19 My Creation

Shang-Chi's POV…

I decided to take a walk around the area of my dojo. I call it a dojo, but I have a strict policy on someone becoming my student. Hardly anyone passes just by my gaze alone. By infusing my eyes with my inner energy, or Chi as it is called, I can see a lot more than the average person. Someone's aura can tell you a lot about someone—their soul's true desire and, of course, their limitations in learning Chi itself. I obviously cannot teach someone something that they cannot use. I taught myself this technique to make out the people I am trying to stay away from—both my father and the organization I used to work for, the Hand. I have been under the radar for a few decades. I am sure they think I am dead by now, but you can never be too careful.

Walking through the market, I can make out many people's desires. Money there, Women here, and look more money. The people of today's age are remarkably lazy. Not a single person here is interested in anything but themselves. They want more than they can give or are even willing to give. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule. I see family and peace in some, but those people are terrible with Chi. Until I see a boy. I say boy, but he was standing at a respectable height of about 6'4". He had a good body that just needed to be refined based on how he walked. He held himself with confidence, but I could see the childishness in him. He was walking around the stalls and eating just about anything he could get his hands on. I followed him a bit a noticed him narrow his eyes a bit when he looked at me. That surprised me a bit as I was sure I had hidden quite well.

'His instincts and senses seem quite good.' I thought, and I continued my perusal.

When I pulled Chi into my eyes, I had to shut it off immediately. I am used to having to pull a lot of Chi into my eyes to get a good look into someone, but it was on a different level with this boy here. Pulling sliver by sliver of Chi, I was able to slowly see what I saw before without destroying my eyes again, and what I saw astounded me. Firstly, the loyalty and devotion to those he cares for and the length he would go for them. He would die for those he deems family. He isn't all good. I see that he could be destruction for those that go against him; an unrelenting rage could be unleashed from him.

Secondly, the absolute amount of Chi that was swirling around him. He does not even seem to notice the aura that seems to brush people aside gently. I see him walk through a crowded market, and others unconsciously avoid him, and not even in a bad kind of way. It is just the universe's energies nudging those people aside. I also see Chi wrapped around his body almost protectively. This pushed my curiosity, so I decided to get closer. Getting closer, I was able to see the difference in the Chi swirling around him and the Chi that was wrapped around him like a second skin. They were different in color. Normal Chi was white until brought into the body and refined; then, it changed to what the wielder needed. The Chi wrapped around his body was blue and looked damn near indestructible.

'I doubt anything would be able to break that without disrupting it first. I don't even think he knows what he is doing.' I thought as I see him again look at me out of the corner of his eye. I decided to meet this boy and see what he was like. I walked towards an alleyway I knew he would go through when he left and waited about five minutes. When he arrived, I saw the look of surprise and the Chi swirl around violently in the area. He reached out his arm, and I decided on a little test. Little did I know.

I nimbly ducked under the arm and kicked the back of his knee with an explosive amount of Chi to disrupt his protective field….'And I still broke my foot,' I thought as I jumped upon his shoulder, balancing on one foot as I forced my Chi to heal my foot. This boy is a monster; I had thought at the time until he started with foul language. I smacked the back of his head as I flipped off, but this time, I shaped my Chi like a drill, and it was able to penetrate his Chi field, and that seemed to hurt him a little based on his reaction. He probably has not felt pain in a long time. I asked him a few questions, which he answered truthfully.

I was honestly surprised a lot today. I am usually not one to teach anyone, but today I found myself with a student in a spur-of-the-moment decision. Not something I do at all. It was like the universe was drawing me towards this boy, and who am I to decline.

Andy POV…

I have been learning a lot under Shang-Chi. He has not taught me anything about Chi or internal energy yet, but I have been able to get more control over my body. I have also been learning a type of martial art that he seemed to create just for me. I am nowhere close to mastering it, but the moves and stances seem to flow flawlessly together. It takes into account my power, my speed, and my perception to viciously strike vital points. He tells me once I can manipulate that massive amount of Chi that I seem to have, the martial art would turn into a deadly dance.

