4 Regeneration

"No problem bud what's up?" I ask wanting this to speed along as I have something in mind I wish to do in this new world. "Well do you mind taking that helmet off first?" he asks to which I chuckle as I'm not that stupid. Shaking my head, he breaks out in a chuckle too. "At least I tried"

"But moving on. I'm gonna have to ask of you to come with us peacefully while surrendering your weapons and...robot" he says as I immediately shake my head when it came to Juliett.

"No can do Agent. She's my Titan and other half. And I have no doubt you and your men will just break her down into pieces to study and use as your own" I say strongly with a tone of no negotiation as I step closer to Juliett.

Seeing his hand slowly inch towards his sidearm, I speak up. "I don't want anyone to get hurt bud. Don't make me do this" I say with a tired tone as he gives an understanding yet sad look. "I have my orders to bring you in. I'm sorry sir" he says as he quickly reaches for his sidearm. Dashing towards him with superhuman speed, I reach him just as he pulls his pistol out of his holster and points it at me. Quickly disarming him and pointing the gun at his head in return, he freezes at the situation. I stand confident that his agents won't open fire due to me and Agent Coulson being in such close proximity.

As I decide to speak out once more and clear my throat first, he takes the chance to attempt to disarm me in return to which I block his futile attempts. Grabbing and raising him by the throat, I retreat back to Juliett as she opens the cockpit reading my intentions. Tossing aside Agent Coulson as I simultaneously jump into the cockpit, I quickly attempt to activate two of the most ridiculous things my customized baby of a Titan has in her.

"Juliett, activate Permanent Cloak and Flight!" to which she quickly obeys as we turn invisible to the eye. Jumping into the air, Juliett activates Flight with her wings to which we go airborne. Gaining feet as we fly above the buildings, I ask Juliett that we move somewhere else and find a place to settle down. "Copy that Pilot"

As we fly above the buildings, I can't help but sigh at my attempt of being a good person. Being a good person really does get you nowhere I thought to myself. I go over what I could've done better and if I did anything wrong concerning how I disarmed the agent. Sighing as dealing with normal humans in normal circumstances has lost most of the thrill, my thoughts drift off to the past to when I first gained these superhuman abilities that made things so much easier yet lackluster.

The mysterious process known as the Regeneration from the group known as the Advocates. Known to invite pilots from any side of the Frontier to go through the process, it is said that the end results is a "refreshed" body.

Giving the Pilot's body an enhanced rate of learning at which they can learn and react to information. But there's no such thing as a free gift on the Frontier. The price is losing some of your memory and experience.

I was given an invitation to which I agreed to take with the drive to grow stronger and better than that of my current self at that time. Little did I know that the process I went through was not just the Regeneration. When I first awoke, I quickly searched through my memories to discover there was nothing I was missing. Confused, I sat up to have had a horrible headache to which I squeezed the cold railing near me as I dealt with the pain.

As the headache soon went away, I realized how tightly I gripped the railing and let go to which I saw how much of a dent I left on the railing. After that, I soon was left to discover the changes I went through from super strength to still being granted the enhanced rate of learning.

And to this day, I remain wondering why it was me who was given such a seemingly free gift. Shrugging it off once again as it's something I most likely won't ever be able to figure it out now, I decide to leave everything up to Juliett as I have been running on fumes from how exhausted I am mentally even with the short nap I had.

"Juliett...I'll be leaving this beauty of a plane in your hands" I say with a joking and sleepy tone. The heavy pull of my eyelids sends me off to dreamland as I miss the unusually strange human like humor from Juliett. "Ladies and gentlemen, Juliett Airlines would like to remind you to remain seated with your seat belts fastened as this will be quite the long ride."
