23 Chapter 23 I am a Young Master

It had already been a couple of days since the Oscorp trip and things were progressing pretty much as I expected.

Peter became somewhat estranged from our group of friends as he did his best to keep his distance. This didn't work however as we would try to stick with him as much as we could.

Especially myself since I wanted to have a reason to watch Uncle Ben and make sure he was alright.

Ned and Gwen were confused and a bit hurt the more he tried to avoid us. They wondered if the reason was due to him not getting to meet Connors and we're making all sorts of ideas.

I however already knew what was going on. I was kind of responsible for what happened by placing that spider on his neck but can I really be blamed for something meant to happen?

The changes happening to Peter were also quite interesting to watch. Most people hadn't noticed but thanks to NZT there were many things I was able to see that others could not.

From the way, he would breath, walk, and even touch. Everything was done while holding back and every now and then I could see both fear and excitement in his expressions as he realized what he was capable of.

There were of course accidents like that time he accidentally got his hands stuck to Flash's shirt and ended up ripping it off. When this happened flash began to chase Peter and ended up losing him while thinking that he ran away.

I would have thought the same as well if I had not been watching from a distance and noticed Peter disappear when he turned the corner. Basically confirming invisibility as one of his powers.

I was also able to confirm that he had spider sense when I threw a pencil at him which he dodged with extreme precision.

Reaching the lunch room I placed my things on the side as I took out my phone to check the company's earnings. Something I had not done in a while and the last time I checked we were sitting around 50k.

With my phone out I examined my surroundings once and proceeded to put in my bank password as my eyes bulged out.

'Th-that's 8 digits right… I Kol Dagon am now a Millionaire' Seeing so many numbers filled me up with ecstasy.

Haha since I'm a millionaire, I just need to have a bunch of kids to make what I told Peter a reality.

Back to real goals, this means I can finally get some of my plans moving. I have so many things to buy from a lab to equipment and plenty of other resources. I'm also going to need lab assistants and a cute secretary "cough cough".

I realized I was getting a bit too excited and calmed myself down immediately. A nice perk of having NZT is full mental control along with full emotional control. It's also the reason why I was able to kill those Hydra agents before without breaking down.

Glancing back at my phone with a calm mind I began thinking of a strategy.

For the lab, I'm probably going to buy a used one so I don't have to waste so much money and time. I'll obviously build one later, but once I have a secure position and contracts.

The lab I get should also be outside of New York since way too many things happen in this city. I'd be a real idiot to build anything here.

First, before I begin doing any of this I should go to Peter's house along with everyone and show his aunt our earnings so she can let him work with me. Then I obviously need to start paying them and giving them their share.

Though they didn't help me too much in making the app, that doesn't mean I shouldn't start paying them like a good boss. From what I've heard they're almost done making the game apps anyway and this payment could be considered an incentive.

'Speaking of my friends here they come'

"Hey guys" waving my hand I got Ned, Gwen's, and Peter's attention who looked quite awkward with them.

Looks like they finally cornered him and got him to stop running.

Seeing me they quickly cut through the crowd and sat down beside me.

"You guys got Peter to stop being a wuss"

"Hey!" Peter obviously wasn't happy about that comment as he exclaimed in denial

"Yeah and all it took was a phone call with his aunt" Gwen said with a proud expression.

Wow low blow

"You should have seen Peter after he got scolded." Ned laughed

"Argh you guys just don't understand I'm just… going through some things right now."

"By chance did you get hot and sweaty? While also experiencing many changes in your body" I asked while giving him a knowing look.

This seemed to petrify him as he met my serious gaze

"H-how did you know!?"

"Huh isn't that just puberty" Ned blurted out making me and him laugh at Peter who got more and more red by the moment. Gwen merely covered her face as well as she got a bit red from secondhand embarrassment.

Gwen's red tint didn't go unnoticed by me especially because of how cute it looked. It was enough to put any guy in a daze.

Ahh, what am I doing? I need to show them the money.

Focusing back on our group I decided it was about time I showed them our earnings.

"Guys I have something to show you"

They looked at each other confused for a moment before moving closer to me as they looked at my phone since that's where my gaze was.

Their reaction was priceless

Ned fell forward and caught himself on the computer murmuring something about being a young master. Gwen on the other hand suddenly hugged me from behind which was enjoyable at first until I started getting choked out.

As for Peter, well he was frozen and even vanished for a split second which went unnoticed by everyone except me.

Yeah, he's definitely going to need to train that. Can't be disappearing in public. Unless he wants to end up like a lab rat or spider I should say.

"Kol is this real?!"x3

'Man these guys were too loud' I thought as I began to look around and noticed some stares

"Shhh keep it down and yes it is but we'll talk later at Peter's house"

"Huh, my house? I guess we can, I bet Aunt May and Uncle Ben would love to hear the news"

"Exactly and remember Peter I promised your aunt that we'd make a million within a month so that covers you as well."

Peter simply scratched his head with a smile on his face as he said "Well don't blame me for not fully believing you."

"You underestimate my power"

"I got that reference" Ned said, seeming to have recovered from his shock as well.

"Haha alright guys I'm gonna be heading out. I'll meet you at Peters" I said while leaving

As I walked the halls I couldn't help but feel a skip in my step. Things seemed to be going well, great even.

Peter got bit and has new abilities from other Spider-Man's. I got a whole bunch of spiders to research. Money to make a lab and do said research.

Yeah, I had Hydra and Shield on me but hey worse things can happen in Marvel.

Turning the corner I suddenly bumped into something soft as I heard a yelp.

"Ahh"

We both fell on our backsides but thankfully our landings weren't too bad. Recognizing that I accidentally walked into a girl I did what any gentleman would and quickly got up and handed her my hand.

She seemed to have recovered fairly quickly too as she reached to take my hand but that's when I felt something completely unnatural…

There was a strange pressure on my mind and it was intensifying by the moment!

This pressure caused me to back away from her as I finally met her gaze and noticed her features.

It's Red

Her hair is more Crimson than strawberry blonde;

A Red so bright it looks like a flame

There's only one girl in the whole school with hair like this and someone I've been trying to avoid since my transmigration.
