''You're next,'' Ryu said, his voice seeming to echo on the entire street.

'Oh kod no, I don't vant to die, I don't vant to die, I don't vant to die.' This thought belongs to none other than Kurt Wagner. After seeing the brutality in front of him, his fragile mind starts to break, and he starts to panic.

Of course, Kurt is not unfamiliar with brutality considering what he had to endure in his childhood, but this just takes that brutality to the next level; not only is the person that was killed, is actually one of the first friends he made when he come to the X-mansion.

The person that Ryu just killed was none other than Havok, aka Alex Summer.

Alex didn't even have time to scream; the moment Rashomon stabbed him, his fate was sealed. What is even more disturbing is that the body of Alex Summer is no more. Rashomon ate it in front of everyone; the only left of him was his blood and some of his intestine.

The brutality that they just witness is something that seems to come out of a movie, and it seems too over the top, and it seems too bloody, and it seems too brutal to be real.

'Calm down, Kurt! Stop panicking! Calm down.' A voice ring in Kurt's head and the voice belong to none other than Professor X, aka Charles Xavier.

He is lying on the ground with Jean trying to help him stand up; with his wheelchair destroyed, he cannot move anymore and need help from other people. He seems to be the calmest one in the group, but if anything, he is also panicking while also feeling guilty at the same time.

It was Charles idea to bring them into this mission, and it was supposed to be an easy mission; this was supposed to be Kurt, aka Nightcrawler, the first mission, but it has to turn into a disaster.

With the use of Cerebro, Charles can detect all of the mutants in the world. He knows about district X's situation and wishes to change it, but he knows it would be impossible with his current power and influence; that is why he never tries to change the district.

Of course, he kept a tap on the situation in district X to make sure nothing too drastic happened; this is also why he knew about the chaos Ryu is causing right now. They are here so that they can stop the thirteen years old child from killing any more people.

Not only that, but Charles also has an idea of recurring Ryu into their group, he might have killed many people, but in his mind, Charles still thinks that Ryu is nothing more than a lost child. Charles thinks that he can change Ryu for the better; that is why he doesn't want to use lethal force toward Ryu.

And that decision had become one of many biggest mistakes in his life. A mistake that causes one of his student life.

Charles know he needs to come up with a plan quick; he can feel the power inside Jean become more unstable with the more second pass, the more unstable it becomes. He knows how powerful Jean's psychic power is; that is why he needs to take control of the situation and stop Jean from unleashing her true power while also dealing with the child, no, the monster in front of him.

Charles and Jean try to enter Ryu mind, but what greeted him was not the childhood memories but was the unspeakable amount of malice and hatred that seemed to cover everything inside Ryu mind. It seems like the emotion that the stoic child in front of them have is hatred.

His outside facade might look like a stoic child, but inside, he has an unspeakable amount of hatred toward the world, something that seems impossible to have, something that Charles and Jean have never seen before.

But in all that hatred, Charles was able to glimpse some part of Ryu memories, and he was greeted with the appearance of Mia. So, he sends this information toward Raven, aka Mystique, to transform into this Mia girl and try to calm.

The result that they got was the opposite of what they expected. The hatred inside Ryu mind seemed to increase tenfold, which led to the death of Alex Summer. Charles feels very guilty because Alex died because he was trying to protect him. Now he has no idea what to say toward Alex family, especially Alex brother, Scott Summer.

But before Charles can form any plan, Ryu activates Rashomon and aims it toward Raven, the speed seems to be even faster than before, and Raven knows that she will not be fast enough to dodge the attack.

Before the attack could hit Raven, Kurt was fast enough to teleport himself toward Raven and teleport himself back while grabbing Raven, saving her from the attack, causing Ryu attention to land on him immediately.

'Annoying teleporter. Fine, if you want to die first, I will grant your wish.' While glaring at Kurt, Ryu seemed to be sweating from nervousness seeing how Ryu attention was now on him.

Rashomon jaw open wide, and it flies toward Kurt with amazing speed, but still, Kurt is a teleporter; he can easily dodge the attack. He keeps appearing left, right, behind or even above Ryu, but Rashomon keeps chasing Kurt, giving him no time to breathe.

Ryu's eyes keep following Kurt's movement. Every time Kurt appeared somewhere, Ryu would immediately take note and attack Kurt on that spot, causing Kurt to teleport again and appear differently.

Ryu mind starts to work, and he can see something that no one can see.

Ryu starts to see a pattern in Kurt teleportation.

'Every time he teleports, he would only teleport into a place in his line of sight. Of course, he seems to be able to teleport somewhere else that is not a line of sight, but he seems to be more focused on line-of-sight teleportation.'

