*Hey there! Thanks for reading this chapter! I hope this chapter is of your liking. I know starting our journey so much back in time might not be a very popular decision. Just wanted to try my hand and make, what I myself consider a very interesting premise, something new and interesting for you to read.

Sure, rewatching both the Viking series and Vinland Saga anime, on top of finally getting to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla are definitely the main reasons why I will be taking my time around this time period.

I want your opinion on how I will be power scaling Thor.

In his base Asgardian form, I would describe him: As being able to resist telepathy in various degrees, regardless of what his MCU version might lead you to believe. He already has a basic grasp of weather control and electrokinesis, so I will be going with the idea that Mjølnir only helped him channel his Godly powers instead of being its source.

Obviously, he will eventually be able to fly and teleport. His sights range could reach solar system level and will be able to track objects moving faster than light speed, with his hearing range capable of reaching planetary level due to obvious limitations.

Being considered a very strong Asgardian his strength often reached 100 tons while being able to fight for 24 hours without fatigue. His speed canonically had reached mach 32, so you should expect some feats around that, despite having denser tissue capable of easily resisting bullets. In case of harm, slash and punctures were described to heal in hours, while broken bones could take a few days. But he won't be able to regrow limbs or internal organs without special means or circumstances. Fortunately he has at least poison/disease immunity.

I expect his lifespan to reach at least half a billion years, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll heavily refer to his lineage in my story. With his aesir might (master combatant) and vanir magic (innate connection to the arcane).

Obviously he will have the intellect of a genius (hopefully I will manage to portray it realistic, but I won't make any promises). Allspeak grants him the ability to understand and speak all languages, so you can definitely count Groot's language fluency down the line.

The Thorforce is my plot device to make the story progress according to how I envision it. Kind of a mixture between the usual Odinforce/sleep with the plot thread where Thor once assumed the mortal guises of the Germanic heroes Siegmund and his son, Siegfried. Which served as a protoversion of his "banishment" to Midgard as a mortal to become worthy of wielding Mjolnir.

In his current human form, his Divine soul made the new vessel basically Captain America's level of power, which staked with the training got under Odin and Frigga's tutelage.

Despite not appreciating the end product we got from the Love and Thunder movie, I went with the concept of infant Thor accompanying his parents around even actual battlefields (joined raids in muspelheim and jotunheim). My MC has had the opportunity of witnessing the dwarven arts in Nidavellir (which actually was located underneath Asgard), learned some survival skills with the light elves in the woods of Alfheim (after all, his mother is a mixture of Frigg and Freya, if you've played God of War Ragnarok and its prequel, you might be picturing her as a archdruid or something like that).

I know it doesn't make sense that Loki is in

Asgard before 965 AD (the year that Odin adopted her). But I changed it to suit my story of encompassing the official start of the Viking age better. You may have noticed that I'm altering the canon source a lot so I would recommend just coming to term with it.

Any ideas for weapons, powers and anything else that might be a good match with my fic is more than welcomed. I might not end up using anything, but you will have my gratitude for trying.
