7 Chapter 7

After hearing Jack's answer, a smile didn't leave the doc's face and he said," you think, I will just come to ask you if you want to do what I say or not and just leave after being rejected."

Jack shook his head and said," after being in this business for 2 months, I know you have already hired a bunch of assassins or mercenaries so bring them out."

Doc smiled and signalled with his hand. Soon hundreds of people wearing masks and black suits pointing their guns at Jack and Maya come out of the shadows.

 Jack pointed at himself and asked," am I that famous these days that assassins are copying me?"

Doc hmphed and said while going turning around and leaving," Kill them and make sure I won't have to deal with other rats tomorrow."

The person who was looking like a leader nodded and ordered them to point their guns at Jack. Jack sighed and asked Maya," can you handle yourself once I start hunting someone I can't stop until I kill him."

Maya just nodded and the next second in the blink of an eye Jack reached for the group of assassins with two desert eagles.

Maya was shocked for a sec but quickly came out of it and also started attacking the shocked assassins.

Both of them were fighting in the sink like they have been doing this for years and someone who is a fan of action scenes would faint by seeing their performance.

Soon the leader of the group became irritated and ordered them to fire blindly without any restraints.

Jack and Maya took cover but suddenly a bullet hit Maya's stomach and she started to bleed. Jack said," I told you to take care of yourself but now look at what happened."

Maya said in pain," my life is none of your business. You can just leave me here to die."

Jack looked at her for a sec and asked," I can leave you here but are you ready to die here without completing your goals?"

A look of unwillingness appeared in her eyes but she bit her lower lip and said," The day I chose this life, I was ready to die."

Jack exhaled and muttered," Why am I so soft-hearted to girls?"

Jack converted Shusui into tungsten and said," After today you are not allowed to attack me okay?"

Maya was surprised but nodded and said," I give you my word."

Jack smirked and jumped out of the cover and the assassin squad started firing. Jack started spinning his tungsten deflecting hundreds of bullets fired at him.

Seeing their bullets not working someone throws a grenade and it explodes near Jack's feet covering everything with smoke.

Everyone started to look around for Jack's body but didn't find anything and suddenly the sound of gunshots came with screams from people. When the smoke cleared Jack was standing in the middle of the dead bodies.

Jack smiled and said while throwing 11 gold coins toward Maya and said," I don't why you choose to kill me as your first job but never make a mistake like that because no matter how urgently you need money. Your life is more important than that."

After saying that he left on his bike but hid his right leg was completely damaged. Fortunately, because of his healing factor, it was not bleeding.

After reaching home Jack changed his clothes and did the dressing on his wound. Then he picks up his phone and messages Felicia and says [Let's go to school by bus tomorrow.]

Felicia saw Jack's message and she was surprised because Jack was the one who didn't like to travel by bus in the first place but still said okay as it didn't matter how they travel but what matters is that they can spend time together.

Jack falls asleep from the exhaustion from the fight but he didn't notice that he broke through his body's and martial arts current limitations because of this fight.

Next Day

Felicia was sitting near the window thinking about why Jack decided to go by bus. Then the bus reached Jack's stop and Jack entered the bus with difficulty and reached the seat beside Felicia walking groggily.

Felicia immediately stands up and supports Jack and asked," what the fu*k happen? How did you get hurt so badly?"

Jack said," I am sorry it was an accident. A car hit me while I was going home from my part-time job."

Felicia frowned and said," bloody hell, I will not let that car driver go."

Jack shook his head and said," you don't have to worry about that and should just focus on our date tonight."

Felicia frowned more deeply and said," you want to go on a date in this condition."

Jack waved his hand and said," I will be fine by evening and I promised to do my best right?"

Felicia didn't say anything and kissed him on the lips for a sec. This took Jack by surprise and everyone who was watching them this whole time. Flash and Harry had grim looks on their faces.

They reached school and when Felicia and Jack were going towards the school a sound of the bike came and a girl wearing a black helmet and black leather jacket with pants and boots of the same colour stopped near Jack and Felicia.

She took off her helmet and revealed an otherworldly beautiful face with light pink hair and eyes. Making every in-school drool except Jack as she was no less beautiful than Felicia.

The girl said," Hello my name is Maya and I just transferred to this school today. Would you please guide me toward the principal's office?"
