8 Chapter 6: Testing Powers

<Samael POV>

--Domain Of The One Above All--

"So Sir, How were you Stan Lee?" I asked curiously.

We were still in the white void but now we were just floating instead of sitting on a sofa.

It truly wasn't outlandish that most type of entertainment were real worlds somewhere. And the literal God (with capital G) walked among us and nobody knew about it.

I had decided to call him 'Sir'. Because he WAS going to teach me about my powers after all. It was good manners to be respectful towards your teacher.

It's definitely not because 'One Above All' was a mouthful to say (and saying OAA felt weird).

Definitely not.

"You see Young Samael, I have many Avatars of myself living in the huge Megaverse. Stan Lee is but one of them." He explained.

"I see... So would I be able to do it one day?"

"Perhaps after some training." He says after some thinking.

"Sir one thing is bothering me." I asked after a few moments.

"Hmm?"

"Well it's just that, when my powers were still unawakened. My future would be open for all to see right? So why didn't someone like Ancient One visit me?" This fact has been bothering me for some time but I always put it off but now I was standing in front of God so I decided to get some answers.

I'm sure he doesn't mind.

"Oh, it's because I concealed your presence from everyone. I guess it was because I felt that I owed you back because I spie- cough! Observed you." He admitted sheepishly.

I just looked at him with deadpan face as he tried to hide that he basically admitted to spying on me.

OAA sweated a little under my look.

I wasn't even bothered anymore.

I then remembered-

"Oh Shit! Granny and everybody else must be so worried! They must be thinking I ran away or something! Please Sir you have to send me back." I said wide eyed and panicked.

I did not want to leave my new life (that I had built) behind. Even if I had to give up my lessons with OAA, I would.

My loved ones were more important to me.

And I was sure that even without control and training I would still be decently powerful.

Of course not as fast (of as quickly) if I learn from him but still decently strong.

And from what OAA told me. The awakening of my powers caused a huge blackout and would've done more if he didn't interfere.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm grateful to OAA for helping me so much but I can't abandon my new family.

So all of them would be very worried about me right now.

And I was probably going to get grounded for life.

"Don't worry kid. I've stopped time in your universe indefinitely. So you don't have to worry about anyone noticing your disappearance." He assures me in a soothing voice which manages to calm me down.

"I-... Sigh. Thank you sir." I said relieved.

I guess I was just a bit overwhelmed with my powers awakening and then meeting with God.

I am only a human after all.

Albeit a strong one.

And this has been a damn long day.

"You must be tired Young Samael. So we'll start your classes tomorrow." He then snapped his fingers and a extremely small planet appeared a bit away from us.

The small planet contains grassy surface, a pond, a dozen or so trees, a bunch of flowers, a small barn and a small house.

[OAA House/Planet Image]

As we floated closer to it I recognized that it strangely looks similar to King Kai's Planet from Dragon Ball but it's still significantly different.

We landed on the surface and entered the small house.

The interior of the small house was much, much larger than how it looked from the outside.

It wouldn't be a stretch to call it a mansion.

OAA then showed me my room and told me to rest and then teleported somewhere.

I went to sleep with anticipation for the days to come.

<Timeskip- The Next Day>

After the best sleep on the best bed in the omniverse, I was refreshed and ready for this new day.

It was the next day and both of us were sitting in the garden of the house. We were sitting facing each other with a white table in between. OAA then started his class.

"Now Young Samael, while I can teach you about all the little intricacies about your power, I think it would be better for you to discover them on your own." He informs me, now in his 'Teacher Mode'.

"So what would you teach me, Sir?" I questioned with a notepad that I created. Ready to take notes on everything.

"I will teach how to use your abilities with finesse!" He proclaimed as he snapped.

*BOOM!*

As he said this we were suddenly transported from the white void to dark void of nothingness.

"Why are we her-"

"Shush! See this." He interrupts and points his finger towards something. He has a joyful smile on his face.

I look at where he's pointing and I see an egg? A small, dense and unimaginably hot egg shaped object.

It was a Cosmic Egg.

For a moment it was absolutely silent until-

*BAAAAAANNNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!*

The small, dense Cosmic Egg exploded in a flash of Bright Light.

The explosion quickly expanded and kept expanding.

This was the Big Bang...

It was the Birth of A New Universe.

And it was beautiful...

It was fascinating...

With the Big Bang came the Cosmic Entities.

Eternity

Infinity

Lady Death

Oblivion

Phoenix Force

And Galactus. The Being who was reborn out of the Cosmic Egg.

