A Disastrous Fad

Several days have passed since the night of Nico Marcello's birthday party.

There wasn't much that Velina could do at Marcello's mansion.

In the living room, she flipped through Nadine's business magazines. Her younger sister worked as a board of directors at their family-owned bank.

She was completely oblivious when someone was sneaking upon her.

While she looked seriously reading a magazine, her mind kept turning back to the moment where Daniel walked to her at her grandfather's party and smiles awkwardly at her.

Without realizing it, she smiled at herself.

Suddenly, someone ambushed her from behind.

The man immediately covered Velina's eyes with both of his hands.

He stifled a giggle, thought that his prank would work.

Startled, Velina reflexively locked one of the man's hands, and quickly slammed his body forward.

"Praaaaaang!"

"Aaaaaaaaaaah!"

The sound of the broken glass table coincided with the sound of a man who was in pain.

Velina looked very surprised when she realized who the man was right in front of her, lying on the floor accompanied by shards of glass scattered all over the place.

Not long after, several guards came running into the living room, checking the situation because they suddenly heard someone shouting.

How shocked they were when they saw, it turned out that the person lying on the floor was… Marino!

They all looked at each other, holding back smiles that would soon turn to laughter.

"Hahaha! Oh My God! Marino!" Velina laughed loudly as she covered her stomach with her left hand while her right hand waved the guards to leave immediately.

The pain Marino was suffering was not as intense as his embarrassment, a big man of a 185cm tall, was slammed hard by a woman even shorter than him.

"Damn you! Help me up!" Marino tried to stand up, but his palms, which tried to support his own weight, were hit by tiny glass shards.

Seeing that her brother was bleeding, she immediately ordered someone to call their family doctor right away.

"It's a good thing that Nadine isn't home! If she was, she'd have passed out!" Velina said while holding back her laughter.

Their youngest sister was indeed a type of a serious person with a sharp mouth, but for some reason, she could get nauseous and even fainted if she saw blood.

"Anyway, what were you doing!" Velina asked, her left hand on her hips and her other hand scratching her chin.

"I was going to give you a prank, as I was going to say, 'guess ... who is this?'" He admitted, acting cute like a teenager.

Velina couldn't hide her laughter even more.

This brother of hers was so ridiculous!

No wonder he was suitable to befriend Mickey, whose face was super cute, very much alike to a South Korean actor named Kim Min-Kyu.

"You are too stupid! You already knew that I was good at martial arts! It automatically made my reflex movements are very strong!" She crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"You're not a romantic! Everyone else knows a little bit how to be childish, but you!!" Marino grumbled in annoyance that her sister didn't want to apologize to him.

"Why pretend to be a romantic if your girlfriend always dumps you?" Velina replied, sticking out her tongue.

While they were busy arguing, their family doctor finally arrives. He immediately examined Marino's wounds.

Apparently, at that time, Marino returned home because he unintentionally left several official documents that had to be signed by him at home.

When he just got home and saw Velina who was daydreaming incoherently, a playful intention appeared in his head.

Unfortunately, his fad idea was disastrous for himself.

Velina looked at the clock.

It was three in the afternoon at that time.

Suddenly, Velina thought of something. She immediately took out a card and showed it to Marino.

"Do you know where is this?" she asked him matter-of-factly.

Marino glanced at the card. "The place is right across from my office! Are you going there?" he asked.

Velina suddenly smiled happily and nodded vigorously.

Although she was born and raised in the city of Jet, she was not very familiar with this city.

She was lazy to go anywhere except for visiting museums or traveling to historical places abroad.

Before long, Velina was ready with her gym bag.

Her hair was in a ponytail and she wore a short jeans, a short white t-shirt, and also her white 70 'converse shoes.

Even though she still has European blood, she still looked younger than her actual age.

Marino stared at his beautiful sister, shaking his head, 'no wonder that dry chamois is so fond of this shrew' he thought to himself.

About 30 minutes later, they finally arrived at Marino's office. After parking the vehicle in the basement of Val Entertainment building, Marino said, "Call me up if you want to go home together with me!"

Velina simply showed the code 'okay' by arching her thumb and index finger.

With cheerful steps, she immediately walked out of the parking area, and could not wait for the red light to quickly cross the street.

In front of her, stood a building that looked modern and magnificent with the sign 'Velmar Club' written in large letters with a type of writing that made it look even more elegant.

Her smile was getting happier as she steadily crossed the street.

Her heartfelt even more pounding when she walked closer to the building.

Before entering the building, she took a deep breath.

Then, having made up her mind, she finally entered the Velmar Club building with confidence.