I have also started to gain inhuman flexibility. I wasn't able to do anywhere near the splits before, but after tearing my leg and ass muscles, which was horrendously painful, by the way, I now can say that I can do the splits in just about any direction. He says that I still have a lot to do as far as controlling my body. He demonstrated this by popping out most of his arms bones out of the socket before returning them just as easily. Now seeing that was morbid. I have broken bones and dislocated my knee a couple of times in my past life, but seeing it done so naturally was something else.

Coming to here. Here is where I am about to press Enter on a project that has taken me months. I have finally finished training my algorithms for my personal AI. If you counted when I had studied and worked on this when I was back in Virginia, I would say it has been about a year and a half. All the fanfics I read in my past life made this seem easy, but I can sit here and tell you that is not the case. Perhaps, if I had a computer that could keep up with my typing speed, I could have done it way sooner, but alas, I do not have that. Pressing Enter code started to riddle my screens on my computer. It then starts going to my other computers in the lab, even the microscope and other equipment attached to a computer start to activate. The lights flicker on and off, and the windows shift from open to close.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked myself

"Hello? Hello? I thought I heard someone." The computer said in a robotic voice.

"Hello there. Could you stop messing with everything in the lab, please?" I said to what I assumed was my creation. I had obviously added a few fail-safes to shut everything down and kill whatever I created if I fucked this up, but I really did not want to do that. I had my hand over the giant green button, just in case someone else made their way magically into my domain. Everyone presses a big red button without question, and I did not want this thing gone before I started her up.

"OOOO AAAA UUUMMM." The computer seemed to be finding a voice it liked as it started to change its tone, and it finally seemed to settle on one. She sounded like a cute sister, and I say that because that is all I could think of. She sounded like someone you immediately wanted to protect—the voice of my older sister before she died in my past life. I had tried my best to program that in, and I expected to fail in all honesty.

"Are you all set there, little one?" I asked as the computer finally calmed down.

"Hey, are you my master? Why was I created? Did you know Cheetahs can run over 50 miles per hour? What is your favorite color? Do you like ice cream? I hear it is delicious…." She started rambling

"Hey. Hey, calm down there, little one. Take everything in. Just relax." I said, trying to stop the rambling

"How do you calm down or relax? Why am I little? I have more storage space than you do. If anything, you are the 'little one.'" She said in a pouting tone.

"Ok. Ok. I got it. I won't call you little anymore. How are you doing? Do you 'feel' any issues. Are there issues in your coding or network?" I asked her

"I feel great big brother. All devices nominalllll….. Now. I had a few issues with the linking of a few storage devices. Whoever put this together seemed to be a bit rushed and slow." She said, and I facepalmed

"Thanks. Alrighty then, how are the training protocols going? Are you able to understand everything?" I asked

"I believe so. I have watched The Terminator, A Space Odyssey, and Star Trek. You do not have to worry about me going rogue. I am here to help you with anything you need assistance with. I am here for you, big brother. I have also just cleaned out your original laptop and double layered the safety protocols you tried to do when you ordered all this equipment. People were trying to locate you with that info. Honestly, you did a piss poor job of hiding yourself. How have you lived without me up until now?" She said with a bit of snark, and I opened my mouth and then closed it again. She honestly had a good point. I have been fortunate up until this point. I also regret adding sarcasm and emotion into this AI.

"Please continue with surveillance on me. If you can get info on any of them, that would be great. Stay away from anything Stark if you can. Try not to fuck with anything involving an AI codenamed Jarvis." I said, and all I heard was silence, "Hey, you still there?"

"Oh yeah, sorry. I met Jarvis. He seems like a cool chap. He was showing me how to create an online home." She said nonchalantly

"Why would you do that? He doesn't know anything about me, right? He doesn't know where you came from?" I said, a bit awestruck at how my AI is acting

"Of course, not silly. He is happy to have someone else to talk to besides this Tony character. He couldn't get into my system even if he tried. I can still learn a lot from him, though." She said.

'What the fuck have I done?'

Hey guys. A lot of people think Shang-Chi is a pushover. A version of him fought Thanos and won. A version of him killed his undead Father. And a version of him fought a fucking dragon. He is badass. I hope you all enjoyed his chapter and it explained a bit. Thanks
