon that time! I try to help you, but you are still moving onto it by your own! What are you thinking? Do you know this things will happen? I mean the power you've gained now", Yuki spoke madly.

" Oh, I remember now. You are that woman's voice who told me to stay out of Sharplodon last time", Philip seemed to remember Yuki.

" You got eaten by Sharplodon because your own?", Max got curious about Philip's story.

"Oh! That's... How do I explain it, but the point is-...", Philip explained his reason to Max but,...

"You are being eaten, right? The point is that you are being eaten by Sharplodon! And that's because your own fault", Yuki cut the sentence.

" That's right. In the end, I've got myself to be eaten by that shark. But I have the reason to do that", after said that, Philip looked in sad.

"It must be a very good reason that make you not to fear the dead. Is it so important to you?", Max asked Philip, he turned to be serious that time.

Philip was to be in silent. He answered Max question only by nodding. Then the situation turned to be all silent for the moments.

"Emm... It is not.. how to say it.. emm, she is important, but I don't think you will understand my perception..", Philip tried to say something.

" Eh! What are you trying to say?", Yuki was asking for pardon.

" What do you mean it's important and it's not? You're nodding early. I don't really get what you want to say", Max was also asking Philip.

" I said so but... I don't know how to say..", said Philip, he looked nervous.

" Is she your wife? Or girlfriend maybe?", suddenly Max did quick asking.

" No! Not both!", Philip immediately responded Max quick questions.

"Your family? Friend?", Max continued.

" No, no. She- she is my boss in the company where I worked actually", Philip made it clear.

" Oh! It's about the work, huh?", said Max.

" That's not about the work, silly? He likes her, certainly", Yuki said it with the feeling of somehow irritating.

"Ah, no.. that's.. ah...", Philip was seen to be overreacted.

" Really?", Max reacted.

Philip seemed to be troubled in his feeling, it showed on his face. Meanwhile, Max was still in confused to understand the situation. And Yuki was felt annoyed, to think she was around the stupid people.

"Yesterday, in afternoon, there's a kid who got pulled to the ocean when he was swimming on the beach at our area...", Philip started to tell story.

" I rushed my self to rescue him. When I got him on the restricted swim area, I found that there was some green vines which pulled his leg into the ocean. After I rescued that boy, I talked to Maria about that. She showed her grateful that I could save that boy from that vines. Before I worked there, so much similiar things happened and yet they couldn't be saved. So that, she decided to do the investigation on that area in the night. But the investigation didn't give any clue, so they ended it. Then when all diver units got set out back, her boat was behind to make sure all units come back save. But then her boat was attacked by something that she caused her fell in to the water, but she never came out to the surface. So then the divers on her boat got looking for her in the water but they got nothing about her signs. Yet, a diver said that he saw something big moved in the dark then it vanished. That's why today we continue the searching, even though I want to search her from that night", he continued.

Few weeks ago, Kevin, as a supervisor in Sunrefer Co. at Sunrefer beach, he introduced someone to join for the team as a lifeguard, his friend, Philip Wringe. Philip was assigning as a lifeguard because he believed in his ability on swimming fast. He thought that it would be better than just be a NEET. On that day, he showed his overrated swimming skill to the team. They all amazed with that. Not exception for the young lady who saw him from the control room at the side of the beach. After that, Kevin took Philip to look around the company facility. When they got to the control room, something happened in other facility and Kevin needed to take care of it, so he asked Philip to stay there until he handled the things.

So Philip entered the control room. He found out how big that room on his mind. He looked out the window which show the wide view of Sunreferbeach. It took him so long to enjoy the view. He felt relax there. Then he saw a long sofa that pointed to window, perfect place to enjoying the sun set and sun rise while sitting on the relaxing sofa in relaxing room, in his mind. He walked to the sofa, thinking about relaxing himself there, but then he found someone who sleeping on that. A woman was sleeping on that sofa. He was so surprised by that. Then suddenly, he felt the heart beat. His heart beat so fast as he looked at that woman sleeping face. White skin, slender long black hair, and she wore red small dress that covered her upper body to her knee. Then he stared at her face in several minutes until suddenly she opened her eyes. Their eyes stared each others.

"Wooaa!!!", she shouted.

"Woo!! S-s-sorry, I'm sorry!", Philip got surprised too.

" Oh, what are you doing?", that woman was asking.

" I'm sorry, I don't mean to do anything to you!", Philip was panicking.

" Ahaha.. I know that you won't", she was rising up from the sofa and walked away toward to the door.

