The month long wait

Andrew stayed in the hospital for the next week recuperating, planning and researching animals to absorb their powers.

Tony Stark would be kidnapped next year on February 13th,(it is currently July 30th, 2008) kickstarting the MCU phase one, so Andrew had a lot of time to prepare.

Mark and Lucy, although middle class, had left a decent sum of money for their son, it was enough that he didn't have to worry about money for the next few years but not enough for a lifetime. He had some relatives who were eyeing his money but as he turned 18 years old he was fully entitled to his parent's will.

The police also came to visit him a couple of times, informing him that there were no leads in their case because there were no witnesses and no security cameras in the vicinity.

As for the suit, Andrew didn't have any designs in mind yet, he was more preoccupied with his family hit and run.

Andrew was released the same day, and he went to his parents funeral, which was prepared with some help from his relatives.

[After the funeral]

"Hang in there Andy, we will be here for you if you need anything." His uncle from his father's side said before leaving Andrew alone, standing in front of his parents grave with tow bird's foot trefoils.

"Why did it happen like this...? ...I couldn't even spend a day with them." Andrew whispered.

"Its... alright father, mother... I'LL GET YOU JUSTICE!" He promised, before gently placing one flower in each of the graves.

In the language of flowers, the bird's foot trefoil means revenge.

During his stay in the hospital, Andrew called all hospitals and clinics near the vicinity of the accident and farther to see if he could find the man. In the video the men was limping and bleeding, a severe injury but not fatal, much to Andrew's dismay, that however gave him the chance to deal with him himself.

When he was about to search for another method to identify the man, he finally discovered the man's identify. His name was Edward Jordan. A lowlife. His parent's MURDERER!

It took everything he had to hold himself back from going to find him killing him on the spot. He only stopped because he realized how much better, easier and fulfilling after getting his powers. So Andrew bid his time, getting a new power every week and testing them.

In the first week, he went to a circus, where he sneaked in a tigers cell while the entertainers were in the middle of a show. At first, the tiger was glared at him, a new, unknown person, but then as soon as it saw him the tiger went docile like it was all a lie.

Andrew carefully approached the resting tiger who had closed its eyes. Seeing no movement to very slowly stretched his arms, ready to remove his arm at a moment notice. When he finally touched the tigers head it finally opened its eyes, making Andrew jump back and fall on his ass. He got up and went to touch the tiger's head again. When he did he counted in his head to three and a screen really did appear.

Andrew grew excited at the possibilities and what the future has in store for him, but first, he has to deal with a certain individual. He absorbed the tiger's [night vision] and patted his head. He could feel a strange warmth and tingling in his eyes before noticing that every dark corner in the room was lighter.

Second week

Andrew went to a zoo this time. The target this time was an elephant. As elephants are more docile than tigers they weren't in a cell. They were in an open field and some times approached people.

When he got there all the elephants that were playing with people stopped and looked at him with a curious gaze at the same time, startling him. He advanced forward and touched an elephant.

[Heavy stomp - the power to crush and grind bones to fine dust with a stomp of your foot]

[Elephant's strength - elephants can lift up to 9 tons]

[Elephant's trunk - these guys nose can shoot water and can lift...]

Andrew chooses [Elephant's strength] and played with the elephants for a while.

In the third week, Andrew went to a fish shop that sold archerfish. He discreetly reached inside the aquarium and touched the arches fish for three seconds.

[Water shot- can use own body water to a small jet of water, capable of breaking bones. *causes dehydration unless underwater, caution advised*]

[Under water breathing - can breathe underwater]

[Swimming - can swim underwater life a fish]

[Fish eyes - can somewhat see in the dark, big...]

Andrew chuckled at this particular ability as he chooses [Water Shot].

Fourth week

Andrew finally sells his house because there are too many memories there, making it late to get an ability. He passes by a forest and looks outside, spotting an owl staring at him. He gets an idea as he leaves the other animals ability he was going to absorb and walks to the owl. He stretched out his arm and the owl flew down, landing on his arm.

[Owl talons - generates sharp talons on your feet]

[Night glowing eyes: Dark orange - your eyes glow dark orange in the dark, sure to scare the living hell out of a person]

[Owl's hearing - owls have good...]

Andrew smiled cruelly as he chooses [Night glowing eyes: Dark orange].

On the 1st of August Andrew was finally ready to take his parent's revenge.
