Getting such information, Nadine finally walked through the back door of the cafe after passing the kitchen. She immediately headed for the ATM corner which provided ATMs from various banks.

At that moment, it was not so dark as the generator immediately turned on the emergency lamps. However, the electricity supply from the generator was only turned on specifically for emergency lights and other critical supporting facilities.

Nadine felt super upset when she found out that the ATM could not be used as it was not supported by the power supply. She was also annoyed with herself, for suddenly becoming a fool. She forgot that if there was a blackout, all the things powered by electricity would also out of service.

Overwhelmed by resentment, she walked out, looking for an ATM outside the mall.

Luckily, Nadine found a usable ATM inside a small grocery store on the block opposite the mall.