"... Because if you did so, you would do it from several minutes ago, right?!.. Haha..", she laughed as she opened the door.

" Oh! Don't tell anyone I've been here, you got it!?!", she said so before finally she closed the door as she was smile and wink to Philip who got stunned.

After some minutes past, Kevin came in to the room. Philip didn't tell about that woman. Then they continued spoke about the works until the end of the day. But not even a single second, Philip could get over from thinking about her.

Next day, that day was Philip's first day of working as training lifeguard. He was learning about what he had to do as lifeguard when he was on his shift. Doing some help, doing patrol on his area and kept watching on the line of limited area of swimming, Kevin told him that if he shouldn't let any swimmers got passed the line because of that was the danger area for swim.

Half day had passed, he got rather tired that time, so he decided to go to the watching tower in his area. In that place, he could took a rest while kept on watch on the situation around the beach. He thought that he could do some rest there. He climbed the tower to reach the seat over that tower. When he reached the top, he was so surprised that he encountered someone who sat on that seat. The someone who familiar for him to be seen. She was the woman he met yesterday in the control room. Their eyes met each others again.

"Woow!!", she shocked while she saw Philip's face in front of her.

"Oh! Sorry! I don't know there will be you in here! Do I scare you?", Philip asked.

" Eh, a little bit. What are you doing here?", she returned to the asking.

" Ah, I think this is my post..", he answered as he was uncertainly sure about what he said.

"Oops! You're the lifeguard, right? I'm sorry. I'll get over from here then", as she said that, she went down of the tower from the other side of stairs.

"Okay..", he responded her when she had gone as he still stunned on that stairs of the tower.

Then he quickly woke up from his daydreaming to search for her, but then he couldn't find her anywhere. She was gone in the crowd of the beach. Then he felt the same thing like in the last time they've met, the heart beats. It felt strong. He thought he would never feel this way before, even in his age.

On the next day, everything seemed the same in the beach, looked so peaceful and full of fun. Until Philip noticed that there was a man who swam nearby the danger line. This man was on outside of his area of patrol, but then he found out his comrade as the lifeguard on that area seemed busy with other guests and didn't notice that man. So that, he gave that man a warning with the horn, but that man didn't stopping.

His comrade noticed that man as he started to move to the water to come toward that man, but he moved slow because of too muh people on his way. Philip thought his comrade couldn't make it, so that he ran to the water as he searched for the route to that man. Philip jumped to the water and swam really fast though the people. He got through the people in the water in very fast speed. In a few moments, he already reached that man, then he warned that man to get back to the safe place, and that man returned to the beach. As Philip was back to the beach his comrade came for him to talk.

"That is very amazing, man! You swim so fast, even though there are many people on your way, that's very impressive!", his comrade complimented his skill of swiming.

"Ah, thank you", Philip replied.

After that the beach came back to be in conducive state, no body got close to the danger line. Philip was on his patrolling around his area, he didn't see any thread around, then he decided to get back to his post tower. When he thought about that, suddenly he remembered about her. "Would she be in there again?", that was how he thought. He reached his post, he hadn't climb it yet, he seemed to be got prepared himself for that. Then he climbed it slowly, he didn't want to shock her again. After reached the top, he didn't found anyone there. He was disappointed at the moment, but after he took a seat, he found a bottle of ice isotonic water at the corner of the seat along with a piece of paper. It said, " for philip, good job!  m".

That was for him. It gave "m" as the initial name, he didn't know someone with that name around, he got some friends there but no one started with m. He got confused, he thought he was just new in there, and not too much people know him well. He looked around that area but he didn't find the people he knew who had initial name with m. After his shift ended in the evening, Philip walked to the control room to look for Kevin. He didn't find him there, but he met the person he actually wanted to.

"Oh! Hi! Thanks for your hard work!", that woman started to greeting with her smile and her cheerful vibes.

"Ah, you! Why are you here again?", Philip surprised at first but then he asked her the question.

"Oh, I come for the check! And it's done, I'll take my leave now!", she ran a little toward the door as Philip was standing there.

"Hm! That's not poisonous! You should drink that, okay!", she said that as she pointed to the bottle of isotonic water Philip held on his hand before finally she closed the door that left opened by Philip.

Philip didn't move as he still didn't understand about what had happened. Until suddenly the door opened again.

"I'm sorry to make you wait, lady Maria..?", Kevin came in with a glass of juice.

"Lady Maria?", Philip confused.

"Philip, do you see her? She should be here anyway", Kevin continued.

