Lorelei was shock to hear him and quickly got off his back.

Although Lorelei has been looking for what she think is a king but the men couldn't resist her and be under her control. Now she saw Kai not being affected by her magic which made her dumbfounded.
"Maybe, I'm the king your looking for?" Kai said while turning to look at Lorelei.
The reason why he wasn't affect by her magic is very simple, copy. He copied Lorelei's ability and found two abilities that cancels each other out which was why he deliberately knew that she wanted to get closer to him to put him under control, since it didn't affect him he didn't stop her.