They're abstractions. Concepts manifesting themselves as Entities. All of them were crucial for the survival and life of the universe. They were born at the beginning of the universe and would die at it's end.

While Galactus was not a Abstract Being his importance wasn't any less. He was in fact even more important in some cases because at the rebirth of the universe all the energy he would absorb in his lifetime would help remake a new universe.

So yes, he was important.

Then the Big Bang-with the help of the newly born Cosmic Beings-forged 6 pre-existing singularities into 6 elemental crystals and sent them hurtling across the newborn universe.

The Infinity Stones. Each embodying a fundamental aspect of existence.

Space

Mind

Reality

Power

Time

And Soul.

... I was speechless.

Even after living in this Marvel-lous (pun intended) world it was the first time I had ever saw something so bizarre... so beautiful.

A birth of a literal universe.

It was breathtaking and enlightening.

There really was no way to describe the absolutely mystical sight.

"So how did you like the show?" He inquires as we float in (newly created) space.

"It was... amazing." I said with stars in my eyes (metaphorically).

He just chuckles good-humouredly at my enthusiasm.

"Listen Samael. Reality Warping is a power that let's it's user do absolutely anything especially at your level. A power like this let's it's user become nigh-omnipotent." He explains, back in his 'Teacher Mode'.

He 'Creates' a miniature Galaxy in his palm.

"But! While you have the overwhelming power you don't actually know how to effectively use it. To use Reality Warping to it's true potential you have to have precise control over it. Because a power is only good as it's wielder. I will help you with this."

"But for now a little fun wouldn't be bad." He smiles.

"Now you do it." He gestures.

And I understood what he was saying.

"... Are you sure I can do it?" I asked anxiously.

"Yes, I'm sure you can do it Young Samael. I believe in you." He smiles warmly as he encouraged me.

I smile a bit despite my anxiety and anticipation and focus on my power.

The trick to Reality Warping can be divided into three basic parts.

First, Willpower

Second, Imagination/Creativity

Third, And Realising Your Wishes Upon Reality.

Combination of all of these result in warping reality.

Anyways,

I concentrated. I imagined. I willed.

My power filled in the blanks (information I didn't have or provide) in my wishes.

And my wish became reality.

A galaxy.

A galaxy that I created.

A galaxy that I now held in the palm of my hands.

A newly created galaxy (MY own galaxy) where I was the supreme ruler.

It was beautiful.

... I think I may develop a bit of god complex or ego problem down the line.

Hopefully not. But you can't really be sure.

"Bravo! Bravo! Young Samael! You just successfully created your own galaxy!" He patted on my back with a proud smile.

I too smiled in happiness despite my exhaustion.

I was exhausted because of the high stamina and mental strain it took to create, design and then warp it into reality.

I guess I had to train it a bit before I could use it continuously on this level for long periods.

OAA then handed me a small glass bottle filled with shining green liquid.

"Drink it, it will help with tiredness." He said.

I opened it and drank it quickly. As soon as I finished it all my exhaustion disappeared. It was in mint flavour by the way.

I guess it was some kind of magical Revitalize Potion.

"Now that you have successfully created a small galaxy let's test your powers alright?" He said.

I nodded.

"First, try to grant yourself some knowledge that you don't already know." He tells me.

I did as he said and wished for an important information that I already didn't know.

"Oh, Wow!" I exclaimed with wide eyes.

I think I just found out KFC's secret recipe.

And it is...

Heh! Sike! I'm taking it's secret with me to my grave!

HuHuHuhuhuhu!

...

I think my child body is effecting my personality a bit too much.

I can't wait to grow back into an adult.

But it adds to the fun so I don't mind it that much.

"What did you get?" He asks.

"KFC's Secret Recipe." I replied.

"Ooohh! Now I want to eat chicken wings." He said with a hungry look.

"Yeah! Me too!" I joined him.

No one can say no to a little chicken break.

...

After a KFC lunch break we restarted back where we left off.

"Second, Creation and Destruction of anything, but I think we have the Creation part already covered." Both of us chuckle a bit.

But we tried it anyway. Creating something and then destroying it. Destroying things that I didn't create and Creating things of which I only have basic knowledge.

You know, the basic stuff.

After a few test I concluded that any object created by me would work as I want it to. It doesn't matter that I don't have enough knowledge about it. Even if it shouldn't be logically possible.

For example. I made a wooden hammer that can one-shot any being (abstracts and beyonders not included).

And it really was just a wooden hammer. No enchantment. No magic. No special efects. Nothing. But it can one-shot any being (abstracts and beyonders not included).

Like it was normal for a wooden hammer to one-shot any being.

Like once you're hit with it. You die. Simple.