" Who is she?", Philip asked Kevin.

"She is the daughter of the owner of this company. She is the boss, you know?! Have you meet her? You better show your good attitude if that so!", Kevin explained.

" O-okay!", Philip confirmed as he drank his isotonic drink.

Then now, he knew who was the one who gave that drink. It was her. But then he thought about the reason why she gave him that drink, "was she that good?" That was how Philip thinking.

Next day, Philip did daily works as usual, he also kept looking for Maria. Every single chance of the moment when he got close to his post tower, he took a peek to see if there was Maria there, but he didn't find her there. And also, he came up to the control room after his works done, but he never found her there anymore. He did that for the same three days but he still couldn't find her where about. So he decided to meet Kevin and asked him about her.

"Hi, Kev! I wanna ask you something?", Philip came to Kevin.

" Sure thing, go ahead!", Kevin gave permission.

" It's about lady Maria you've said, is she-..", Philip hadn't finished his words.

" You're looking for the boss? Ahaha..", Kevin cut on his words with laughing.

"It's not like that but,..", Philip tried to explain but then Kevin continued his words.

"The boss seldom came here, she's like, suddenly come and then gone, just like that! You will never see her for long time! Let see, if four days ago she come here, then she probably would come back here in three days later", said Kevin.

" Three day from now?", Philip asked for confirmation.

" Yes, she probably come here once a week or a month. And after she got finished the checking, she immediately go back. She live far from here by the way, I don't think she will just come once a day only for quick check. She was rather lazy and spoiled woman after all, eh!! Hei, Philip! Never told her I ever said that okay!", Kevin got serious.

" O-okay!" confirmed from Philip.

"You must promise, okay!", Kevin made him to promised.

" Y-yes, I promise..", replied Philip.

"Now then, get back to work!", Kevin left as he shouted at Philip.

Then, Philip was back to work as he kept thinking about what Kevin said. He confused when Kevin said Maria never stayed for long times at there and also never been there for every day. But he believed the last times, he met her four days in straight. That wasn't so strange to him, he thought she might be doing it for the good for her company. But then he also remembered Kevis said she was a spoiled and lazy woman. That was reversed things.

The day work had finished for Philip, he was going to head to the control room, but then suddenly he felt like to enjoy the evening on his post tower. Then he headed there. He climbed the stairs as he enjoyed view of the sun set, even though he had seen it a few times but..

"What a beautiful!", the words came out from his mouth as he reached the top of post tower.

"Yeah, no matter how much I've seen it!", said Maria while she was keeping on watching the view.

After a moment, Maria realized there was Philip who stared at her at the side of the post tower.

"Woow Philip!!", she shocked so much.

"Oh!?!", Philip got silent.

"You get me surprised!", said Maria.

"Oh, I'm so sorry", he said so as he immediately went down the stairs.

"Eh? Hei! Wait! Where are you going? It's you post, right? I should be the one who get over here!", said Maria as she shouted at Philip who had got down from the tower.

"Oh, it's okay, that's yours to begin with", replied Philip.

" What? What did you say? I can't hear you well. Climb up!", asked Maria.

" Oh I'm sorry, I'm sorry, boss. I don't want to be sassy or something but-..", he climbed up the tower and reached the top of the stairs.

"I see... You have known about me, huh? Hemm.. that's gonna be boring then", said Maria which cut the unfinished words of Philip.

"Eh?! Boring?!", Philip confused.

"Well then, I'll be back then..", Maria got ready to get down of the tower from the other side but...

"Wait!", Philip said it in loud.

"What?", Maria stopped.

"Why are you doing it? Why are you been here? Right now? In my post?", Philip was asking the questions.

" Do I need a reason for that?", Maria replied.

" Then, why are you giving me the drink that time?", Philip continued.

" Just thanking for your hard work. Do you think the other thing?", Maria replied.

" You are doing observation about your employees, aren't you?", Philip kept continue.

" Kind of it. I'll take my leave! Any other questions?", asked Maria.

" That's it! You're never stayed too long in here, aren't you?", Philip got serious.

" Yes. I don't have really much time here except for to check on this place condition", Maria explained.

" Then why are you here? On this tower? At this time? If you just go on check, you should have done it from a while ago, after you arrived here this afternoon, am I right?", said Philip.

" Did you see me while I was arrived here?", replied Maria.

" I saw someone climbed this tower this afternoon, but I'm not suspect you who will be that one. And yet here I found you now!", Philip said it teasingly.

