Wakanda's Uninvited Guest

Wakanda was a fictional African country that was created for Marvel comics, but in this Marvel universe, it was a real country!

Located in eastern Africa, it had maintained isolation for centuries. Despite the constant cycles of war and peace and the march of science in the outside world, they had no intention to participate!

On the surface, Wakanda was a poor and backward agricultural country, but in truth, it was the most advanced country on Earth, possessing the unique Vibranium resources.

Vibranium was exceptional material for various weapons, of course, but it was also able to provide energy needed to sustain Wakanda. The constant study and mining of Vibranium advanced Wakanda's technological level decades ahead of the rest of the world!

Vibranium did not occur naturally on Earth. It was brought here by a huge meteorite that landed some 250 thousand years ago in eastern Africa! Five human tribes settled the region around the crash site and established Wakanda!

The tribes were in constant conflict up until ten thousand years ago, until a warrior called Bashenga consumed a heart-shaped herb under the guidance of Black Panther Goddess, Bast. With the strength that he gained, he heroically unified Wakanda!

He was also the first Black Panther in history!

From then on, the kings of Wakanda would accept challenges from the people of various tribes. As long as they defeated the challenger, they would drink the heart-shaped herb, obtain the power of the goddess Black Panther, become the next king, and take over the title of the next Black Panther!

And Black Panther did not just refer to a single person, but the title of the kings of the past generations!

It was a beautiful sunny day. The rising sun rays pierced through Wakanda's energy shield and shone into Wakanda's fertile land, bringing life to all of Wakanda!

However, such an ordinary day was changed by the arrival of uninvited guest for the first time in Wakanda!

Moreover, they had arrived in a strange manner. It could only described as magic, when blue circle of light suddenly appeared in front of the royal palace of Wakanda!

The king's personal guards quickly responded to the emergency and surrounded the blue circle of light.

But it was an exceedingly extraordinary phenomena indeed. Even the captain of the guards, the most experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable of them all, didn't dare to act rashly. She simply sent some people to inform the king.

Right after the messenger left, a few figures emerged from the blue circle of light!

"Identify yourself! Why have you intruded into Wakanda? How have you arrived with that circle of light?"

After the people walked out of the circle of light, the portal suddenly fizzled into thin air!

Despite the incomprehensible phenomena, the bald guard captain remained true to her duty. She pointed the Vibranium spear in her hand at the strangers and shouted loudly!

Her tone made it clear that she would not hesitate to attack! The other guards followed suit and leveled their spears against the intruders, their expressions serious and vigilant!

"Hello, we are very sorry for bothering you. We wish you to inform your king that we have business to discuss with him. We hope that he would meet us!"

Obviously, the figures that emerged from the portal were Li Yue and the others. With him were Tony, Banner, and Starlight! Tony and Banner were curious about Li Yue's claim that Wakanda's technology were ahead of the world, so they tagged along. As for Starlight, she simply followed Li Yue everywhere!

The group found that they were surrounded by a group of bald black women with spears right after passing through the portal. This was within Li Yue's expectations. Of course, he knew that these were the personal guards of King Wakanda!

But one shouldn't look down on them just because they were women. They were all extraordinarily strong, and no ordinary men would be able to stand against them.

The captain of the guards was even stronger. During the battle of Wakanda in Infinity Wars, she had killed Thanos' general Corvus Glaive with a single strike, giving Corvus Glaive the title of the most useless villain in the series!

So Li Yue had no intention of fighting with this group of people! He only wanted to see the current king of Wakanda, T'Chaka, father of T'Challa, who was killed in the third Captain America movie!

"The king is not someone that you can meet with such impudent request! Trespassers, surrender immediately and wait for the king's judgment! Do not force our hand!"

The bald black woman didn't seem to be in the mood to entertain Li Yue. She shouted loudly, ordering the group to surrender.

Her actions were understandable. This group of unknown people with unknown motive had appeared suddenly through strange method. It was better to restrain them! That was Okoye's logic!

"Li Yue, why are you wasting your breath on these women? Look at these backward people, fighting with primitive spears! There's no way anything you said was true!"

Tony complained from behind Li Yue, walking towards Okoye with contempt.

"Hey, bald black girl, hurry up and tell your king that the superhero Iron Man is here to see him! Also, the outside world have these things called guns and cannons, you might want to update your armory a bit! On top of that, what kind of country send their women to battle?"

"I do not care if you are an iron man or a wooden man. Anyone who trespasses into Wakanda must be captured and brought to the king, and resistance is punishable by immediate execution! If you refuse to surrender, do not blame my hand for slipping my spear through you!"

Okoye bravely stood her ground against Tony. She didn't seem to recognize the name Iron Man, but her face tightened when Tony approached her.

"Hey, why are you gotta be so uptight? We just wanted to meet your king. Is this how Wakanda treat your guests?

"Well, if you won't bring us to the king, we'll just walk in and find him ourselves!"

Tony was fearless in the face of these women. He never thought that these people would actually attack him! He arrogantly tried to walk past the encirclement, in his classic Tony Stark style!

"Dora Milaje, apprehend them!"

However, a strict monarchy like Wakanda would never treat trespasser like him leniently. Okoye gave the order to attack and stabbed her own spear at Tony!

Okoye hadn't said anything to Tony's belittlement, but she clearly disliked him! She decided to teach Tony a lesson, but not kill him, so she didn't aim for vital organ!

Tony realized that the woman that he had dismissed wasn't just moving around carelessly. Her movement was quick and precise, stabbing her spear right toward his shoulder. His life wouldn't be in danger, but it was obviously not painless!

Moreover, Tony was an ordinary person outside his suit, so he wouldn't be able to dodge!

"I must finish my nanoarmor research right after I go back. I don't want to be in this helpless situation ever again!"

That though passed through Tony's mind when the spear was barely a dozen centimeter away from hitting him!

Li Yue watched the scene with helpless feeling as Okoye's spear quickly launched at Tony with nobody to stop it.

If this is a movie or TV show, wouldn't this be the perfect moment for the king to suddenly arrive and shout "stop!?" Why was it that the cinematic conventions break down whenever Li Yue was involved?!

Li Yue had no choice but to step in himself!