This was the objects 'Reality'.

It doesn't make sense but it works.

But unfortunately it only works on non-living objects for now.

We then decided to try some more... concentration and precision taking aspects of Reality Warping.

Time Manipulation & Creation Of Life.

For the first, I tried to fast-forward the time for my miniature galaxy ('I really should get a name for it.'). From 2x speed to 100x speed. Where I stopped.

Then reversing the time. Then stopping it. Then doing it again and again until I was adept at it.

And I of course did it on the first try.

Bow to me peasants! Muahahahahahaha!

After a few experiments I concluded that I am able to warp reality to manipulate time as I wished.

But I still needed to perfect it. Because while I was able to do the basics like Time Stop, Time Fast-Forward & Time Rewind. I wasn't able to do the more complex applications of it.

As for Life Creation...

Let's just say that THEY became so violent and disgusting that I had to reset the galaxy because the damage was too much.

So the less said about them the better.

Honestly, I don't like failure. But I understand that it is needed for one to better themselves.

... I guess all the success got to my head a little.

Arrogance and Over-Confidence has been the downfall of many great people. So one has to tread the line carefully at being Prideful and Arrogant.

But Failure is a great motivation. Because my first failure ignited a flame of determination within me that I didn't know I had.

'I will create my own life. Even if it takes eons.' I thought determined to make my wish a reality.

"You did great Samael! Even I had to try many times before I was able to perfect my Life Creation. You did great for your first time!" He said trying to cheer me up.

"We can try other things though." I smiled a little and shrugged. I had a crazy idea. Which, If (a big IF) it worked could change so much.

I thought of granting myself a useful superpower.

It was as if a bomb went inside my head.

My mind expanded. I could easily solve any kind of problems. I remembered all of my memories. Of this life and past one.

All of this because I had granted myself superpowers.

[Super Intellect], [Super Comprehension] & [Eidetic Memory]

They were simple and straightforward but highly useful abilities.

"So you figured some thing out eh? I'm proud of you." He pats me on the back.

I would grant myself more power in the future, it would be highly moronic dumb not to. But for now these were enough.

We then decided to wrap up the class for now and returned to OAA's planet.

"How was that for a starter class?" He asked.

"It was phenomenal! Schools should learn something from you!" I praised.

Truly. I would always remember this event.

The day I created my own galaxy.

We then returned to OAA's planet and I went to my room where I watched Multiversal Television and then went to sleep.

Thus the first day of my lessons came to an end.

<Timeskip- The Next Day>

"Okay kid, let's start the basics first." He said.

We were currently sitting cross-legged on grass in the garden.

I was honestly very excited about this.

Maybe he will teach me to make my own universe next?

I was already fascinated with my own galaxy which I named The Sam-Verse.

What? I'm not good at naming stuff.

*Snap!*

OAA snapped his fingers and 2 books appeared on my lap.

[Meditation: Discover Your Inner Strength by The One Above All]

[Reality Warping For Dummies by The One Above All]

...

...

... Seriously?!?

I was dumbfounded.

I understand the Reality Warping book but Why the heck do I need meditation?!?

What happened to creating galaxies?

What happened to traveling universes?

Whay happened to creating Life?

"I know what you're thinking young Samael. But you're still a bit too young to do those things. Once you complete your training you are free to do anything you want." He speaks seemingly guessing what I was thinking.

"... Alright." I grumbled.

And I was definitely not pouting!

I also kind of agreed with him. I was already a bit overwhelmed by yesterday's events and wanted some peace and stability for now.

So without further adieu, I started reading.

===================

And Done!

Sorry for the delay but the chapter was a long one so it took time. This is also the longest one I've ever written with 2885 words.

And I don't like writing 'Training Chapters' they are a chore.

So yeah... I got lost on the road of life.

This chapter has bits of marvel lore thrown into it.

I'm trying to portray One Above All as a teacher/friend figure for Samael.

I've also based some of One Above All's personality after All Might.

This is a fanfic so some minor changes are allowed.

My life has started to come back to normal now. The recent semester exams just ended a few days ago and hopefully the results will be very good.

I studied hard for it so hopefully all of it would pay off.

I will try to update my other fics (none of them are dropped btw) but no promises.

And Damn, Black Panther 2's trailer just came out this week.

No spoilers but I am very excited to see Namor. I think he looks badass. I'm glad that they kept him close to the comic's version.

The new Black Panther suit is cool too.

Please leave some good reviews! It motivates me to write a chapter.

I would greatly appreciate if you give a few suggestions about what you would like to see Samael do with his Reality Warping powers.