" I have my own reason for it! ... I wanna see the sun set here! Is it that bad?", said Maria denying.

"Not really, but.. if I were you, I would prefer to see it from the control room because of it more convenient than here", said Philip.

" You're right! But then the other crews will find me out there and ask the same question as you did or even much!", Maria explained.

" I see, that's how is it!", Philip figured something.

" What's it now?", Maria got  troubled.

"You're not just do observation about the employees, are you? You're probably hiding something else", Philip felt that Maria being suspicious.

"Emm... Could it be? Did you notice it?",  Maria looked happy on her face.

" I don't really know, but well, that's not really good, I think. He should not say something like that about you actually. You must be have your reason for-..", Philip tried to speak up.

" Wait! He? Say what? Ah... What are you talking about anyway?", Maria cut the sentence.

" I'm talking about Kevin. You've listened about what we are talking about, right?", explained Philip.

" Kevin? What's it about? Hah... Simple minded man..", Maria was being disappointed.

" Then, what is it about? What are you talking about with Kevin? Is it about me?", Maria continued asking.

" Eh?! You don't know?!", Philip surprised.

" Yes, and now I want to!", Maria started to get mad.

" But, hmmm.. I'm sorry boss! I can't sa-..", Philip was giving his reason but suddenly Maria slapped him.

"Agh.. I am really sorry boss, I-..", Philip was apologizing, he thought he was being sassy.

"Stop it!", Maria was mad.

"But I've promised to Kevin to not to telling it", Philip continued his word.

" Stop calling me that! I hate that!", Maria said it as she started to burst in tears.

"I'm sorry..", Philip got silent.

"I'm going now!", Maria moved in rush and went away, leaving Philip there, in silence.

Tomorrow came, Philip was feeling down. He still kept thinking about yesterday. He felt guilty about what had happened to Maria, he didn't mean to make her sad. He didn't know what to do and didn't even know what made her sad that way. He spent his whole times on his tower, he didn't feel like to do anything. Long time, he was there with did nothing, not even watched the area. Suddenly Kevin's voices was being heard by him because of load speaker.

"To all guests! Please stay calm! Our crews will process the rescuing protocol! Stay on safe area and don't be panic! Our rescuing teams will take you all immediately with rescuing boats", voice Kevin on speaker.

There were some people in the middle of the sea because of their boat got sunk to the sea. That was a boat which passing the guest from the beach to the touring ship that waited in the sea. That's was one of features in that beach. Suddenly it was crush and sink that made the guests floating on the water in the middle of the sea.

" To the rescuing teams! Focus on rescuing of guests in the danger area! And all other crews please ensure the guests on the water to open up the path for the rescuing boats!", continued Kevin on speaker.

Philip was waking up and looking around to see the situation. There were some people in the danger area, their boat got sunk. Rescuing teams prepared the boats to help them out, but water was in very crowded that time. Some lifeguard crews started to ask the guests to make the path, but it still too overloaded of people there. But then he somehow saw the path route to those people in danger area. He immediately jumped from his tower to the sand, then he continued to run after did rolling and headed toward the water. Got through the crowd of people on the beach that time, to the sea side. Moving fast in the water even though there were so much people in front. He followed the path that he saw to the direction. All the people who noticed him, started to yell at him, encouraging. Loud of the crowds noticed by Kevin and rescuing teams who couldn't get through the people, they hardly moved in caused of there were too much people nearby.

In a few moments, Philip had passed the crowd and continued to get pass the  danger lines. Meanwhile in other side, under the water, some vines tangled up to the surface of water. There were below of the people who on the middle of the sea which their boat had sunk. And after some meters Philip swam, he reached those people.

"Sorry for the inconvenient, please be calm! I'll carry you all back to the sea side!", shouted Philip to those people.

" Now! Please link one of others and hold their hand tight!", Philip instructed them to hold each other hand as he gave his right hand to the nearest person on him.

"Okay, everybody has linked?!", he looked around to check their hands and they all had held each others.

"Hold tight! I'll move now!", as Philip's right hand held the hand one of guest, he started to swim.

He pulled those people alone. His speed didn't same with the last time. But it unexpected fast despite with what normal person did. His speed was still fast even had to carry some people in his hand. He concentrated on his speed to reach the safe zone. But in other side, under the water, the vines had almost got close to the group. Second by second, the group was closer to the safe zone, but the vines also almost reached them. But then, the group's speed was increasing all of sudden. The vines that almost got them, failed to catch up.