'He seems to rely on teleporting from south to north and north to south, and he only occasionally teleports left and right. What does that mean is that if he s front of me, there is a sixty percent chance of him appearing behind me!'

Ryu immediately put his plan into motion, and he kept attacking Kurt until he teleported in front of him. At that moment, when Kurt disappear from the front of Ryu, numerous Rashomon jaw comes out from Ryu back and fly behind Ryu, and of course, just like he expects, Kurt appears behind him.

Kurt eyes immediately widen, seeing the endless amount of Rashomon jaws coming toward him and this time, he has no time to react because one of the Rashomon jaws quickly bit down on his leg.

Ryu immediately smile.

''Got you.'' He said

The next thing they hear is Kurt screaming in pain; Raven immediately runs toward Kurt, trying to save him, she knows that she is useless in this situation, but she would never let one of her teammates die again.

Charles, who was trying to enter Ryu's mind again, immediately increased his effort trying to save Kurt.

As for Jean, her power increased even further. Seeing Kurt injured, objects around her started to be lifted like they were weightless and immediately got thrown toward Ryu. Still, Rashomon was able to destroy all the objects that came flying toward Ryu.

Kurt, who has his leg trapped inside of Rashomon jaw, scream in pain, but Ryu will not stop until his prey dies, just like a crocodile or a shark; the moment they have their prey in their jaw, they would never let them get away, and the same thing can be said about Ryu.

The moment Rashomon jaw caught Kurt leg, more Rashomon jaws immediately came toward Kurt, aiming to bite him down, Kurt of course, he immediately tried to teleport away. Still, something happened, causing Kurt eyes to widen.

'I can't... teleport' That was Kurt thought.

Kurt has no idea why, but it might be because of Rashomon biting down on his leg, if you have to guess.

His guess was, of course, correct. Rashomon has the power to eat anything, even space was no exception, and the moment Rashomon bite down on Kurt's leg, it immediately eats away Kurt power to teleport.

Of course, even Ryu does not know about this; after all, Rashomon reacts toward Ryu's desire. Ryu's desire right now is not to want Kurt to escape, so the moment Rashomon jaw catches Kurt leg, it immediately eats away Kurt ability to teleport.

Nobody notices this because Kurt's appearance is still the same because Rashomon only ''eat'' the teleportation power away, so his appearance would never change.

After all, Rashomon did not nullify mutant power by biting them; it destroyed mutant power by eating it away.

Ryu would immediately find this out after the battle, but right now, he has no idea about this part of Rashomon power.

Kurt turns toward Raven, who can be seen running toward him, screaming his name, while Charles and Jean try to do anything to stop Ryu, but it is futile.

Kurt can remember the time back when he was still in a circus and when he was in a fight club. It was Raven who took him away from that life, gave him a new chance in life, teaching him all kinds of things about this world.

Not only that, if it's not for Raven, Kurt would never have had a normal childhood and would never make any friends due to his appearance, but Raven was there, always helping him when needed the most.

In Kurt mind, Raven is like a mother to him, even though he would never admit or say it out loud. He was glad that she saved him, and he was glad to have made all those friends. Even though the time was short in the X-mansion for him, it was still the best time in his life.

Kurt world seems to start to slow down, knowing what will happen to him next. He can only give a shaky smile toward Raven while saying his last word.

''I don't want to died.'' Kurt said quietly, and yet it seemed Raven was able to hear it because her eyes widened.

The next thing that they see would be in their mind until the time that they die.

Numerous jaws of Rashomon come down on Kurt like a group of hungry hyenas. Those jaws immediately bite down on Kurt body.

Without a second waste, Rashomon started ripping and tearing, Kurt's body pieces got torn into pieces. Not only that, but some Rashomon head also ate Kurt alive. There was no scream of pain from Kurt because the first thing that got cut and eaten by Rashomon was Kurt's head.

Blood spills everywhere, bodies flying around, yet they never landed because Rashomon would immediately eat them away. It was a feast for Rashomon, while Ryu looked at the scene with a sadistic smile on his face that he seemed not to notice.

Kurt Wagner, aka Nightcrawler, is dead.

Raven stand in shock, seeing Kurt getting eaten alive by Rashomon, with tears in her eyes. Charles is sitting on the ground with more guilt in his heart.

As for Jean?

Her power immediately flared up, pushing everything around the area away from her while also creating a massive shockwave, knocking Charles and Raven into a wall. At the same time, Ryu stood his ground by piercing Rashomon on the ground and using it as an anchor.

Jean float in the air with her power flaring, objects around her seem to float around, glass, cars, light poles, and some building start to shake.

Jean looked down at Ryu with hatred in her eyes.

''I'm going to kill you.''
