1 Reincarnation

"Damn.." The young man sighs from the frustrating work and hits his head on the vintage wooden table. It was so old you could hear the sound of the table cracking under the pressure. He then got up out of his matching chair and walked towards the fridge to drink his third Redbull that night.

It was the day before finals and he didn't wanted to get a bad grade, neither did anybody else. He was tired of just being mediocore, and so he studied his hardest all day long in expectance of a good grade for finals.

He then after finishing the Redbull pushed through for the last couple of minutes to finish up the english work he was doing and then hit the hay. The next morning he got up, ready for the finals reading the things he wasn't too good on while walking to his campus.

Taking a seat in his chair the teacher explained the finals then passed the papers out. You could most definetly feel the tension in the room, everybodys stress levels were off the charts. Constant thoughts of 'What if i do bad. What will my mom think. What if I bomb it'.

But not Avery, he was perfectly calm breathing in and out slowly showing that he was more than ready to take this test. Recieving the paper he zooms off calculating as fast as he could all other people slightly shocked from how fast he was going.

Halfway through the test he significantly slows down, using so much brainpower in the beginning he slowly forgot some parts of the other equations and problems. He curses himself silently while trying his best to mantain his work speed.

To no avail he continues to try his best for the rest of the time he has and finally finishes after a long forty five minutes. Anxiety attacks him after turning in his paper the same questions that went through others heads nke went through his own. Angry at his over-confidence he then asks to go to the bathroom to vent out his frustration elsewhere.

Once inside one of the stalls he punches the wall in which he instantly regrets due to the thumping pain coming from his fist. He groans and crys silently to himself as everyone else in the testing room is taking their test.

He was in the stall for quite the amount of time so much so that one of his classmates went to go check on him only to hear that Avery was crying. The man goes over to the stall and asks solemly, "You ok in there man." Hearing his friends voice Avery pulls himself together and says, "Yeah, just a little down."

He then walks out of the stall while his friend goes in for a "bro hug" in which Avery does not reject. They both then walk out of the bathroom and back into their classroom while waiting for a couple of people to finish.

After everybody was done everybody was dismissed and was told to go home. With these instructions Avery leaves school and starts walking home when suddenly he gets a call named [Dave] not knowing who this guy is he answers while continuouly walking. The man then says, "Avery, your destined for more so dont waste this new chance." After hearing that Avery was confused.

What did that guy mea- before Avery could finish that thought he heard a loud honk before his vision goes dark.

Blinking over and over his vision slowly recovers only for him to realize that he was in some sort of labortory not the street. Confused he then took a look at his surronding more closley, it seemed as if he was in some sort of sleeping pod since he could see other people sleeping in things similar to his.

Did he suddenly reincarnate into a mad scientist's guinny pig. Oh no, no no no no no this is not good! If he was some sort of guinny pig wouldn't that mean there would be expeirments. One could only wonder what type of expeirments would require human subject without free will.

Only something ridiculous could be thought of. Anyways after observing my surrondings and regaining my normal thought process I then waited. Namely because there was nothing I could do.

Im locked up in this weird capsule in this labatory not knowing anything about the facility besides that their were other humans here. WAIT- THERE WERE OTHER HUMANS HERE.

Instantly Avery then tried speaking to the other human subject next to him.