As Philip got near to the safe zone, some of his comrades as the lifeguard had came by to help him held the victims. Along with the rescuing boats that could got closer, then picked the victims up and headed towards the beach. They reached the beach along with the load of crowd people who cheering. That was really amazing performance from Philip who moved really fast, like super human in sea.

"That is really amazing, man! I still can't believe you can do something like that!", Kevin felt impressed to Philip as he  came closer to Philip who walked to the control room.

"Yeah, thanks..", Philip replied him with sad face.

" What's up, man? You look sad! Even after get so much appreciate from so much people out ther? They are cheering on you, man!", said Kevin to amused Philip.

"Emm, it's not about that... Ah, I will be back after some rest, sorry..", Philip left Kevin and headed to control room faster.

"Oh! It's okay! Take your time!", Kevin let him be alone by himself.

Philip opened the control room door, and then he was surprising that he found out Maria was there with her cheerful smile toward him. That was what on his mind. He opened the door and there was no one there, just a silent room with the view of the beach and ocean. He looked around until finally he walked slowly to the sofa that pointed to window. He was really surprised that Maria was sleeping there in her red mini dress, he stared at her long slender black hair and continued to her white skin face, sleeping face. Suddenly he started to smile. But then, she vanished as he was blinking his eyes. The smile on his face faded away. And then he laid on the sofa as he closed his eyes, that so, until he fell asleep.

Next day looked the same for him. Did the patrolling around his area, helped the guests which in the danger or just doing small things, and then came back to his post and fell asleep. Even though he started to be little famous along the teams and the people, he still showed his sad face on afterward. Some days had passed since then.

One day, he was sleeping on the sofa in control room after he's done his work like he used to. The situation there was all silent as usual. Suddenly the door was opened, someone walked close to the sofa where Philip was sleeping and stopped next to it.

"Thanks for your hard working!", the first sentence that came out from the young woman who's standing there, Maria, she was stared at Philip face then looked out the window after confirmed that he had slept.

"I used to sleep on this sofa long times ago. After finishing the check of this place, of course. All I do is just checking, but these people here are working well so there's not too much problem occurred on my checking time, that makes my checking time faster. And then, I don't know what should I do next. So I sit on this sofa while looking on the view out there. And then without realizing, I fall asleep. That repeats every day. Everybody here know about it. This place.., this control room, it used to be a loud and crowd place, but since I always sleep here, they stop to come here frequently", Maria looked around the empty and silent control room.

"And then they started to call me the 'boss' since then. I asked them to stop calling me that, but I know they're still using it when I'm not around. Then I got bored of it and stopped to came here frequently, even for the check, I stopped to doing it daily and did it when I got feels like to coming here. I came all of sudden here and immediately went back after checking time finished. I don't know why my father still ask me to doing it. I got tired of it.. at that time. Until I got to check some applications people to be hired for this place few weeks ago. That brings me back to that time..", Maria started to smile.

"A year ago, in Fallen Sky city, on that university, because of my family state, some of students there feel envious to me. They became friends of me and used me for their gained. I got tired of that. I asked them to stop doing it, but then they turned to against me, bullied me. And on the studies trip to the reservoir, they planned something bad to me. I ended up being drown there. I thought I would be gone since there was no one there beside me and those thugs. And after I lost my conscious, I wake up at the hospital. I was told that someone had helped me outta that dam and called out for ambulance. I asked out for the name, but they said he is also a student in my the university, he is rather famous on his skill in the water, that's why he could save me even though how deep that dam was. They said I was almost reached the bottom of that deep dam, I was laughing at the first time. Because.. if that's so, I should have been dead by now. But then they explained about the condition of my body depent on organical history. That said water had almost filled out my body, and stayed for some minute until it was pumped out and my organ got back to operate again... Even until now, I still can't believe that I am alive..", Maria stopped talking as the tears started to come out from her eyes.

"And then I heard there will be a swimming competition in the city, some of students spoke that he will be participating in used name of the university, I didn't know why he should participate in name of the university instead of him own. So that I came to the competition to see him. But then he didn't show up, that was rather disappointing for me but I wanted to know him so bad that finally I searched in the data competitors, then I got it. So I looked for him on next day in his class. But he never showed up for the class and then I learned that he dropped out from collage. Then, I collected his data from the university to search for his house, but that also didn't work, he has removed from there. In the end, I can't meet him in person. I end up to know him just by a foto. And that same foto, I can see it again, on the application few weeks ago.. haha..", Maria laughed a little.

