10 Chapter#10

177A Bleecker Street

A rather handsome man came out of the Sanctum Sanctorum with a small brown bag hanging on his shoulder.

Behind him is an open door being held by an Asian-descent man.

"So...this is a goodbye for now...Master Wong." Noah said as he gave Wong a small bow.

"Enough with the pleasantries, come here!" Wong said as he rushed to Noah for a hug.

"HAHAHA, goodbye Wong," Noah muttered as he hugged Wong with a smile on his face.

"No homo." The two said it at the same time.

"HAHAHAHA, you're learning from me, man!" Noah said as he slapped Wong on the shoulder with controlled strength...Noah can lift weights over 25 tons, of course, he controlled his strength.

"Yeah, HAHA," Wong said, slapping Noah too.

"Yeah, pak!*" Noah replied, slapping Wong again.

"You-" Wong had enough, but he couldn't vent since Noah was already aboard the bus, with a triumphant smirk on his face.

"Tsk," Wong uttered as he closed the doors of the New York sanctum.

--------------------------------------------------

"Hehe, sucks to be you, my friend." I uttered as I saw Wong close the door to the Sanctum with a scowl on his face.

I looked to my side and saw a dark-skinned man.

"Hey, can I ask you for the date today? I'd appreciate it," I asked him in a friendly way.

"Yeah, it's Nov. 2, Monday, mate," he said, returning my smile.

"I see. Thanks, man." I was returning to my chair when suddenly I heard a chuckle from a child on my left side.

"Googa gogaga"

A baby, not more than a year old, is situated in a bus crib, smiling while looking at me.

"Hey, does anyone know whose baby is this?" I asked the other people in the bus.

"Yeah, some morons accidentally left that baby, I'll leave that later to the authorities near the D.H.S." The bus driver replied while looking at me through the mirror.

"I see... thanks, man," I said, and I thanked him, to which he only nodded.

"Gahhh! Gahhh!" The baby suddenly cried, and my sensitive nose were assaulted by a nauseating smell.

"Ugh!" I groaned as I covered my nose.

"Why? what happened?" The bus driver asked.

"He pooped," I said to him while covering my nose, though it can only do so much due to my superhuman senses.

"HAHAHA, just wait a couple blocks, hey, do you think you can pass the baby to them? I've already called the officials who will receive that kid." The bus driver asked me, making me ponder for a second.

'I think I can spend another few hours' I thought to myself.

"Yeagh, shure" I said, still covering my nose tightly.

A few minutes later, we arrived at the City of New York Department of Health and Services. The bus driver dropped me off while I was carrying the baby.

"Let's get you settled in now," I uttered to the baby, who was poking my eyes.

A few minutes later, I talked with the authorities, who told me to stay for a few minutes and gave me legal paperwork that I needed to sign.

Right now I'm in the daycare center watching over the baby while reading a kid's story that I've found by the side. I've been over here for about 20 minutes, and the man in blue said that the parents had already called to get him.

The man in blue asked me to stay to meet the parents, and receive a proper thank you from them. I already said no, thank you, but the man was stubborn and said a rightful man such as me must be thanked.

I don't know what he's trippin about, but I just decided to do what he said because I found a rather interesting children's story in here that I want to read.

I was reading the book quite seriously when suddenly I heard the hurried steps of two men going in the direction where the daycare is.

'Why is this so familiar? Déjà vu?' I pondered in curiosity.

"Oh, Ben!" "Hey, buddy." Two male voices resounded at the entrance of the daycare.

'Ohhh.' I thought in realization.

The two of them greeted two different babies, and when they realized that, they looked at each of the two.

I was in front of them, thrilled, though it looks like they're too busy to notice me.

"Please tell me you know which one is our baby," Chandler said while eyeing Joey intensely.

Joey, who was panicking while looking at each of the babies, said,

"Well, that one has ducks on his T-shirt, and this one has clowns." He said, while looking at each of the baby's shirts as he continued,

"And Ben was definitely wearing ducks," He said as he pointed to the baby, which has a duck T-shirt.

"Okay!" Chandler said in relief but suddenly stopped when Joey said in an unsure tone.

"Or clowns."

Joey pondered on himself for a few seconds, trying to remember something.

"Oh! Oh, wait, that one's definitely Ben! Remember he had that cute little mole by his mouth!?" Joey said while pointing at the duck T-shirt baby.

"Yeah?" Chandler asked in glee

"Yeah!" Joey answered,

"Hey, Ben remember us?" Chandler said, but as he was about to pick up the baby, he suddenly backed off.

"Okay, the mole came off." Chandler said, shocking Joey.

Not knowing what to do, they decided to just flip it with a coin, which Joey smartly suggested...

"We'll flip for it, ducks or clowns,"

"Flip for the baby?" Chandler asked with skepticism.

"You got a better idea?" Joey inquired Chandler

"Alright, call it in the air," Chandler said as he tossed the coin upwards.

"Heads," Joey called,

"Heads, it is." Chandler said as he saw the result of the coin toss.

"Yes!" Joey exclaimed in excitement.

Chandler suddenly realized something. He held Joey's shoulder and said,

"We have to assign heads with something." while clenching his jaw.

"Right... okay, okay, uh...ducks is heads because ducks have heads." Joey said nervously.

"What kind of scary-ass clowns came to your birthday? Chandler asked with a frown.

"Ahem!" I cough to make them look at me, which they did.

I can't take it anymore, these guys, they're good, I don't know why I didn't stop them from the beginning, I just did it...

"Pfft-Ahem, cough!*" Stopping myself from laughing my a*s off is much harder than I thought.

"I was the one who found your baby." I said that as a start.

"...And that's your baby," I said as I pointed at the baby with the clown T-Shirt.

"How you know which is ours?" Chandler asked,

"Yeah, maybe this is ours," Joey said as he pointed at the duck T-shirt baby.

The true reason is that because I can smell the scent of the clown T-shirt baby in them, meaning, the possibility that the clown one is Ben is much higher than that of the duck one, I can't smell any of their scent in the duck T-shirt baby, and vice versa.

"Well, you're the only parent that already called for their baby, right? The other one's parent hasn't called, and the man said that the parents of the baby that I found have already called, which means the baby that I found right here..." I explained to them as I picked Ben up.

"Is the baby of the both of you." I finished as I gave Ben to Chandler and smiled at Joey with a nod.

"Really?" Joey asked, on the verge of crying.

"Yeah, we can ask the man at the help desk if that will help you."

"Yeah, I think we will do that. By the way, can I ask for your name?" Chandler asked with an appreciative smile.

"...Oh, yeah, my name's Noah, Noah Argento." I said as I raised my hand for a shake.

"Nice to meet you, Noah. I'm Chandler." Chandler said as he shook my hand.

"My name's Joey, Joey Tribbiani," Joey said as he shook my hand for a shake too.

And that's how the group of friends added another unusual individual to their group. One's a blind attorney and the future devil of the night, while the other is a transmigrated teen and the future Violet Knight. Nothing could ever go wrong...maybe.

(A/N: I made sure they picked the correct baby, I rewatched that episode a hundred times just for this scene. Check the scene 0:07 and scene 15:27 of season 2, episode 6 of Friends. I've checked every detail of Ben's shirt, and the colors and design are very similar to the clown design in 15:27. It all checks out that his shirt was the clown one. Thank you.)
