42 A Rocking Car

Velina woke up that morning with her head still slightly felt dizzy.

She blinked her eyes, in an attempt to have a better sight.

She lied still on her very soft mattress, while she observed the ceiling that she found super interesting that morning, she let out a breath, let out a long sigh.

She then glanced at the watch she put on her wrist. It was already ten in the morning. Suddenly, her eyes widened, she then immediately got up from her lovely bed.

She could not really remember the last time she'd woken up this late.

After she brushed her teeth and washed her face, Velina immediately went downstairs to have breakfast.

That morning, it was quiet as usual. Naturally, all of her family members must have gone to their respective offices.

However, no one woke her up.

Indeed, ever since they all became adults, the disciplinary rules in this house seemed to have disappeared altogether.
