6 Chapter 6 First Friends

"Alright Class you're free to go" Mrs Merry said after the bail rang letting all of us know that school was finally over.

Experiencing High School again was exactly as I had expected it to be. Long boring classes with teachers that seemed tired and clearly not paid enough to be locked up in a room of hormonal teenagers.

Students that didn't respect or appreciate their teachers and clearly not one another. Flash being a clear example.

I lost count of how many students I saw him trip and bump into during the day. I also learned about who his new target was since he stopped bullying me.

Surprise, surprise Peter Parker yeah not really a surprise. Luckily Flash didn't seem to bully him as much as he did me most likely thanks to Harry not letting flash rough him up with them sort of being acquaintances with Peter being Harry's tutor.

We'll speak of the devil and he will appear in this case Flash and his goons. They were all laughing together like a pack of hyenas as they went towards the restroom carrying a familiar backpack with a name written in sharpie. 'Peter Parker'

"Wow these guys really don't grow up" I mumbled to myself

Wait this is a chance isn't it?

Before this I didn't really have an opportunity to talk with Peter or Ned with us not being familiar with one another. There's also the fact that Peter is Flash's target right now making others avoid him.

With that in mind I waited a bit for Flash and his cronies to leave the restroom as I went in to get Peter's things. Which wasn't very pleasant.

Turns out they put his bag in the urinal and peed on it if what I'm smelling is right. Walking up to it I made sure to grab a lot of toilet paper as I picked it up so it wouldn't touch my hands.

"HEY! That's my bag man!" Said a bespeckled kid as he ran in the restroom and tried to take the bag but I pulled it away in time so he wouldn't get a handful of piss.

"Hold up I wouldn't touch this just yet"

"Huh what do you mean not too… ugh what's that smell"

"That my friend is the smell of pee from Flash and his musketeers." I said while still keeping the bag at a full arms distance since the smell was quite pungent.

Man what are these guys consuming to make pee smell so bad it's like it was made from pure protein.

"No! Argh this was my only bag."

I was surprised to hear this and even regretted not stepping in sooner for a moment. Anyone would if they knew Peter's life. It's quite sad and only goes downhill after the spider bite.

"Sorry I couldn't get your bag in time. I saw them pass by with it in the hallway and didn't realize something was wrong until the left the restroom laughing"

"It's no problem thanks for at least getting my bag from the urinal."

"If it doesn't bother you too much I think I have an extra bag at my house that I could give you if you don't mind it having a couple of scuffs."

"Huh, really! thanks ugh what's your name again"

"Kol Dagon, nice to meet you. we share Biology and Math together"

"Ah I knew I recognized you. Oh and I'm Peter Parker. Nice to meet you too."

I couldn't help but smile as I shared Peter's hand. He stumbled on his words and made a lot of awkward pauses in between our conversation but all in all he was a good kid. Just a bit awkward.

"Well I'll bring the bag to school tomorrow and try not to lose this one too"

"Haha, yea I hope I don't lose this one too"

After that we seemed to hit it off quite well and walked down the hall together. I think it's mostly because Peter doesn't have many friends so meeting someone willing to talk with him is something he appreciates.

Walking outside the school we were also greeted by a fan favorite Ned Leeds.

"Peter! I've been looking all over for you. Did you find your bag?"

Before Pete could reply I lifted the bag toward him as he got a whiff of the stench.

"Argh, Peter what's up with your bag!"

"Hahaha" Me and Peter couldn't help but laugh at Ned's reaction since he actually looked like he'd throw up and soon we explained everything to him.

"Sorry about your bag Peter, if something happens to your next one I also have an extra for you."

Peter was thankful and then suddenly made a helpless face.

"You think it's gonna happen again?"

Me and Ned froze for a moment since it was practically guaranteed.

"Yea Peter I'm pretty sure it will. I mean look at me I'm pretty sure you both know I was bullied by flash for months before he switched to you."

He looked down after that but picked himself back up with a smile as he patted ned on the back.

"Well you'll still stick with me right Ned"

Ned wore a big grin as he and Peter did their hand shake.

I also couldn't help but smile seeing this side of Peter because I knew this is what made him Spider-Man and for a moment I felt like I even saw a shadow of his future self.

No matter how hard he falls and get kicked down he always picks himself up.

"Hey don't leave me out were friends now after all"

"Wait really you want to be friends with us" Peter asked surprised

"You know we're losers right" Ned said as if he was finishing Peters sentence

"And what I'm not? You do know you're talking to the guy who got bullied for months and has had like no friends up to this point."

They both seemed to realize something as I said that and gently patted me on the back In pity. Which annoyed me for a second but ignored it since this should get me more involved in some stories while also giving me my first friends in this world.

After that I made my way home while completely forgetting the fact that I needed to see the councilors office after school for missing but hey that's a problem for tomorrow me.