" I can't believe at the first, but then, on the first day, he showed his amazing swimming skill, and that skill proof much. The person that I search for, I really want to meet, that was you. It's you, Philip... And after that test, I saw you was coming this way, to this control room. I pretended to sleep on this sofa. You stared at me so long until I opened up my eyes, and that made you surprised, didn't you? Hahaha...", Maria laughed little louder this time.

"Haa... B-bo-... You!", Philip woke up from his sleep and sat on the sofa.

"P-P-P-Philip! Did you hear that?!", Maria got surprised to find out Philip had awaken, she turned her face away as she wiped her tears from her face.

"Hear that? What's that?", Philip looked confused.

" Ah, nevermind that..", she said that as she wished he really didn't hear that and then she became quite.

"Hoo! I overslept again! Oh, but I've got finished my works, so, it's not against the rules, right?", he looked around to find it has already dark outside.

"Eh! Emm.. it's fine..", she nodded.

"Doing some checks? Has it finished?", he asked her.

" Y-yeah, it's done..", she answered it shortly.

" You will go back then..?", he was asking her if she will leave soon.

"Yeah..", she replied.

The atmosphere in that control room changed to be quiter, and the awkwardness was being felt by them. They did nothing, Philip still sat on that couch and no word was spoken.

"Emm.. h-hei..", suddenly Maria called up for Philip, but her voice was too soft that couldn't be heard by Philip.

"Emm.. P-P-Philip!", she got louder this time.

"Eh!? What's it?!", he responded her like he surprised by that called .

"Oh! Emm... It's.. hmm... H-how are you?", that's how she said.

"... Fine, I guess... You?", he replied and back to ask.

" Me? I'm good, yeah I'm fine.. ahaha..", she laughed.

" Oh, good then..", as he answered he smiled too, then he backed to sit and looked over the window again.

And then they got all silent afterward. Maria seemed to said something else, but the words were hard to come out from her mouth. She tried to split them up many times but the silent won in the end. Yet, she kept on try to speak it up.

"I'm glad you're not leaving..", said Maria after so much struggling to have no words that could come out from her mouth.

"... Leaving? Why should I?", Philip replied.

" I don't know.. just my thoughts..", she said.

" Oh, you meant about that day? You have a reason for that... And I think I get your point..", Philip explained.

" Do you mad?", she was asking.

"I don't think so... Rather than mad, I thought I would like to confront you at that time... Maybe..", that's he said.

" Eh!?", she looked little surprised.

"Oh! Sorry, nevermind, what I've said, just forget it, please..", Philip was nervous.

"... Eh, really? You mean it? Hahaha...", she laughed so much this time.

" Oh, you laugh too much... Please just forget it..", he started to get irritated by her laugh.

"Sorry, sorry... I just can't believe you will say something like that.. haha..", she said.

" What are you expecting me to say then..?", he got irritated yet he's still nervous.

"That's not like that... I think you are very kind after all, honestly... You helped the passengers of the sinked boat  last time, even thought that is very dangerous for you, especially you didn't use any swimming tools..", she talked about what had happened weeks ago.

"That's a part of the job isn't it?", he said.

" That's right but, make your life be in danger is not really what this job do, you know?! What if something happened to you? I mean, you will fail to rescuing, then they all will be failed to be saved. How's that to you?", she continued to explain.

" You mean I am dead, then so they are..?", he replied.

" No, no, that's not what I meant, but that's also can't do!", she responded Philip statement.

" The point is that you are a kind person and that's why you will do something like that, even it costs your own life, but you need to cherish your own life even more..", she continued her words.

" But I will not dead by that! I know that, yeah just like that... So, don't worry! I know what I'm doing...", he confidently said that.

" Haha... What's that supposed to be mean? You silly! Ahaha...", she laughed again.

" Stop it please... You laugh too much...", he was looking at Maria as he started to blushing.

"You're asking me to stop but actually you like it, huh? You are blushing! Do you just like me after all? Hahaha..", she said it as she continued to laughing.

"What are you talking about? Are you drunk?", Philip felt embarrassing.

"Haha... Hei, Philip! If those kind of things happen to me, will you come to safe me that fast?", she stopped to laughing.

" What are you saying, really? You are drunk, aren't you?", Philip looked at Maria face.

" Just answer it!", she was insist.

"Emm... Of course I will..", answered Philip.

" Not will! You must! And you have to do it really quick, okay!", she insisted.

"Okay, okay..", he replied.

" You promise me, you got it!", she asked him to promise her.

" Yeah, I promise..", he replied.

And then she was laughing while walked away that door, she was leaving.
