2 CHAPTER - 2 SKYE

"Relax, I actually came here for Extremis. Curing her is just an after - effect, and I don't want to become the enemy of a member of Avengers. Atleast, not yet."

After saying that, Arthur started moving towards them with his hands in the air.

Tony to remain on guard, asked JARVIS to search for the identity of the person in front of them.

But to his surprise, he got no information whatsoever on this person which raised his curiosity.

"Who are you?" Tony asked with a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"You will know soon" answered Arthur.Currently, his priority is to get Extremis.

Getting no clear answer, Tony is about to warn him once again not to do anything funny but got interrupted by Arthur.

"Rest assured. As I said before , my only goal is to get Extermis and get out of here."

Arthur knelt beside Pepper and said "Just relax, the process may be painful, but I promise there will be no danger, just don't resist what's about to enter your body."

"Hey, what are you doing?" Tony shouted when he saw Arthur's hand on Pepper.

"Don't misunderstand. I am not taking any advantage here."

After few moments, Arthur felt a special energy entering his body from Pepper.This feeling...it's special. It's as if you found your lost soul.

On the other hand, Pepper's feeling extreme pain. Seeing this, Tony readied his stance to attack Arthur if something goes wrong. The process lasted about five minutes. After that Arthur released Pepper and sat on the ground breathing heavily. His body is drenched in sweat.

"Pepper, how are you feeling?" Tony asked.

"I am fine. I can't feel Extremis in my body. I think it's completely gone." Pepper answered.

"That's good, but just to be sure, let's check again."

"What about him?" Pepper looked towards Arthur.

"Don't worry. I will be fine." Arthur waved his hand.

"Let's go." Tony started leaving with Pepper. Actually he doesn't want to bring him along. He is a mysterious figure who can absorb Extremis. He doesn't want to take chances. The best thing thing to do is to report it to the SHIELD.

Watching Tony leave with Pepper, Arthur couldn't help but smile.

SUCCESS.

HIS FIRST STEP IS SUCCESS.

He can feel the changes in his body. The energy flowing inside his body, it feels amazing. To test his powers, he touched the ground with his arm which is releasing high temperature. The result -- the ground just got eroded.

After that, he picked a piece of iron from the rubble, and pierced it into his arm.

It hurt him a lot, but there is still a smile on his face. Because the wound was rapidly healing. Although the healing speed cannot be compared to that of Wolverine's, it should do for now.

"THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING. THE BEGINNING OF THE KING." Suppressing his excitement, he turned and left the place.

THREE DAYS LATER

On the highway, a handsome man with luxurious dress can be seen driving a sports car. This is none other than our Mc, Arthur.

As for the sports car and money, he just had a friendly chat with a wealthy person who gave these as a gift. As for SHIELD, he wanted them to find out.

In this three days, Arthur had already planned his next step and that is to join the SHIELD. Although, he doesn't want to take orders from others, it's the best choice for now.

Soon, SHIELD will get disbanded due to hydra. So, he doesn't need to work under them for long. The main reason to join SHIELD is to work with Phil Coulson as his team solves supernatural threats which will in turn give Arthur a chance to steal more abilities.

Although, he have Extremis, it is not as strong as other power houses in this world. If you want to become the king, you have to be strong. And get stronger, this is his best chance for now.

But, it is not so easy to the SHIELD. Even if I join the SHIELD, if I am not a part of Phil Coulson's team, then it's a waste of time and effort.

So, to make it easy, I just found the right person.

Yes, Skye aka QUAKE.

According to the plot, skye have not joined the SHIELD. A hacker from Rising tide organization who will join Phil Coulson's team in the future. A perfect candidate right.

A inhuman who can manipulate seismic energy and the only agent who have the access to level 0 except for Nick fury.

So, from three days, he started following her. Looking at Skye coming out from the coffee shop wearing thick brown jacket, black silky hair, Arthur's heart just skipped a beat. but it was not the time for that, so he started following her.
