Opposites

On another plane

"Here comes another one, when will I be free of this job."

On this plane where gods reside far out of reach, there is a lonely and bored god, a god of reincarnation. This certain individual has been doing this job for millennia upon millennia.

"Out of all the humans I reincarnated none of them have been able to do anything significant, always getting carried away and dying prematurely."

This was true, as humans tend to reach. A prime being that fits this example is one Alden Walker. Alden was an assh*le. He was good looking, had money, and the smarts, basically a winner in life. He, however, was also a playboy, cheated in school and wasted his money on more girls. He had it all and wasted it.

By either good or bad luck, opportunity and an alleged slice of divine intervention, he ended saving a child that was about to be hit by a car, making him into the perfect target for reincarnation. When he awoke within god's realm even after witnessing a divine being as a God he didn't wait for him to finish its explanation of future events.

He ended up wasting his three wishes on a system that essentially did all the work for him, another was wasted on making him even more good looking than he already is, and lastly an unnecessarily large rod that would make it hard to do whatever he has in mind.

After all that, the god of reincarnation was finally able to get rid of the little assh*le. Of course not before Alden left while madly laughing how he was gonna be the best hero the world has ever seen and how he would get all the girls.

Alden was reincarnated while still madly laughing for five minutes, making people avoid the dark alley even more than usual. During that time he failed to notice the armed mugger making its way to him, also the system notification to open the [starter pack].

"Give me all your money creep! Now!"

At this point, Alden finally stopped laughing and sneered at the mugger.

"Look at this guy, he can't even recognize his betters. If you kneel now and apologize for crimes you committed, you may just leave here alive."

The mugger had a dumbfounded look on his face, 'this dude's ego is over 9000' he thought. While Alden was thinking, 'Ha! Look at this pathetic excuse for a human being, he is about to piss his pants just by facing my HERO aura.'

The mugger, not wanting to deal with this guy anymore and thinking he might as well do the world a favor just shot Alden in the chest 3 times, patted Alden down, sneering when he noticed that Alden was just as poor as him and fleeing the scene.

Ant that's the story of Alden Walker, the little assh*le. May he forever burn in hell.

*

Remembering that little sh*t left a bad taste in the god's mouth, even if he was laughing he ass out afterward.

Wanting to get this new reincarnation done as quickly as possible he hurriedly called the soul up.

The god sighed with visible relief on his face when he checked the soul's memories and found him to be a normal, healthy teenager, albeit a very normal one. He chuckled when he discovered the reason for Andrew's reincarnation, for even people that have not done great deeds in life get to reincarnate.

This was true for Andrew's case. He was a very pure soul, not contaminated by his surroundings. He was a very rare case of love, devotion, and appreciation to the one thing he loved in life, the MCU.

I've got an idea where I want to take this novel but maybe that's too ambitious for a first-time writer like me. Maybe I'm the one who is reaching lol
