1 CHAPTER - 1 EXTREMIS

"What is this place? Why am I here?"

The unknown surroundings around him made Arthur somewhat uncomfortable. Afterall he is in a place which is unknown to him.

Near him explosions are occuring constantly as if someone had planted the bombs all over the place.

"Am I in the middle of a war?"Arthur questioned himself.

Arthur slowly moved forward while observing the surroundings. While walking he heard something in the sky. When he looked at the sky, his whole demeanor changed.

Because he saw something unbelievable. A man flying in the sky wearing afreaking iron suit and battling against a person whose body is like heated metal.

"What the heck? Is that Iron man?"

His face has an expression which cannot be described. Is it happiness,excitement,fear or shock or all of it combined.[imagine.pretty wierd right?]

But nobody can scold him right? Afterall everybody's expression would be the same his. Well one of it is.

While observing the fight, he felt that the fight is too familiar. Then he remembered that this is the last fight from Iron man 3 movie.

"What?"

Suddenly ,Arthur clutched his head hard as he felt a massive haedache. It's as if someone is forcibly inserting something in mind. After a while, the pain disappeared and he's breathing heavily. But, there is a smile on his face.

"devour king system"was the sound he heard in his mind.

He don't know why he was transmigrated to the world of marvel or why he was given this system. This system's objective is to make him the strongest person in cosmos. But it's just a tool. Ultimately, the one who can do it himself.

Then he heard another mechanical sound{"Your body has been changed according to the convenience of the system's usage during transmigration".}

Arthur checked his body. Although it looks no different from my previous body he can feel that his body is changed.

"System,what is my ability?"

{You have the ability to devour and stabilize abililities and energy}

In short, he can devour any ability without worrying about any drawbacks as the body will aotumatically stabilize it to the perfect level.

"This is great".

In marvel, there are many powerful energies like super serum,extremis,gama energy etc., Ofcourse, there are drawbacks, but with this body he would have no problem.

Ofcourse, there are many more powerful abilities from X-men, Thor's thunder etc.

But the main problem is that he does not have power to fight those monsters. Yes, they are really monsters.

Especially now, because from the looks of it Avengers has been formed. So, he would have to steal from small fries i.e until he gets strong.

But, this seems fun. Where is the thrill if you get strong from the get go? The road to become a king should be like this. It should be an exhilarating ride.

However, now is not the time thinking about that. He is in the middle of the battle where one blow is enough to kill him.

Arthur found a safe spot and started paying attention the fight as well as looking for an oppurtunity to get Extremis.

That's right. Arthur first step to become the king of the cosmos is to Extremis.It gives super healing, super strength, superhuman speed, superhuman stamina, superhuman durability, fire breathing etc.

If we compare it to Captain america's super serum, Extremis is more powerful.And there will be no drawbacks, atleast for him.

"BOOM!"

A big explosion occured in the distance which seems to be the destruction of the Iron suit.

From afar, you could see tony stark sitting on the ground with bruises. It seems the explosion just now blasted killains. But Arthur knows that killain didn't die. Moments later, killian whose body is burning like magma dashed towards Tony stark. Stark tried to move, but he couldn't. Just when killian is about kill Stark, a steel pipe hit killian and he flew in the air.

Arthur knew who this person is. PEPPER POTTS.

Up in the sky a iron suit locked pepper as it's target. But Pepper easily smashed it.

"Be careful!" Tony saw that killian is rushing towards Pepper and warned her. Pepper didn't panic and took Iron suit's hand and attached it to her hand. The shock wave instantly hit killian's and obliverated it.

After that when Tony stark and Pepper are ready to leave, they saw a person moving towards them. Both remained vigilant.

"Don't be nervous. I am not hear to harm you. I am here to help. I think the beautiful lady beside you is having trouble. "Arthur said with a smile while raising his hands meaning no harm.

"Why should I believe you?" Tony asked.

"It's your choice. You may be able to cure her or you may not be able to cure her. Do you want to take the chance or should I say can you take the chance to risk her life.

Tony pondered for a bit and said" OK,but don't try anything funny or else" Tony warned.

"Relax, I actually came for Extremis. Curing her is just a after-effect, and I don't want to become the eneny of a member of Avengers. Atleast, not now."
